Aiming for 1lb per week

Previously I’ve been disappointed at losing ‘only’ 1lb per week so have fallen off the wagon but really if I’d just accepted it and kept at it I’d be stones down by now. The science tells me it’s 1lb per week I should be losing on the calorie deficit I had but obviously I wanted more Grin

My plan for January is to ease myself in gently by just stopping the snacks. Then if I need to take more extreme measures in February I will. I’m not great at stopping at one biscuit or one packet of crisps so I think none is the best way forward.

But not until I start work again on Tuesday. I’ll weigh myself then for a starting weight.

Anyone who would like to join me in whichever method they choose is more than welcome!

I'm back to where I was a fortnight ago which is irritating but not surprising. Have been a little too relaxed around the sugary stuff. Not giving up, still more than half of May to go to achieve some loss this month.

Actually it's not quite as bad as I thought, 1lb less than I was a fortnight ago but still more than last week. I'll take that. Mood has improved considerably Smile

Can I please join? I currently lose around 2lbs a month just generally, I have a wobble every so often that i need to just lose it all at once( that never works and I always feel worse) I think for me what works best is slow and steady, so maybe a thread like this would help! my original weight was 15'6 which was last year after my last baby, current weight is 13'12 , and I'm aiming for 9'10!!

-0.6lb this week and it was hard going. Felt like an awful lot of sacrifice for not much reward. However, definitely not a gain, better even than a maintain so I'll stop being despondent. If I can manage at least the same again next week then I am having a non edible reward. Will waste too much time today imagining what it will be but I am in urgent need of incentivisation.

Hope I'm not just talking to myself Grin

Managed to find some resolve at last and can report a loss of 2.2lb. Am really pleased.
