Frolicking through February

Think I might have used a similar title last year, but here goes. Hopefully we might move towards frolicking cause things have got to improve in February right.

Weighed in at 9st4 this morning. A couple of pounds off this month would be great, but I'm mainly working on my motivation and trying to increase my energy levels.

Happy birthday. Enjoy the sunshine ☀️

Bit glum here. Going to drag myself out for a walk in the sunshine later as I know it will do me good. Still titrating new meds and period is imminent so glum feeling of lurking doom could be either of those factors.

Happy birthday @NutellaEllaElla

Hope the sunshine lifted your spirits @TheHoneyBadger

Yeah we did a catch up in parents garden. Not sure of legality but ds and I hadn't seen anyone or been anywhere for a couple of weeks and parents were vaccinated in January and at the stage of tearing verbal strips of each other from being shut in together for so long.

Must make myself work tomorrow and record lessons. Not my ideal way to spend a Sunday but pretty standard. Will be a relief to be back to teaching in the classroom

Food and steps ok today but a fair bit of good white wine consumed.

Hi all,

Sounds like a good approach @Octopus37. Being mindful is so important but so easy to forget! Calorie counting does that for me but as soon as i stop counting in maintenance I end up mindlessly eating way more than I should.

Glad you had a lovely day Nutella. Badger a few glasses in the garden with your folks sounds wonderful. It's essential.

I've had an ok day but my god am I finding it hard on only 1300. I woke hungry so have had to be very tactical with what I eat to come in roughly on target. I didn't find it this hard when I first started last spring!

B Greek yog, berries, sprinkling of granola. Still ravenous so had half a pb and banana sandwich. Coffee

L sandwich made with 2 hard boiled eggs and ham, few strawberries

D Gousto one pot haddock curry. Bloody lovely but as I could seemingly eat a horse today twice the portion would have been nice.

S Tea, rice cake with pb, packet of sunbites

  1. Still below maintenance but more than I'm planned. Starting work at 6am tomorrow so will no doubt be starving by 8am 😬

@Hangoverstruggles well done, 1500 sounds fine @TheHoneyBadger hope getting out and seeing your parents lifted your mood. Bet you will be relieved to get back in the classroom. @NutellaEllaElla hope you had a good Birthday. @drspouse thanks for the tip on eating mindfully. I did kind of manage it yesterday, no eating whilst I was doing something else, think it helps. I've already noticed that I want to get what I am eating eaten (but try not to rush), so I can do something else, whereas when I am on a screen, I want to carry on eating cause its an excuse to sit down. Dont know if that makes sense, but I'm hoping it will help. 9st5.25 this morning, I'm determined to have a better month in March.

You're the queen of fluctuations currently octopus. Usually my job.

Scales look good. Drinking lots of water.

Hangoverstruggles · 01/03/2021 06:49

Morning, happy Monday!

Yesterday:

B ono, coffee
L some chicken, rice cakes & pb, small packet of crisps, hard boiled eggs, tea
D pan fried fish with mushroom and spinach gnocchi (Gousto recipe)
S half tub Ben & Jerries moo-foria (the lower cal one!)

Off to work now with some ono and a big chicken salad for lunch. Let's hope there are no biscuits 😁

Hope you all had a good weekend
