I’ve just downloaded the nutra check app and plan to lose 2 stone by autumn.

Anyone need to lose a couple too?

I'm in ! At 5ft 4 my lockdown lard has contributed to a 'enough is enough' moment. I don't have scales anymore as I noticed I'd reward myself after good losses, so binned them.
Anyway, am planning to knock it all on the head today, I used to drink so much water pre lockdown, now I'm barely drinking any combined with weekend wine and constant fridge surfing - it's ridiculous!

@Jannyapple66 bsd is The Blood Sugar Diet. In essence, it’s 800 cals a day of protein, veg and some lentils/pulses.
I usually skip breakfast and try to go as long as I can. Usually til about 1pm then it doesn’t seem too bad to fit 800 cals in for the rest of the day.

Also having been a water person all my life I’m now drinking squash, coke, orange, juice.

You have your answer there. I know how hard it is, but just changing what you drink will make a huge difference!

I'm not into sweet stuff. The only diet that has worked for me is going very low carb. No flour, legumes, pasta, rice or potatoes. Completely eliminated them from my diet

I'm the same. 5ft 2 and 11st. I was 8st for years and have piled it on over the past couple of years. Size 14 and really need to do something about it.

I’m doing 4:3 fast this week. Fast day today so I’ve had a black coffee and some hot water. Will have approx 300 cal meal at lunch time and then some fruit and more black coffee and water.
I think this is my 3 rd week of fasting and so far I’ve had no issue with it.

I have cut down calories to 1100 and I walk 15k steps per day.

I work FT in a pretty full on job - currently entirely home based - and don’t have much opportunity for exercise.

I piled on three stone in the last four years and had crept up from 8.3 stone to 9 in the two years before that.

I’ve never really dieted before - mid thirties and 8 stone I could eat and drink what I wanted and then suddenly l, Bam! Even the site of a sandwich makes me put on weight Grin

@MoonBaby1 I never drink juice these days. I always think in terms of would I rather have a glass of juice or two biscuits with my water. The latter always wins!

Yup I’m 40 and had the same issue! I think I might murder someone if I only ate 1100 a day. I’m on 1300 at the moment with daily walk and Pilates or hiit- I’ll see if that’s snogging you make a difference!

I find that once I’m restricting my diet down to 1300 it doesn’t take much to cut an extra 200 - I’m in the zone.

It’s the restricted diet and getting my head round the fact that I can’t have a burger and chips plus a family bag of minstrels washed down with 3/4 a bottle of wine that’s the problem.

Yes fully relate to that. If I don’t lose on 1300 I’ll have to cut back more or look at intermittent fasting.

Afternoon everyone, just checking in to see how you are getting on.

I have been for a long walk with the dogs and managed to avoid getting rained on. Have been sorting out the house, I'm not sure how I can go to bed with a tidy house and wake up to a mess. Worked up a sweat scrubbing the bathroom. I live such an exciting life 😄

Hey @Jannyapple66 I haven't actually eaten anything yet, I've been too busy to think about it. I've had loads of coffee though and a can of diet Coke. Am planning a tuna salad in a bit. How are you doing. I see that there is another 5ft 4 lady on here now. We are triplets!

I had my breakfast shake and a lunch meal ... 400 cals
On about the 5th coffee and 1.5 L down in water lol
I'm not a fizzy drink fan cause it just makes me burp Hmm

@Jannyapple66 you are doing well. Are you weighing once a week? I'm going to add water to my list of good things to adopt. Trouble is water goes straight through me and I won't be able to leave the house for more than fifteen minutes at a time. Why is that, I can drink coffee all day and don't need to wee.

Hi yes , I started Friday morning so will weigh then each week
I think the water makes a big difference no matter what diet you do , fills you up, helps the bowels , good for skin etc
You do adapt eventually to the peeing every 2 minutes lol
Can't wait for Friday
What about you ? When are you going to weigh or measure yourself ?

@Jannyapple66 I started half heartedly on Friday but wasn't very good but was good yesterday. I was exactly 12 stone on Friday so I shall weigh Fridays. We will be Friday weigh twins.

I woke up a lot more positive this morning, I'm really pleased to have you as my twin. 💐
