Good morning! Thanks for the new thread.

I am starting June at 14st6 so I would like to be 13st13 by the end of June!

My weigh day is tomorrow, not feeling too hopeful after feeling bloated all week and a big bbq yesterday! Oh well, onwards and downwards.

DennySaid · 01/06/2020 13:34

Hello! May I join too? Am currently 10st 2lb, having lost a stone since the end of Feb. Would like to lose another half stone/stone, depending on how I look and feel when I get there. Low-carbing in a fairly relaxed way at the moment - ie a few biscuits are sneaking in...

Love the before and after pics from this thread and the last - looking fab!

ploughingthrough · 01/06/2020 13:39

Hello my lovelies. Just checking in so I can support you while I try to maintain. Lost 1.8kg in May taking me down to my target of 60kg. Joined the Jan group at nearly 76 kilos.
I don't fancy my chances of getting much slimmer than this so I'm looking to keep within the range of 59-61kg.
Here's to a successful June.

cricketmum84 · 01/06/2020 13:42

Fruit and salad box just arrived... littlest DD swipes an entire bunch of grapes (we got 3) before I could take a pic!

Welcome all the newbies and hello again to all the familiar faces!
SW Jan 2020 : 13.7.8
SW June 2020: 12.0.8
June target weight: 11.9.8

(I know that's less than 7lbs but I think 5lbs is more realistic atm)

Loving the photos. You all look fab!

SconNotScone · 01/06/2020 16:51

Hi all, and welcome to anyone new to the threads! I’m loving seeing more comparison photos here!

I’m at the point now where I will probably be ready to start maintaining soon. So I think I am going to aim for a goal of 5lb off this month, then probably stick there.

Start weight: 11st 13.5 (Jan 2020)
End weight for May: 9st 12lb
Goal weight for end of June: 9st 7lb

I had hoped to end May at 9st 12 (loss of 5lb), and by some miracle have managed it! I have also set myself a goal this month to do a short exercise video every day (just a 15 min something or other), coupled with my usual 10-15k steps daily. I have been really slack with exercise recently, so hoping a little each day will kick me into gear.

Good luck this month losers!

Chimchimcharoo · 01/06/2020 18:11

Hi everyone. So June 1st weigh in is 13stone. Have been hovering around 13.4 so this is a great number to see on the scales today. Have been using mfp for last couple of weeks to track and doing yoga and c25k (again!). Hopefully get down to 12.8 by 1st July.

NerrSnerr · 01/06/2020 18:29

I'm back after a couple of months off, larger than ever but really need to do this! None of my clothes fit me and I need to sort myself out.

1st June weight- 12stone 6
30th June goal 11stone 13
End goal 9 stone.

Ecci · 01/06/2020 18:44

Hi all, I've been lurking in a dark corner for most of May. Despite that, I've managed to lose 4.6 lbs, so really pleased. My BMI is now 29.6, so I'm no longer obese, just overweight, for the first time for many years.
Start weight 15 st 12.4 lbs
1st June weight 12 st 10.6 lbs
30th June target 12 St 5 lbs.
Well done to all you lovely losers, even a small amount is a triumph (I only lost 0.2 lbs in December!) and good luck to all new joiners.

OffToSingapore · 01/06/2020 19:16

I'd like to join please. I had a failed attempt at doing this a couple of months ago (I can never last more than a few days on a low calorie diet). I've now been doing the 16:8 diet for the last week, which is incredibly easy to stick to, and I'm walking six miles a day. I'm confident I can keep this up for the next month so I'll give this challenge another go.

Realistically I'm looking at a loss of 4lbs, as I have a calorie deficit of roughly 500 a day, but if I could even achieve that I'd be delighted. Also that would put me in the 'healthy' BMI category which would be nice. I've been stuck around the 12 stone mark for years now and I've had enough of it.

