Well done @MirandaWest 👏🏻

P.S I'm looking at the Chloe Ting stuff on YouTube now : )

MirandaWest · 30/07/2020 21:37

@artyandtarty thank you 😊

I’m doing a 28 day flat stomach one - each day seems to have one or two workouts. So far I have definitely been using some muscles I haven’t used for a while

Dazedandconfused28 · 31/07/2020 09:28

Gym done again this morning & 13k steps by 9am. That's 4 Gym visits this week.

Heading out for a posh lunch today though - but going to aim for this to be my only meal of the day.

I hope everyone else is feeling good!

MirandaWest · 31/07/2020 10:19

Dh and I went out for dinner last night (wedding anniversary). Was a tasting menu with 15 courses but I’m hoping it won’t have done too much damage! DH teased me asking whether I would be asking them for the bar codes so I could log it on MFP Grin

sg622 · 31/07/2020 19:42

@artyandtarty what exercise bike did you get and would you recommend it? I'm considering getting one myself. Must also investigate Chloe Ting - I could definitely do with a flatter tummy in 28 days!! Haven't had a great few days - ice cream yesterday and a slice of cake today🙊. Hoping I'll still lose another lb by Monday

artyandtarty · 31/07/2020 20:59

@sg622 this is the bike I've got. It's fab, I highly recommend it Smile I've used indoor cycles in the gym before & this one is on par with the ones there. It's got lots of different resistance programs. At the moment I just use the manual mode & change up the resistance the same as the instructor does on the spin classes I watch on you tube.

I did have a bit of a nightmare after sales experience though, basically if you read the reviews on Trustpilot this company has been overwhelmed with orders through COVID & they haven't been responding to customer queries regarding delivery times! Me included. I opened a PayPal case after hearing nothing 2 weeks after I paid & they then shipped it straight away. It was worth the hassle, I've had some truly brutal & torturous work outs from it ha 💪🏻

Also I wanted a decent sturdy bike & good variable resistance which this is.

Been out for week 7 run 1 - another 25 minutes done Smile

MirandaWest · 03/08/2020 07:20

Monday morning - am having a quick walk before work. Have been carrying on with my chloe Ting workouts and I think my tummy might be getting a little flatter....

Had Sunday lunch out yesterday but then didn’t need to eat any more so hoping it will all balance out. Am glad my weigh in day is Wednesday and not Monday though Grin

MirandaWest · 05/08/2020 08:18

Where is everyone?

wrensandrobins · 05/08/2020 11:23

I struggling this week- sticking to my calories and weight is going up- I have come off the pill to start to settle my cycles before TTC in December and I think it has screwed with my hormones! I think it's bloating but it's very unmotivating

Dazedandconfused28 · 05/08/2020 19:43

I'm here! Managed the gym Monday & Tuesday & somehow 24k/25k steps each day. Wednesday is a rest day, but I managed 13k steps.

Wanted a treat lunch & ordered fried chicken, but it was really disappointing - I ate half, which is a bonus I guess - but a bit gutted my treat meal was a let down. Managed to stick to 1000cals (almost)

Took delivery of some resistance bands, so trying to do some arm, leg, bum exercises every hour of the working day & back to the gym tomorrow.

Back to the gym tomorrow.

MirandaWest · 05/08/2020 20:26

I lost 0.5kg this week (Wednesday is weigh in day) to 72.1kg. Am a little disappointed my weight loss has slowed down but my flabby tummy does seem to be less flabby (down 3 inches in 3 weeks) and waist has also gone from 32 inches 6 weeks ago to 29.5 inches this morning. And I have lost 7.6kg in 6 weeks. So am doing all right overall....I just would like it to keep dropping quickly!

I have found that some clothes I haven’t worn for a couple of months seem to be possible again which is also encouraging. And things like crouching down at the fridge is easier than it was so my legs must be smaller. And finally if I lean over then my tummy doesn’t come down as far.

Am on holiday next week - hopefully the weather will let us do some exploring (we are going to north wales) as I have been doing around 20,000 steps a day and running and some other exercise things and suspect I may eat a bit more next week too. Won’t be taking the scales away though Grin

sg622 · 06/08/2020 16:23

Well I had a slightly depressing weigh-in on Monday as I have gained 2lbs. I did have an ice cream and slice of cake towards the end of the week, plus some wine at the weekend so I guess it is to be expected, but it is so annoying when you have to try really hard to loose weight but it it back on so quickly! I have been a saint so far this week so hopefully it'll even out by Monday

hopeidontforgetthisusername · 07/08/2020 07:11

Well done on your weigh loss @MirandaWest - The 3 inches lost on the waist line is fabulous!

I am plodding on, was away last week and managed 0.5lb weight loss which is ok for being away and this week I am hoping for another 1lb as haven't had the best week. I weight in tomorrow but usually also weigh on a Wednesday as it helps to keep me focused.

Dazedandconfused28 · 07/08/2020 08:59

Congratulations on your loss MirandaWest! That's brilliant.

I've been to the gym for last time this week (unless I feel super motivated & go on Sunday.)

I'm heading to visit my cousin tomorrow & ai imagine there will be a bbq or spread of some sort - so I'll have to keep tabs on myself. I'm going to take along my own diet coke, to avoid the temptation to booze.

It will also be tough trying to hit 10k steps, so I might try & drag myself out for a slow jog before we go.

Weigh day on Monday, so I'm really hoping to see some progress

Dazedandconfused28 · 09/08/2020 21:10

So I managed 10k steps on Saturday & 17k today, I was restrained at the bbq on Saturday but indulged today with a chicken burger & doughnuts (but only ate 2 mini ones which were part of a portion of 6) - so not an angelic weekend by any means, but will do the gym tomorrow & then weigh in. I'm so hoping for a loss, I hope I haven't derailed myself.

MirandaWest · 25/08/2020 22:23

How is everyone doing? Tomorrow is my weigh in day - was 70.4kg last Wednesday and would love to be under 70kg tomorrow. But will see what happens

artyandtarty · 25/08/2020 23:27

I've given up on the scales as they just aren't tallying up for me.... I'm now doing weights frequently ( got myself some good bit of kit ) I'm now super strict food wise 5 days & I relax it a little on the weekend. I'm still at it on the die hard spin classes. Jeans are much looser, legs are trimmer, my waist is looking much firmer & slimmer I can see a peek of oblique muscles coming through ... but the scales report 3lb loss only.

I gained a bit of muscle years ago & I think with muscle memory it's coming back faster than I thought.

So I'm hoping my non weight loss is muscle slowly building.

I'm much happier with how I look & feel now Smile

Go me x and all of you x 💪🏻🏋️‍♀️👍🏻

My weight loss has just completely stalled! I seem to lose 1lb then regain it the next week. I guess I just need to stick with it but it does get very frustrating!

MirandaWest · 27/08/2020 10:07

I lost a measly amount this week - went from 70.4kg to 70.1kg. Really wanted to get under 70kg this week. Will keep on plodding along

littleninja · 30/08/2020 17:26

Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I last checked in.
Since starting this thread, I lost around 6lb in total and I was really pleased to be going in the right direction...BUT, in the past month I have fallen off the wagon and need a kick up the backside. Bloody 'Eat out to help out' has been my downfall and I need some motivation. I know I have put weight back on but maybe not all of it. Won't know for sure until I jump on the scales tomorrow morning when round 2 starts. Would love to loose half a stone or more over the next couple of months. Help me please!!!
