Hi,

Thought I'd start the new thread ready for tomorrow. I am aiming to be 9st1 by the end of March, have decided to be ambitious for once.

@HeyGirlHeyBoy hi! Do you know what the steps are in distance? Do you just go for a mega walk? I don't have a step tracker but I'd guess I do no where near that day to day.

I work at a desk 7-3, then straight to school. Sometimes I can park at home and walk up and back but if I'm running behind I have to drive straight there. Then it's standing in a park, home to cook kids tea and bedtime chaos. I feel busy and my days are long but I don't think I actually move that much!

You can use your phone as a steps tracker, instead.
Bit off track today so snack will be a can of l'mon and kale chips.

My diet has been shocking this week I must say. Dunno what's wrong with me. I've kind of written it off for this week and frankly next as i'm on annual leave.

Hangover I know my 50min walk is around 8k steps and my just over an hour long walk is 10k steps. I had 7k done on return from work. With 16k now, total, I've walked 11k throughout the day. I have to park a little away from work this week and it's amazing how a short and lovely walk gives me that little bit more before I even set out for an actual walk! I've been bad for the snacks despite the good meals and steps so not overly hopeful for a drop tomorrow but as we are mid incredibly long lockdown during a pandemic, I'll be happy with status quo or any drop at all. Think I was 9st2/2.5.

Checking in with a good week so far on the steps. Diet has been mainly cake and cheesecake. Lots of positivity on here at the moment and some great losses-well done everyone Smile

Sorry hangover, I mean I've walked 11km overall today. Definitely worth tracking on phone.

Fantastic steps @FlatteredFool. Definitely feeling more in control with my eating, not eating in front of screens and not snacking as much, just a shame that everything I want to eat is carby. 9st4 this morning, but tbh my stomach feels very heavy, could be due a period or my body is going through the motions, its been a long time and cause I have inbetween bleeding, dont know what my cycle length. Either way feeling quite hormonal and yuk. Hope everyone else has a good day.

Well much to my surprise, the combination of post period down fluctuation and my shit diet last week have cancelled each other out and my weight is back to maintenance baseline. Noice.

Thanks all, weighed in at a tiny smidge under 10 stone the other morning which I was very happy with. Literally about 9stone 13.8 but still! I've probably gone back over it again now as I've been a bit bad with the iced lattes over the last few days, absolutely love them when I'm in the library at the moment. Personal training session this morning and it was HARD. Already at just under 12,000 steps for the day so should end on about 14-15000.

Down a half pound here this morning, I'll take it. 5k steps done during working day so I'll have to push myself out later. My first pair of Sweaty Bettys arrived so that can be my incentive to move! All going well I'll average 12k daily steps over the week sun-sat. Happy Friday Smile

@HeyGirlHeyBoy please do let me know how you find the new leggings, I have been eye'ing that particular brand up this week as I need to order some more.

Report
HeyGirlHeyBoy · 05/03/2021 15:34

There was a sale last week, possibly still running. Well they're a bit on the thick side for me, I'd say they'll be night time and winter walking leggings but not running. Perhaps there are lighter ones. I got the um sculpting Grin but they are very good and well made so I'm happy.

Lots of water drunk. Lots of fat consumed. 10000+ steps, all activity goals met. Just need to get the diet in check now. However I did get into my size 10 jeans today Smile big walk planned tomorrow with the dc to keep up the great steps for this week. I might set myself a step target for this month considering I'm on a roll and the school run starts on Monday. I am really looking forward to some time to myself. Ds is back on Monday and dds back on Wednesday. Wednesday is going to be amazingly quiet and chilled. I'm going to start bike rides again and eat much better. I've needed cake and cheesecake this week. Bloody hormones.
Have a good weekend everyone!

I LOVE iced lattes @kryptonfactor I drank about three pints a week last summer (decaf) while I was pregnant! Naively thinking as it was milk, it was probably the lesser of evil options. Ho hum.

I don't think I've ever been a size 10! Great work @FlatteredFool

Ah boo. 1/2lb on. Too many just slightly over days.
Plan for the week is to plan each day better.

@FlatteredFool and @kryptonfactor well done. Haven't weighed myself this morning, cause wasn't well yesterday (hormones, tummy ache) and ended up eating cake and then a take away later. Steps were also very low. Got to go out and work today and catch up with everything so hoping to do better. Hope everyone has a good day.

Well done fool and krypton.

I'm dodging scales for similar reasons to octopus.

Will focus on trying to get my steps up today. Yesterday I felt rubbish and think it was down to my jab on Thursday. I went to work and did what had to be done but steps were low and had takeaway and chocolate

I need to check in more often and be more accountable, so here I am, a bit over today but I had tofu and veg stir fry from the Chinese and carefully counted my prawn crackers, and I'm saving the apple turnover for breakfast.

Rubbish food day today but the steps are great as we went on another walk. Some hills involved so not just a trundle along. 80,273 steps this week so far. There'll be another 10,000 added to that tomorrow as I need to walk up to my mum's with her shopping. We've had such beautiful walks this week and have been out every day except Friday. We walked

Whoops. We walked on Tuesday but only out of necessity. It's fantastic to be out in the sunshine a fresh air. We live somewhere quite scenic and it's fantastic to see countryside daily.

Well done flattered. I managed 12k daily average so I'm very pleased with that. Water needs to be upped big time! Having some bother with ds 8 flipping his likld waaay too quickly over small things so I'm a bit exhausted and fed up with that. Have to dig deep!

Morning scales up a pound today. Hopefully quickly remedied by a healthier day. Been a bit of a slug since my jab.

Going to take the dog out for a walk now and try and start on a good note.

Well done on all your walking FF and heygirl.