Height: 5 foot 8
Starting weight: 11 stone 13lbs
Target weight (by 30/06): 11 stone 9 lbs

Good luck everyone. I love seeing the progress pictures, I'll have to take some 'before' photos of myself tonight Smile

MonicaBingaling · 01/06/2020 23:59

Thanks @cricketmum84 for the new thread and well done on your incredible losses! Your before and after pics are amazing!

Hey to everyone and welcome all new people ❤️

Although I was really happy with my progress in May of losing 7lbs, I know my weight loss has slowed right down so I’m aiming for a 1 pound loss per week so aiming for 4lbs which I feel is realistic for me!

Well see what happens

Mimishimi · 02/06/2020 06:54

Hi, I would love to join. I've just started a Youtube/Instagram weightloss vlog and have lost 3.8kg in the last month (just over 8lb). My current weight as of Sunday is 68 kg and my BMI is 25.3. My short term goal is to get fit by my 44th birthday in September (normal BMI of 24.5) and long term goal is to get to my ideal weight as definted by all the BME/TDEE calculators by my 45th birthday (between 54-59kg - 119-130lbs)

HundredYearOldMan · 02/06/2020 08:30

Weigh day today, I seem to have put on 2lbs which I hope is a temporary glitch! I definitely haven’t overeaten to the tune of 2lbs.

I best get back to calorie counting properly and hopefully it will come off by next week.

Smarshian · 02/06/2020 08:52

I’m going to be weighing daily as I find it helps me to keep my focus and I sometimes find that weigh day once a week I may have bloating etc which leads to an inflated number and demotivates me. Weighed in today after 2 days and 1.5lb down already. Great start, some will probably be water weight, but still nice to see a difference, especially as it puts me in a new stone bracket. Just hoping I can keep up my momentum.

cricketmum84 · 02/06/2020 09:19

Morning all!

@HundredYearOldMan I am also a mysterious 2lbs up this morning! Absolutely no idea why as I've eaten nothing but fruit and salad! I'm going to put it down as a blip and not weigh now until Saturday.

@Smarshian I do love a new stone bracket :)

Welcome @Mimishimi

Thanks @MonicaBingaling :) even my DH (who is rubbish at compliments) said I looked a million times slimmer when I had got changed into my new summery stuff!

Welcome @OffToSingapore sounds like you have a good plan in place ;)

Welcome back from lurking @NerrSnerr and @Ecci ❤️ lovely to see you again!

Welcome @DennySaid

Lovely to see you back @Tryingtwo. Not liking the sound of the rear end clean up 😂😂 hope dgs is back to normal very soon!

So plan for today is:
B - melon and 1 slice granary bread (not together 😂)
L - Apple and grapes
D - omelette

Looks like this might be our last sunny day for a little while so would be nice to be able to finish my working day out in the garden.

Hope everyone has a good day. Onwards and downwards!

Hello, I'm a day late but please could I join? I had a baby 12 weeks ago and lost a little initially but still a stone up from when I got pregnant and I was a stone up then from IVF drug's (or the food! More likely). I have myself 3 months and now from June I'm aiming to lose 7lb a month so this fits me perfectly this thread does 😊

I'm currently 11stone 9lb which is the heaviest I have ever been (was 8 stone in my 20s)! My aim is 11stone 2lb by July but would love to be under 11stone if possible. My ultimate target is around 9stone if possible. Eventually. I've cut carbs as this worked for me in the past (however I was a very active 19 year old student 🙄) and I'm workout out with HIIT each day (although still taking that easy post pregnancy and I haven't had a 6 week check due to corona!).

Hoping when I want to reach for biscuits I will think of you guys and letting myself down and keep going!

GetTheStartyParted · 02/06/2020 10:00

Morning everyone!

Welcome @Ginandtonic31 congrats on the birth of your baby! Be kind to yourself and remember your body is healing still. It sounds like you have a good plan in place.

I'm going to invade my DSis's garden for a picnic today, DS hasn't seen his cousins for so long, he will be thrilled. I have a chicken salad packed and ready, and some strawberries and cream.

