Hi,

Thought I'd start the new thread ready for tomorrow. I am aiming to be 9st1 by the end of March, have decided to be ambitious for once.

My period has arrived - sorry if tmi but thank the fairies! This was actually a 28 day cycle.

Hopefully the scales will celebrate with me soon.

Walked a lot yesterday but scales are really up. Wish period would come.

Oh no! I like that my Fitbit syncs with my phone/MFP.

If you have only lost it in a very small area you can go and look for it with a Bluetooth sniffer on your phone. I have found it in the house that way before.

I've been really positive the last two days... the sun has been shining and after four days of only about 7000 steps each, I managed 18,000 yesterday and walked for 2.5 hours today in the glorious sunshine. Went to check how many steps that was and.... I've lost my Fitbit 😢.

I don't like wrist watches so I've been wearing it on a belt clip on my trouser pocket, but at some point it must have got caught and come off. Bugger. I haven't really used many features apart from the step counter so I think it's probably an expensive way to have learned that I really only need a cheap pedometer.

Managed a decent walk this morning collecting something from our village gifting page.

Waiting in for a Tesco delivery now but will try and get out again afterwards. Will see if my parents are up for a garden visit and go there.

Have been a crap eating slug for a few days so need to get moving

Hello hello. The scales put me back at my favourite number this morning. I've been out in the garden working hard for a couple of hours as well. Ice cream later. In case anyone needs to know, Mars ice creams bought from the supermarket are 140 calories which is a freaking bargain and coincidentally my favourite ice creams.

Enjoy the mini heat wave if you can everyone!

Mainly in front of a computer today (just realised my next call is in 5 mins) but I have a bit more leeway with a bike ride now the clocks have changed.

Doing OK for food as well, DH has bought some Brownie Hobnobs but I had 2 and didn't eat the rest of the packet!

Haven't weighed in today. Have managed 9357 steps so far and some water. Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather.

Scales up a bit unsurprisingly. Liking the sound of a heat wave.

Yahoo for good weather!!

Water, water, water for me this week plus daily exercise. I am also aiming to get my old bike serviced and get a tyre replaced.

I'm very excited about the mini heatwave tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm planning to garden and have a garden lunch with my parents.

Happy Monday everyone, cannot believe we are nearly at the end of March. 9st4.25 this morning, still not in the groove but trying not to worry. Think my aim in April will be just to concentrate on feeling a bit better and fitter. Think we have got some nice weather coming which will help.

I tried this recipe from a Pinch of Nom book last night. It was super tasty. I'd consider padding it out with some more veg. Definitely going to do it again.

Semi off the rails today.

I had a bowl of leftover stew then later made ds a ready meal macaroni cheese that he said he wanted but then turned his nose up and I stupidly didn't want to see it go to waste. Stodgy waste of calories.

I've also had a few beers.

Oh well official weigh is not till late in the week.

Sorry to hear that Nutella and Honeybadger. I have so many crappy experiences in the last few years and I can honestly say I have looked back on every one saying 'wow can't believe I'm glad that didn't happen after all', it will work out. Going through something stressful and maddening again at the moment but I now know I will be OK, it will be OK, it will work out. Hard bloody going though. My fitbit strap has disintegrated Sad seems like havre to replace the whole thing, it's the side with the buckle.

Thanks it was vast amounts of extra work for very little extra money and no allocated time for the additional responsibility so some relief and awareness it's for the best but still a bit gutting.

In better news 13:13 bang on. After I lost a stone and a half last year this is about where I stayed at (bouncing between 13:12 and 14:1) after I went back to work and then gym closures and winter kicked in. So I'm back to that weight but with the beginnings of spring ahead of me so hopefully I can keep going now.

@NutEllaElla and @TheHoneyBadger there are better things ahead for you, as @Overweight says, things happen for a reason, although it doesn't always feel like it. I've been a bit down on steps the last couple of days. Weighed 9st4.75 this morning.

Sorry to hear about the jobs @NutellaEllaElla and @TheHoneyBadger. I'm a firm believer in everything happening for a reason and every day leads towards whatever is next, even if it doesn't always feel like it.

I've been way down on steps in the last few days. Firstly had too many jobs to do at home and then today's walk was at toddler pace. Still we got some nice views and I was carrying the toddler and then the baby which won't be reflected in the steps!

Ruddy MFP isn't working properly!! I made the Pinch of Nom Beef Stroganoff for tea but didn't have quite the right quantities so I wanted to log it all and see if I'll have any room for a drink this evening!

Sorry Nutella. Let's try and believe it's because better things are just around the corner for us and those crappy jobs would've gotten in the way Wink

I've woken up slight annoyed and thinking about it every morning since and having to have a word with myself to let it go.

NutellaEllaElla · 27/03/2021 15:55

I didn't get the job by the way. Critique was exactly as expected which is fine.

Sounds like you're really going through it Badger.
Had my second jab today, plus have sinus problems still, plus period pains. What a day Grin

DH wants Nando's. Bastard. My usual favourite meal would be 1200 which is just insane. It's the Halloumi in the Fino pita which really sends it over the top. I'm settling for a regular pitta with chips which is 800 total and a bit easier to fit in to a weekend day calorie target.

Thanks.

Stew is in the slow cooker but won't be ready for hours and hours which is probably a good thing. I'm sad for no reason and cried at something I was watching earlier so I'm guessing pmt - day 25 which means nothing nowadays as my cycles could be 20 days or could be 30.

I'm meant to have had bloods done for thyroid and vit d ages ago. Might see if I can add hormones to the list and get them done over the holidays.
