Thank you @Hollyhead and @jessjonesjumps!

It definitely seems like something's in the water this week with people hitting a mental slump. Been for a long walk this morning and little one actually napped for an hour. He seems to have forgotten he's only 15 months and dropped his nap for the last 2 weeks!

Definitely cleared my head and put my motivation back up

cricketmum84 · 19/06/2020 13:18

Same here. I've been eating really well, lots of fruit and veg, minimal carbs but my weight has been up and down like a flipping yo-yo this week! God only know what the scales will have to say tomorrow morning.... certainly don't see me hitting the half stone this month.

So far today I've just had a Kenco iced coffee sachets and planning a quorn mince Bolognese this evening with wholewheat spaghetti which is point free.

@recklessgran have a wonderful time with your amazing DD. Please let her know how thankful we all are for everything she has done over the last few months ❤️

@WhatALearningCurve I've been there and I know how hard it is in normal life but can't imagine during all of this. I was a single parent with DD1 from pregnancy until she was 3 when I met now DH. It's hard. Be kind to yourself, practise self care while LO is sleeping, baths, face masks, calming me-time wherever you can! Huge kudos to you!

Congrats to Mr Crivit :)

@GetTheStartyParted kept brownie looks AMAZING!

Quick check in and sorry for being MIA but work has gone crazy the last ten days

Weight bobbing around a bit and currently at 74.2 so think I’ve lost about half a kg in June. Will be happy from now to STS for a bit, but lowest weight this month 73.7 so would ideally like to get back down to that if I can.

Dp is same and his weight is hovering around 80kg.

Does anyone have any tips for losing when you're already lost a fair bit? Dp says his loss is now 3 stone. I’m thinking kg and think I’ve lost 14 kg - but just seem to be plateauing now?

MonicaBingaling · 20/06/2020 11:28

Morning everyone, I weighed today and seem to of plateaued this week as the scales haven’t moved

I’m 10st 7 and a half

I’m pleased to of come so far as I started at 11st 10 but frustrated I’m now stuck any tips welcome

Hope even has a good weekend xx

Onceuponatimethen · 20/06/2020 12:05

@MonicaBingaling snap me too!! I’m wondering about trying
OMAD but also worried about getting ratty which wouldn’t help with looking after the kids

Onceuponatimethen · 20/06/2020 12:06

Should have said @MonicaBingaling that’s a great loss already!!

MonicaBingaling · 20/06/2020 12:21

@Onceuponatimethen it’s so frustrating isn’t it!

I couldn’t do OMAD I’d get too hungry. I might up my calories a bit and up exercise for maybe a week and then drop again see if that does anything.

Onceuponatimethen · 20/06/2020 13:31

That’s an interesting idea! I just don’t get why my scales are not going down as in the last week I’ve walked 8 miles once, 7 miles another time and not eaten much more than usual - so strange!!

Hollyhead · 20/06/2020 13:39

I think sometimes you just have to stick with the plan, drink more water do a bit more exercise and wait another week or so - I’d say a true plateau would be 3 weeks with no progress not 1. Maybe tweek a few portions down? Do an extra big exercise - or add in a 15 minute power walk around the block or something every day? Over a week that would be nearly 2 hours extra exercise.

MonicaBingaling · 20/06/2020 14:13

@Onceuponatimethen same, I’ve worked really hard this week, not slipped up on diet once and been doing my usual exercise 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hope like you said @Hollyhead it’s not a true plateau.

Will see what happens this week

recklessgran · 20/06/2020 16:46

Afternoon all. I'm stuck too but I've only got myself to blame as I'm struggling to stick to the Keto way of eating. I'm trying to get back in the mindset to crack on with it but life keeps getting in the way [Excuses!]. My weight is the same as at the start of the month at 12st 1lb. I'm really disappointed with myself and need to work hard in this final week to get myself back into the 11's. Come on girls - we can do this together and just need to focus on the end goal!

Onceuponatimethen · 20/06/2020 19:43

I think you are right @recklessgran and I’ve just slipped and eaten two Cornettos! As my Nan would have said that won’t catch any rabbits!!

Onceuponatimethen · 20/06/2020 19:43

We CAN do it! Determined to have a better eating day tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

TheStirrer · 20/06/2020 21:03

Glad it’s not just me find it tough at the moment. It’s like I’ve got diet fatigue! Just would like a week where I don’t have to think about what I put in my gob......

JessJonesJumps · 20/06/2020 23:25

Well, I've had a trinity of treats today - crisps, cake and chips. Plus a G&T. And I'm not even sure I'm finished yet.
If my weight is going to sts this month, I decided I might as well have a day of eating whatever I want.

cricketmum84 · 21/06/2020 07:45

Very quick check in from me. Me and the scales are not friends right now and I haven't weighed today.

