Thanks for all the good luck messages for my exams, they’re all done now but I’m dreading stepping back on the scales again on Monday!

Well done everyone that has lost weight and congrats @Vebrithien on your gorgeous addition! Flowers

Onceuponatimethen · 13/06/2020 16:13

@recklessgran I sympathise! LOVE toast and my dm makes the most amazing home made bread which doesn’t help usually . Sadly not had any since the lockdown but has defo helped me reduce my toast intake

SconNotScone · 14/06/2020 08:35

Morning all! Congratulations @Vebrithien, hope little Edward is doing ok!

I think I might need to accept that my body has reached the point it’s happy at, and just work at maintaining rather than losing for the time being! I’m happy at the weight I’ve reached, and I actually don’t think 3-4 more pounds is going to make any difference to my shape. Going to try and focus on the exercise now, and eagerly await the gym safely reopening, so I can do some proper weights work!

Anyway, it’s my husband’s birthday today. Have attached a pic of the cake me and DD made, I am definitely planning to indulge! You’re a better woman than me @cricketmum84 if you managed to avoid your daughter’s delicious looking cake!

My goodness @SconNotScone That is a very professional looking cake! Very impressed!

Just weighed and despite doing a 6 mile walk yesterday weight has gone up .6 kg Grin To be fair I did have an enormous curry take away yesterday but surely the 6 miles has to count for something Grin

Onceuponatimethen · 14/06/2020 08:43

Morning everyone - hope everyone has a great Sunday

JessJonesJumps · 14/06/2020 08:52

Happy birthday MrScon ! The cake looks fab!
Weight sts. I seem to be struggling to lose this month. OMAD today but I'm having a Zoom call with friends tonight so there will definitely be G&(slimline) Ts.

Onceuponatimethen · 14/06/2020 09:37

That sounds good @JessJonesJumps - mental well-being vital for weight loss focus so g and T’s are an important part of the diet!!

recklessgran · 14/06/2020 09:56

Morning all, waving to you from the naughty step. Sigh. Toast was consumed again last night. And sweets. Weight STS since Monday's weigh in. I'm going to be lucky not to show a gain when I weigh in the morning.
Crumbs @SconNotScone that cake looks AMAZING! Happy Birthday to Mr Scon and I hope you all enjoy the beautiful cake.
I will try to OMAD again today in the hope of pulling something back in time to redeem myself. Roast beef dinner then without the roasties and Yorkshires. Hope everyone is doing O.K.

cricketmum84 · 14/06/2020 10:07

Morning all! Hope we are all feeling motivated and ready for a super Sunday!

@recklessgran toastgate is making me laugh (and also crave buttery toast). Hopefully you are off the naughty step now?

Happy birthday to MrScon - that cake looks AMAZING!!

Plan for today is OMAD with a couple of fruit snacks. I'm making a big minced beef and onion pie for DH and DD1 and 2 mini quorn mince pies for me and DD2. Serving with a little buttery mash and peas and sweetcorn and veggie gravy :)

DH pissed me off last night. He was making sausage baguettes for him and the kids. DD2 has been vegetarian for about 4 weeks now and he served her meat sausages just because he couldn't be bothered getting an extra pan out to cook a couple of veggie ones for her. Then got annoyed at her when she wouldn't eat them. Bloody lazy and thoughtless!! @recklessgran you got any room under the patio???

Bold fail and cross post sorry!

@cricketmum84 - Not sure about the patio. I've shoved DH under there several times in the last three months. Actually I've had an idea, how big is your DH? I 've got another smaller patio down the bottom of the garden - it's not very big but it's a sun trap so he could be fried down there if you like. That'll teach him! Let me know what you think and I'll send DH down there and he can start digging since I'm stuck here on the naughty step.

Onesmallstep67 · 14/06/2020 11:30

Naughty step making me chuckle. I admire those of you following a very low carb diet. I would definitely struggle.
Finally dropped a lb so that is 3 for the month so far. Maybe I can shift another in the next few days ??
Have a lovely day everyone
@SconNotScone, fantastic cake. CakeSmile

Ecci · 14/06/2020 19:47

WI tomorrow but I feel it will show a gain. It was DH's birthday on Thursday and he bought some lovely buffet bits to have a lock down buffet, just us and the dogs (their official birthday too). He got cheese, including a large piece of blue Stilton for me, which I love and very rarely have, so I've been eating it for 4 days. Finished it off at lunchtime with cheese on toast (food of the gods). Got to get back on track tomorrow.

crivit · 14/06/2020 22:35

@Vebrithien - congratulations!

