Hi,

Thought I'd start the new thread ready for tomorrow. I am aiming to be 9st1 by the end of March, have decided to be ambitious for once.

I had some fudge. Been feeling quite low and tired and had no appetite so ate some fudge.

Ate healthily yesterday. No alcohol and lots of water today. Keep hoping new pills will kick in soon. Still no sign of period

Thanks for the lovely warm welcome! I'm trying to focus on one day at a time and making good choices, just for that day. Hoping like lots of you that the schools going back will give me time for a proper lunch hour walk and less snacking

Chocolate mostly. Not great but not the end of the world.

@TheHoneyBadger hope you feel better today. Also waiting to see if a period arrives, got to have a blood test next week to test my hormone levels. @Restlessinthenorth one day at a time, is definitely the best way. I'm not eating that healthily at the moment, ie carbs and what I want, but I am managing to snack less and have stuck to not eating in front of screens. Felt like I was going to go crazy waiting for my dinner last night cause I was so hungry but just about managed, was also still peckish afterwards but got through it. 9st3 this morning.

Day 33 and no sign Octopus which is weird as lately they'd been short cycles.

14st1.6 today. Official weigh in tomorrow but if that holds I've lost 10.4lbs in 5 weeks.

Awesome @TheHoneyBadger that is FANTASTIC!

Welcome @Restlessinthenorth and @brightgreenapple Good luck with your weight loss journey.

I'm keeping on track. Aiming for 1300 but had some days closer to 1500. A Cadbury's creme egg after a particularly stressful day yesterday didn't help Grin

10st 2. Want to push on to lose the 2lb and then think will play around with maintenance for a bit.

@Hangoverstruggles life's too short for no Cadbury's creme eggs, I'm sure chocolate is one of the five essential food groups. @TheHoneyBadger 10 pounds is loads

Could I join you guys? I'm 10 stone 2 at the moment and would love to be in the 9's by the end of the month. I'm beginning to think it is impossible as I've been stuck at this weight for ages, though I'm just glad to have avoided the 1.5 stone weight gain that happened in the first lockdown. March plan is personal training sessions twice a week, one other training session each week, at least 10,000 steps a day and no take aways! Oh, and water. 1.5-2 litres at the moment, struggle a bit in the colder weather.

Welcome @kryptonfactor and others new joiners!

An ok week here, I'm managing to get the steps in and actually get twitchy if I can't work out how to fit them into the day. They baby's sleep has gone to shit this week, so I've been wasting hours during the day trying to get her to sleep and was up 2.30-5.30 am the other night which was tough. I've been hungry again this week. I'd got fairly used to it, but this week I've been starving. Wonder if it's because I'm extra tired. Caved in today and I've had two oatcakes and two haribo bears!

@FlatteredFool I've been thinking about toning too. I need to do something about my bingo wings and also my tummy after two c sections. I'm going to look for something which I can just do in front of the tele of an evening e.g. 15 mins on each and don't mind repeating the same thing every day. Just don't want anything which will get me sweaty and needing a shower because then it's not a quick 30 minute thing. I'll let you know what I find!

@kryptonfactor I know - I find the water consumption so much easier through the summer months!!

@Overweight I have started incline walking on the treadmill and holding some weights in my arms, no idea if it's doing anything but thought a bit of resistance wouldn't hurt!!

another positive day today, feeling so much more in control using MyFitnessPal - it makes it all so easy and accountable. Now for 20 mins incline walk and bath! I haven't mustered up the motivation to start running again!! 🥴

Wow, sounds as if everyone is doing really well. Welcome @kryptonfactor. Agree about drinking water being so much easier in the Summer. A bit of carb overload for me today, but I didn't snack in front of a screen and steps were quite good, over 12,460. Weighed 9st3.5 today

Weigh day here today. 85.4kg so I've lost 5.7kg since I started four weeks ago. I think that's just over 12 pounds and I'm happy with. I'm glad it's still coming off, but last week was the least lost yet at 900g, so after a few iffy days this is a handy lesson what happens if I ease off!

Well done overweight (not the nicest name you could have given yourself)!

I'm 14:1 on the nose so 11lbs in 5 weeks. Solid start! Just have to keep going.

I have my first Covid jab today. Feeling a bit nervous strangely

TheHoneyBadger · 04/03/2021 09:11

I'm so pleased with that loss! I was feeling like I'd never get back into it. My pre falling back off the wagon weight is within close reach and then I'll really feel like I'm back on track and hopefully with better conditions to keep it going.

@TheHoneyBadger what a great loss! Keep it going!
I have decided until Mother's Day I will be 100% on it, and on that day I will enjoy some cake and a 'treat' dinner.

I have signed up to 'The Francis Diet' on Instagram - not sure if anyone has heard of it? I am just waiting for my plan, the exercise is meant to be hardcore, but his transformations are incredible! Hope that to be me one day 😂

Nice one @TheHoneyBadger that's great! And solid goals to aim for. It's probably normal to be nervous but all of my relations who've had the vaccine have been fine. MIL felt a bit off for about 18 hours but that was it. Good luck!

With hindsight Overweight was a daft name, but only because it doesn't look like a name in sentences! I nc for the weight loss board because I wanted to be 100% accurate on all of the details and not worry about anything being outing as I'm also chatting to a couple of friends and DH about this IRL. I might think of something better for April!

I wouldn't recommend choosing the name of your favourite sugary treat. My intake of Nutella has definitely increased since my name change. Maybe you should call yourself Salad or something Grin

Hi all,

@brightgreenapple i noticed your goal is similar to what I started with. Looking back on my app I started at 11st2 mid April and it took 3 weeks to get to 10st8. And then another 8 weeks to get to 10stone.

I've pretty much maintained from then on, dropping to my lowest 9st11 but also gaining to 10st4 recently after a bit of a drawn out Christmas / lockdown blues!

Currently 10st1 this morning so getting back there! Thought might be interesting to you in terms of time scales. I was calories counting but would have had the odd week off for birthdays etc during that time and definitely weekend treats!

I also have Mother's Day in sight as a massive no diet day! Chinese takeaway and probably chocolate or cake if I'm lucky. Will then try to be good until the Easter choc-fest!

Welll done in losses / steps / water everyone 👊

Lunch looks good and filling!

@brightgreenapple i think I got off to a good start because it was spring and my birthday is early May so I was really strict until my birthday weekend. Looking at my tracker I went up 3lb after birthday weekend 😂

I had started couch to 5k so was doing that and online workouts. In less good with the exercise now, something is hoping I go back to in spring to help with maintenance