Had to laugh, I have baked keto alternatives to some things in the past, such as scones and brownies. My mum messaged me and asked what cakes I am allowed as she is buying some from the local bakery on her way to my sister's. Very kind mum, but no cakes allowed Grin

SconNotScone · 02/06/2020 10:06

Morning all!

I have done an abs/arms 20 min video on youtube this morning, 15-20 mins feels so do-able, hopefully will keep it up each day.

I’ve decided not to weigh so many times this week too @cricketmum84 - Friday or Saturday seems like a good point in the week to check in and try to rectify things if they look like they’re going wrong! 😅

No breakfast for me this morning. I do feel hungry, but I like holding off until lunch as it means I can allow myself something slightly bigger for lunch, that will keep me going without a snack until dinner. We have fish cakes for dinner tonight, will have a small number of new potatoes and some veg. I think I might make an omelette for lunch.

Feeling good day, I ordered some denim shorts online in the next size down (I hate hate hate buying shorts, it’s always an ordeal, so I didn’t hold out much hope). Anyway, they fit! In fact, they are marginally too much (although the next size down would be far too small I’m sure). I am amazed that two pairs fitted, just like that!

Ginandtonic31 · 02/06/2020 11:00

@GetTheStartyParted I do sometimes forget that I should be healing but without my check I've no idea if I'm making myself worse 😞 nice to see someone else doing Keri. Strawberries/raspberries and cream are my favourite go to dessert

Tryingtwo · 02/06/2020 13:34

Afternoon all, I braved the scales and wished I hadn't. A gain of 7lbs since 1st May! I'm hoping that most of it will disappear just as quickly as it went on. Kept my calories to 1242 yesterday and went for a walk for the first time in over a week so hopefully I will be back in the 11's soon. I know it's probably unrealistic but I will aim for 11st 10lbs by 30th June which is 9lbs but I will revise if the 7lb gain is not as cooperative at going away as I hope.
Dgs2 is slowly getting over the upset tummy, he is fine in himself but is still pooping a lot, I won't horrify you with any more detail than that Smile

Irishstout · 02/06/2020 13:38

Yesterday was pretty good 14k steps and 20k on the stationary bike. Small chests in the form of 2 chocolate digestives

Hoping for similar achievements today. Minus the digestives Grin

Onesmallstep67 · 02/06/2020 14:33

Happy Tuesday everyone. Going to try to keep posting to keep my focus and to feel a degree of accountability.
Almost 2lbs drop from yesterday's weight. TOTM is proving pretty draining so some of that loss is either water I was holding onto in the lead up or a bit of a false loss. Hopefully it will stay off, end of the week might be a more accurate picture.

ishouldtryabiteachday · 02/06/2020 18:19

I'm joining again, but forgot to weigh in on the 31st May on old thread and again on the 1st and today Blush so will stick with my once a week Thursday weigh ins.

Think I did 5 lbs last month so hope for 7 lbs this .. a bad cheat moment yesterday, but pulled it back for the rest of the day and avoided a donut today. Good luck everyone.

edwardson · 02/06/2020 20:37

Love everyone's progress photos - amazing work!!

I weighed in at .8 less this morning at 9st13.2. Nice to see the 9s again for the first time in a while - think largely down to stress as I've spectacularly failed at being mobile. Have mostly been tied to my desk for two days.

Managed a gentle head-clearing walk (instead of planned jog - whoops) had a smoothie for lunch and very tempted to eat my weight in pasta this evening. I'll let you know if I succeed in avoiding that temptation!

Dk20 · 02/06/2020 20:44

Hi all, can I join please? The positivity of a thread like this is just what i need Grin

Had a baby last June so put on weight with the pregnancy, then put on even more weight when I got PND and had to go on anti depressants, then put on even more weight when I came off the anti depressants and comfort ate instead Blush

I decided to start eating healthy a few weeks ago, have lost half a stone since then and weighed 14 stone yesterday. Another half a stone off this month would be great.