@Onceuponatimethen - I feel your pain there. 10k hike yesterday (plus more than 90 minutes of yoga) and today I was the heaviest I've been in over 5 weeks - 67.4kg. I have been stress eating this week but still that's rude. Lovely views on the hike though and a fairly gentle intro to the new club.

@cricketmum84 - not surprised you were pissed off at him! Hope he's apologised since.

Onthebrink67 · 15/06/2020 07:24

1.5lb in for me today. Not over surprised as had a terrible weekend but need to get in it this week. @Vebrithien lovely picture congratulations.

cricketmum84 · 15/06/2020 07:31

STS for me this morning - happy with that after I joined Reckless on the naughty step yesterday with an entire share bag of hot and spicy Cheetos. Just couldn't stop eating them.

Plan for today is / be mindful about water intake. I haven't been drinking anywhere near enough for the last week or so.

Asparagus and dry fried duck egg late morning if I can fit it between meetings. Dinner is baked sweet potato with some leftover quorn chilli.

Happy Monday everyone!

2.8lb off this week - have done loads of walking and consumed gallons of water 😂
I decided yesterday I'd had a good week so I would have a treat of a twirl - it wasn't worth it 😕 I tried to savour the chocolate but it was bland and greasy - very disappointing.
Good luck everyone this week xx

Dk20 · 15/06/2020 07:40

I'm up this week aswell, by 2lb. Had an almighty fail this weekend - a combination of ds turning 1 on Saturday and dp returning to work away from home again this morning left me emotional with too much cake etc around.
I need to lose this weight though so will get back on track. Thinking of getting a rowing machine so that I'll be able to do a bit of exercise every evening. With dbaby going to bed at 6pm and dp working away from home, the evenings are going to be long again and I need a way to fill them.

recklessgran · 15/06/2020 07:45

Morning all, waving from the naughty step.
Last week 11st 13.5 lbs
Today 11st 13.75 lbs.
Not surprisingly a quarter of a pound gain for me. To be honest I'm amazed to have stayed in the 11's given my misbehaviour this week. @Cricketmum84 I'll shove up so you can join me on the naughty step but like to think that your stay will be shorter than mine! Today probably won't be very good as I'm helping my bestie move house - she lost her DH 3 years ago and has struggled ever since. She is downsizing from her home of 40 years so I'm handholding/cleaning etc. Baguettes are on the lunch menu and probably chippie dinner tonight. Oh dear. I'm writing today off and will make a fresh start tomorrow in the hope of redeeming myself by the end of the month. I've only lost a pound so far in June but keeping a positive outlook at least it's a loss. KOKO everyone!

WhatALearningCurve · 15/06/2020 08:11

Morning!

11stone 1.75 this morning! A loss of 2.75lb this week (really bugged by that 0.25 that would have given me a 3lb loss ha)

I'm so happy with this though. I was only expecting a tiny loss this week so this was a great surprise.

1lb away from my 7lb target this month so would LOVE it if I can end the month starting in the 10's

Irishstout · 15/06/2020 08:46

12st10lb this morning! So a 2lb loss this week. I am super chuffed as I've had a really hit and miss week with eating an exercising. I am feeling more motivated than I have been in ages.

Well done everyone on their losses, it's a new week to see the scales move.

@SconNotScone that cake looks amazing

Ecci · 15/06/2020 09:36

1.6 lbs increase from last week. I knew I'd been eating too much cheese, due to DH having a birthday. Must get back on track now the cheese is all gone. Well done to all the losers and STSers, and commiserations to those like me.

SconNotScone · 15/06/2020 09:54

Morning all!! Fellow gainer over here, I’m up 1.25lb this week! Hardly surprising given the volume of food that’s passed my lips this week! Thank you for the cake love, I can confirm it was bloody delicious, and definitely worth the gain 😂

Congrats to those who have lost (some really impressive numbers this week, well done!) and also anyone who has stayed the same, which is an achievement in itself.

Right, let’s see what this week brings!

Hollyhead · 15/06/2020 09:54

Hi everyone, well done on the losses. Tuesday is my weigh in so I am going to be super good today - I've already done a 4mile walk!

I need to up my water intake though, and I need to carry on making sensible choices, I actually did quite well over the weekend - I had cauliflower instead of rice with my curry, limited wine etc. I just don't feel like I've lost much yet to be honest. Still the key is consistency, must not give up now!

GetTheStartyParted · 15/06/2020 10:12

Morning all, well done for the losses and glad those that haven't lost seem positive and happy anyway. Seems that cake and toast is good for the soul Grin

I've lost 1lb this week so I'm now 12st... I will be in the 11's next week! TOTM should have started a few days ago so I'm surprised I lost any weight.
