Sts here but since I had cake and G&Ts last night, I'm happy with that. I'm snowed under with work today so missed my morning yoga. I'll try to squeeze it in later but we're suppose to be getting new furniture delivered so I'm not sure how much time I'm going to have.
It's our last week of school here so I'm trying to work out what to do for presents for teachers. Does anyone have any inspiring suggestions? I'm thinking some kind of email voucher might be best since they're mainly WFH.

MonicaBingaling · 15/06/2020 14:32

Afternoon all, just checking in. Lost almost 2lbs so I’m happy with that. TOTM is finally completely over and bloatings gone thankfully

@SconNotScone that cake omg 😍😍😍

Wineloffa · 15/06/2020 15:33

Can I please join? I lost 7lbs before lockdown and have put 5 back on.

Current weight 9st 5, height 5ft 1.

I’d love to be back to below 9 stone. Wine is one of my biggest downfalls! I’m logging everything on MFP (1200 calories per day) and I’ve recently started running 5k three times a week. However running makes more really hungry so not sure this is helping! Trying to hit 10,000 steps a day but struggling to achieve this thanks to lockdown..

TheStirrer · 15/06/2020 17:19

Well 2.75lbs off for me this week and 4.5lbs for the month so far.

However I need to ask @recklessgran & @cricketmum84 to budge up on the naughty step Blush. Have fallen off the wagon spectacularly today and scoffed so much - can’t remember the last time I did thatSad.

Going to climb back on the wagon nowAnd treat myself with a cup of tea (no more biscuits!!!) .....

Well done to all the losers, stayed the same or commiseraters - we can do this!

Hollyhead · 16/06/2020 06:56

Morning, my official weigh day and I've lost another 0.2kg wow don't all marvel at once! Grin

Still, this takes me to 0.5kg overall which is over 1lb, I think I'm struggle to make the half a stone for the month but if I could loose another kg I'd be happy.

Plan for today is to stick with 1200 calories, I have nice salad ingredients in so this should be ok.

Welcome @Wineloffa I've been trying to increase my step count too - it is hard when there's nowhere to go!

@TheStirrer @MonicaBingaling great results well done :)

Onesmallstep67 · 16/06/2020 10:18

Morning everyone. Another 1lb off so edging slowly back towards where I was at the start of March. It was scary how quickly I regained over a stone and a half in a matter of weeks once I was stuffing my face morning, noon and night.
It's probably coincidence that I have lost a couple of pounds in the last few days but I have started drinking green tea. Only one or two a day but it has been linked to aiding fat loss so I will keep it up. I'm not usually a fan of these kind of drinks but it actually hardly tastes of anything and is quite refreshing.
Keep up the good work losers Halo

recklessgran · 16/06/2020 16:32

Afternoon all. Back on the wagon I hope. Long day yesterday with the friend's move. Completion didn't happen until 5.00pm so big rush thereafter to get in. The chippie tea didn't happen because of that which was probably a good thing. Anyway, bit knackered today but will be having salad tonight for dinner in my quest to get off the naughty step. Hope everyone O.K.

JessJonesJumps · 16/06/2020 20:08

Ah, I've stolen your seat reckless. I went for a long walk last night but I think I need an attitude reset. I think I have a bad case of end-of-termitis

SultanasofPing · 16/06/2020 20:33

Squidge up on the naughty step and make room for one more rather large one.
Eldest ordered Domino's for tea tonight as a celebration and quite a lot fell in my mouth.... Repeatedly.... Plus garlic bread..... And a cookie
sigh back on the wagon tomorrow......

HundredYearOldMan · 17/06/2020 01:30

Forgot to update this morning...or yesterday morning now! Can’t sleep so I’m up late. Half a pound off this week so down to 14.5.5

Happy to have something off!

StudentHelp · 17/06/2020 10:37

Weighed on Monday and had gained 1.2lbs throughout exams but it was also TOTM.
Today I’ve lost 0.7 of those lbs so only half a lb up now.