Currently laid in bed trying to sip water after being up most of the night with the most vile stomach bug ever. I feel absolutely drained and don't think I'll even keep this down.

Hopefully will be back later today to read through the posts properly.

sorry to hear this @cricketmum84 stomach bugs are the absolute worst Sad

Hope you will feel better ASAP xxxx

recklessgran · 22/06/2020 07:34

Morning all -today is my weigh day and I am exactly 12 stone. That's a gain of a quarter of a pound since last week and means that my total loss for June so far is a pathetic 0.75lbs. Right, it's going to be a big effort from me this week to get off the naughty step and properly in to the 11's. Finally.
@cricketmum84 sorry you're not well - I hope you're feeling better today.
Beautiful sunshine here so hoping to spend some time in the garden.
Have a good day all.

MonicaBingaling · 22/06/2020 07:38

Morning everyone, weighed in at 10st 7 and a quarter so only a small loss of 3 quarters of a pound which is a bit annoying as I’ve worked so hard but I’m going to keep going If I can

On the Positive side I tried on some jeans last night that used to be so tight and they went on so easy!

Starting weight 11st 10
Current weight 10st 7

So a 5lb loss for June so far.

GetTheStartyParted · 22/06/2020 07:48

Morning, weigh in day here too. 1lb lost this week so I am now in the 11's! 🎉 Only lost 4lb so far this month, was hoping for more but hormones are still all over the place.

Good luck @recklessgran for a positive week.

Well done @MonicaBingaling great progress.

@cricketmum84 really hope you're feeling better today Flowers

WhatALearningCurve · 22/06/2020 08:34

Morning all.

11 st 1.5 this morning. 0.25 loss. But I slipped again on Saturday and get another takeaway so I'm happy with that.

(Less happy about the fact my scales put me as 11 0.7 at first - I must have stood on them too soon)

Got a fresh food delivery arriving today. I forgot to order last week and I think that's why I struggled because I was having to think about what to eat. Determined to stick to it this week. A 2lb loss this week would give me my 7lb for the week and put my in the 10's.

Congrats to anyone who's lost.

To those who sts or gained. Last week seemed to be tough on everyone. This weeks a new week and the weather is supposed to be gorgeous so hopefully that will aid all our motivation levels!

WhatALearningCurve · 22/06/2020 08:38

Oh I've also got a Protein World delivery coming. Their shakes fill me up loads more than any other breakfast. Ran out last week so was just starving every day by lunchtime which was leading to hanger and bad decisions!

Ecci · 22/06/2020 09:18

WI today, 12 St 9.2 lbs. That's only 1.6 down for June so far, bit disappointing this week as I've stuck to plan except for 2 chocolate raisins on Friday evening - I know how to indulge myself! I need to lose anther 2.2 lbs to meet my June target. Fingers crossed. We'll done to all who've lost or St's this week. KOKO

Hollyhead · 22/06/2020 09:20

Morning everyone !

@cricketmum84 hope you're feeling better today, stomach bugs are rotten.

@MonicaBingaling 3/4 pound is still good progress - keep up the good work and you might get a bigger loss soon!

@WhatALearningCurve that sounds like a good plan, I always find slip ups best dealt with by coming up with a good plan to get back on track.

@GetTheStartyParted well done on a new 'bracket'! 4lb with over a week to go is still really good!

I weighed this morning and have lost again - 0.7kg this time, taking me up to 1.3kg overall since starting. I'm really pleased with this after initial slow progress. Hoping to get to 2kg off for the month which will get me on track to lose the other 2kg of lockdown load in July. I've tried to be sensible this weekend too - still eased up a bit but not in the same way, for instance we had pizza one night and instead of the whole thing I had half and then a load of salad. I'm also trying to stick to just 1-2 glasses of wine... failed a bit on that this weekend! Never mind, onwards and upwards. Plan for today is scrambled egg and smoked salmon and yogurt and berries as my 'daytime food' then a sensible dinner tonight.

Good luck and well done everyone!

crivit · 22/06/2020 10:29

I'm another who hasn't done too well... Up again this morning at 67.8kg which is silly. We did go out for a celebratory dinner on Saturday night which involved pudding and 2 glasses of wine but it was a silly busy day of walking - 25km with half of that being a hike! My shoulder is feeling almost better now so this morning I reintroduced a little extra cardio and will plan on weights again from next week to go with the yoga.

Well done to everyone who has lost or stayed the same. To the rest of us, staying too long on a naughty step will lead to a terribly numb bum so onwards and downwards we shall go this week 😁

@cricketmum84 - hope you're feeling better today!
