Thanks for the tips! I do find when I've had a satisfied dinner I do not need to snack afterwards so lesson learnt, will keep plodding on!

Switched my meals around today so had a filling breakfast of sausage and egg and will have shake for lunch and dinner.

BigMumma18 · 16/07/2020 10:31

@greendress789 no probs! Your breakfast sounds nice, yesterday I had a meal at lunch and a shake and snack in the evening, I'm going to do the same today and when I'm at home I think, as so hard not to feel hungry when bored. When I'm working I find it easier and also look forward to an evening meal then

greendress789 · 16/07/2020 22:32

I want to eat but I'm not going to!! A good day under my belt so don't want to ruin it.

I'm still persevering, 5lb lost in 5 weeks but most of it was in the first week Grin I really need to be stricter with my evening meal and calorie count properly

BigMumma18 · 17/07/2020 20:00

Well done @greendress789 for not giving in!

@imnottoofussed well done for persevering! I've had a bad day eating rubbish so the rest of the week needs to be really good! I was away from home and not easy to say no to all the food I was given really hope it doesn't have a negative impact this week 😣

greendress789 · 17/07/2020 22:45

@imnottoofussed - great lossso far! Have you tried using MFP to count cals?

@BigMumma18 - so hard when you're away and can't control the food. I find it so hard when we visit MIL as she's either overfeeds us with rubbish or doesn't make enough for 3 meals so you end up filling up on crisps 😫

As for me I keep having a good day then a 'bad' day. I do need to start exercising I think to make up for the odd 100 cals here and there that I go over!

I did Slimfast last summer for about 5 or 6 weeks and lost a pound each weight. I just started again this Tuesday. Not doing any exercise yet though so will have to sort that out.

PollyPelargonium52 · 18/07/2020 05:55

Sorry I meant to say I lost a pound each week. With no exercise.

Elsmum25 · 18/07/2020 06:41

Hi, this thread seems really supportive and just what I need right now! Half way through week 2 and it's getting harder and harder to resist the treats my DP keeps stuffing his face with! 5lb down in my first week (I have cut out chips and breadShock) 9 stone 12 now and would like to get down to 9 stone (only 5 foot so BMI is currently overweight!)

Elsmum25 · 18/07/2020 07:14

Just tried the caffe latte with warm milk! Game canger for my breakfast shakeGrin

greendress789 · 18/07/2020 08:34

Welcome @Elsmum25 and @PollyPelargonium52!

SallyLovesCheese · 21/07/2020 01:21

Weigh-in day!

Starting weight: 12st 2lbs
Week 1: 11st 12lbs
Week 2: 11st 11lbs
Week 3: 11st 10lbs
Week 4: 11st 9lbs
Week 5: 11st 8lbs
Week 6: 11st 9lbs

Oh dear! In my defense, I'm on my period so I'm really hoping that accounts for 1lb, so really I've stayed the same.

Not had a good week, really, so going to try and get back into the running to kick-start some more loss. I can't tell you how much I want this.

Welcome to the newbies, ignore me, I'll be back to happy again soon.

PollyPelargonium52 · 21/07/2020 07:30

I've had a migraine so not been eating much the past two days. So I treated myself to some salami which didn't help but other than that I have lost weight from just not eating! I only had one shake yesterday but plan to have two today.

Wanderlustnearorfar · 21/07/2020 07:41

Hi everyone, forgot to post yesterday weighed in and have stayed the same, did deviate from the plan (blame the weather ☀️) a lot so I’m trying to get back on track this week and stay motivated as at least it isn’t a gain. How are you all getting on?

BigMumma18 · 21/07/2020 08:31

Welcome to @Elsmum25 and @PollyPelargonium52 too!

I've had a really bad week this week so would be really surprised if I don't have a gain on Thursday morning! I need a kick to get back on track 😟

@SallyLovesCheese fingers crossed the 1lb is due to being on your period, think I'll be joining you this week with a gain too though and won't have that as a reason, I feel I need a kick start again so I don't give up! Hope you feel better soon

@PollyPelargonium52 hope your migraine has gone now and that's good you've lost some weight though!

@Wanderlustnearorfar well done for not having a gain this week, I feel I may have by Thursday although I will be really good the next 2 days, I definitely need some enthusiasm to get back on track

BigMumma18 · 23/07/2020 08:39

Ok, week 4 weigh in and I've lost another 1lb, I'm really happy considering I had a bad week so it's now 9lbs in 4 weeks 😊

Stocked up on aldi popcorn bags (peanut butter one is amazing) and they now do whitly neil rhubarb and ginger gin (14.99) so grabbed a bottle of that as well

Hi @FatBeGone well done for cutting out the alcohol and it's hard when there are cakes around! Aldi peanut butter popcorn sounds amazing! I must try and omg whitley Neil rhubarb and ginger gin is the best

SallyLovesCheese · 25/07/2020 18:56

@FatBeGone Well done for having lost. I agree it doesn't necessarily feel amazing right now, but it's all little steps towards an ultimate goal!

@BigMumma18 Another loss! Fantastic!

I was so annoyed about Monday, I've found this week tough but I know my trigger points well enough to know what to do to avoid excess calories, so have been actively working on avoiding those situations. I feel I may be back to 11st 8 on Monday, so technically no loss, but as long as it's not a gain, I'll be happy! Plus, I put on a top yesterday and, whereas previously it has been too tight around the hips, it was much looser! I've been avoiding wearing it because it just didn't feel right, but it reminded me even the little weight I've lost makes a difference!

I even had, yesterday when my parents were visiting (we're in a support bubble together), two thin slices of an olive pavé bread and some mature cheddar! I counted the calories and it was my main meal of the day and it was bloody delicious!!

I hope everyone else is doing okay. I know after a while we almost forget what we're don't and it all starts to slip - or it does for me! I need to keep posting here so I can be held to account somewhere!

BigMumma18 · 25/07/2020 19:29

@SallyLovesCheese thank you so much! 😊 sounds like you're keeping positive which is great! It's lovely having something nice to eat which is really enjoyable and still within the calories. I totally agree with posting on here!

greendress789 · 25/07/2020 21:15

I'm not doing well at this! I just don't find the shakes very filling ☹️

BigMumma18 · 25/07/2020 22:11

@greendress789 oh no! 😥 to be honest I'm only having one shake a day now, didn't have one today though

greendress789 · 25/07/2020 23:17

What does your food look like on a typical day? @BigMumma18