Been eating loads of shit recently though and hardly exercising so feel shitty

cricketmum84 · 17/06/2020 17:50

Really sorry guys, I've just had the busiest 2 days with work and barely had a minute to myself!

I'm up 1lb today but it's ok as I had half a takeaway chickpea and potato curry last night so I think it's a case of salty and fatty food causing a temporary gain. More water and salad needed and I'll be back down again.

Hope everyone is doing ok. Back to proper updates tomorrow morning but I've got to get back to work now and the other half of the takeaway curry!

Hi all. Oh dear. Staying on the naughty step. My weight is up. It's now the same as 1st June - 12 st 0.75lbs. I've given myself a monumental talking to. Need to focus now as I really wanted to reach my goal weight this month of 11st 10lbs. That is looking most unlikely, however, I'm in the mindset that at the moment any loss will do! I have no idea why I keep falling off the wagon - biscuits this time - pink wafers AND digestives fgs!

JessJonesJumps · 17/06/2020 18:54

@SultanasofPing now I want a Dominos' cookie ...Sad

Snowed under with work here so I'm completely stressed, eating rubbish and not exercising.

At this rate, we're going to need a double-decker naughty couch like the one from the Lego Movie.

crivit · 17/06/2020 23:30

A squeak down this morning at 66.8kg albeit still up from the start of the month. Still doing too much emotional eating but also still keeping up with my daily yoga and cycled to work, back and a bit more today.

Looks like it's a tough month for a lot of us!

Hollyhead · 18/06/2020 07:33

Morning everyone, I managed to stay on track yesterday and did a walk. I think I'm now in the PMS phase of the month so I need to try and not get despondent if the loss stalls - I keep telling myself the post period loss will be way better if I can keep sensible during TOTM!

cricketmum84 · 18/06/2020 09:31

Morning all!

Have given myself a big talking to and feel back on track. Had a bit of a bust up with DD1(15) last night as she is outright refusing any home learning and just staying in bed until 4 every day so I went out at 9pm to the field next door and had a walk around with the horses and a few little head pats with a friendly one and I felt much better and more in control of myself.

Plan for today is
Am - tinned grapefruit. I ordered 4 tins in my click and collect shopping yesterday as I read they are really good for weight loss!
Lunch - if I'm hungry after all the grapefruit! Half pack of vegan "chicken" tikka with salad
Dinner - 2 LM sausages, 2 dry fried duck eggs, asparagus and tomatoes

Heads up ladies we can do this!!!

Evening all, hope you're all OK. @cricketmum84 I feel your pain, my DS is 11 and struggling to feel motivated. He's up around 6.30am everyday though and its a long day to fill without being stuck in front of a screen so I insist on some work but don't worry too much about the content. Trying to get him to learn new things seems to make him worry about getting it wrong and he cries! 15 is a difficult age without all of this Flowers

I'm still plodding along here. Ready for a normal nights sleep! Still starting work at 3am and the 2am alarm is wearing thin. I'm so glad I only work 3 or 4 days a week!

I've just had salt and pepper chicken with mushrooms, beansprouts, onion, pepper and barenaked noodles for dinner, it was lovely. Followed by a keto brownie with extra thick cream. TOTM here so sticking to keto but cutting myself a but of slack.

dobbyssoc · 18/06/2020 20:16

I lost 1lb this week. I need to do better again last month I was loosing 3lbs a week 🙈
Struggling these last few weeks with motivation!

crivit · 18/06/2020 22:53

A bigger squeak down but still just trying to lose what I regained in the last couple of weeks. Was at 66.5kg this morning. Not too shabby a day food wise although I did have an unexpected bit of extra bread this evening as my partner couldn't resist getting a lovely dark crust for me.

In other news said bread buying partner also signed a new work contract today 😁
Financially we have still taken a hit but things will hopefully ease over the coming months.

WhatALearningCurve · 19/06/2020 07:55

Morning all.

Had a tough week - single mum to a 1 year old and this week has just been mentally exhausting - even when he's slept through I've woken up exhausted.

Tuesday I got myself chippy for the first time since lockdown. I spent all day weighing it up and decided any weight gain would be worth it to make 1 day just feel slightly different from all the others.

It definitely was worth it but I woke up yesterday slightly heavier than Monday and mentally having one of the worst days I've had so far.

However - stuck to calories and went & socially distanced at my mums so that cheered me right up. Woke up this morning feeling so much better and weighing in less than Monday's weigh in so I'm back on the right curve. (0.25 less but every little helps!)

I'm supposed to be doing Zoom drinks tonight for my friends birthday, I'll join but might not drink. Going to be strict with myself over the next few days with calories and hopefully can at least lose 1lb this week

recklessgran · 19/06/2020 09:24

Morning all. Sorry to all those struggling. @cricketmum84 so sorry about DD1 and your upset. If it helps, my understanding from DD3 [Assistant Head] is that schools currently aren't exactly teaching the curriculum so as not to disadvantage those who can't/won't learn remotely. I'm a bit of a softie but I think I'd pick my hill to die on and pretend we'd already broken up for summer. I have nothing but admiration for all of you who are coping with kids, not to mention work at the moment.
O.K. well my weight has sts and I'm STILL on the naughty step eating toast and biscuits. I've had a horrible couple of days as my e-mail was hacked and my account was suspended due to the security breach which has caused no end of problems workwise etc. I have been so stressed which is very unusual for me. Well, at least I now know that I'm definitely an emotional eater! I've been horrible and snappy too. Anyway, I need to pull myself together as my darling DD4 is coming home today for the weekend. We haven't seen her since February. She is now off the Covid wards where she was redeployed at the beginning of this and back where she belongs on trauma. She's been on A/L and isolating so she knows she's Covid free. We reckon now is the safest it's going to be for some time for her to visit. There will be tears - I'm welling up thinking about it. Foodwise she is getting what is known here as "the big roast beef dinner" which is our family's hug on a plate and I am jolly well going to enjoy it!

JessJonesJumps · 19/06/2020 10:14

I typed a big long post and lost it which just about sums up this week ...Hmm
Reading all your posts made me feel quite emotional. This has been such a difficult time in so many ways but you are all amazing, strong and capable!
Flowers for @cricketmum84 I can't imagine how difficult it is trying to motivate a 15-yr-old. FWIW our school is saying only a tiny fraction are engaging with online learning so don't be too hard on yourself or her.
Flowers for reckless and recklessDD please thank her on our behalf. We are so grateful for her work and sacrifice.
@WhatALearningCurve have the drinks, enjoy the celebration! 🥂
@crivit congrats to your DP on his new contract! What a relief! DH is in the midst of negotiating contracts atm and I can't wait till everything is completed.
I haven't weighed today. The scales are climbing higher every day and even though we have been out walking, it seems to have no impact on my weight.

ishouldtryabiteachdayy · 19/06/2020 10:19

Checking in a bit late forgot to weigh myself on my weigh in day of Thursday.

Down just 1 this week so at 10 stone 3 .. rolling to goal I hope of 10 stone by they end of the month ?! So many cheats this week, the usual suspects flapjacks and birthday cake. I'm weak but want to loose more mum tum. Think I will lower my goal weigh as still loads of mars bar flab left.

Hollyhead · 19/06/2020 10:34

Morning all, I did an extra weigh today and I’m going to log it anyway as it shows good progress - down 0.6kg which is 1.1kg overall! I’m not expecting to make this month’s full 3kg but feel more optimistic that 2kg might now be possible. Homemade pizzas for us tonight so I’m trying to stay on track today - yoghurt and a handful of sultanas for breakfast, then plan is to have egg salad for lunch. And stick to 1 glass of wine only!

Flowers for all who are finding anything tricky, but @WhatALearningCurve 1 year olds are often tiring and tricky so parenting on your own during lockdown gets a special well done from me 🙂
