Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

1lb off for me this week. That's 6 in total so happy with that. Although it's my sons birthday today, and I will be eating cake!
Well done to everyone for still being here

meow1989 · 07/05/2020 09:08

136.75 today, loss of 3/4lb, il take it! Especially as I weighed on Monday (terrible at waiting a week) and I'd put on after the weekend take away)

overwork · 07/05/2020 09:08

1 lb off for me Grin
It was 1.5lbs yesterday (I doubt anything has really changed), which will teach me to weigh in a day early.
Also enjoying using MFP. I've had it for years so I can see all my weight changes and remember how I felt at the time.

LimeJellyforBrains · 07/05/2020 09:40

And it's 1lb off for me, that's 4 in total, I'm really pleased! Grin

It could definitely have been more - the old snacking whilst cooking in the evening has returned over the last couple of days, I really must try to cook a bit earlier before I get so hungry! Or at least I could cut up an apple before I start shovelling in the pate or brie and crackers...

AutumnNymph · 07/05/2020 09:49

0.5 lbs off for me - not a lot but at least it's going in the right direction.

Minnie123456 · 07/05/2020 10:02

Sts just glad it wasn't a gain. Will hopefully see a loss next week if I can stick to mfp.

lovinglavidaloca · 07/05/2020 10:19

Well done all the losers, STSers and gainers! The main thing is sticking to it no matter what happened on the scales this week.

redavocado · 07/05/2020 10:58

Thanks everyone!

@diege macros are protein, fibre, fat, carbs etc. The bits that make up the calories. If you're only counting calories then a calorie is essentially just a calorie but your body doesn't see it that way. A calorie of protein is obviously better than a calorie of fat or carbs.

tigerbear · 07/05/2020 11:03

Morning all.
Have lost 1lb! Have done low carb for the last week, which always works for me.
Well done everyone!

diege · 07/05/2020 11:05

That's really interesting redavocado. I've always lost weight effectively using the 'high carbs, low fat' principle (remember Susan Powter?) and not eating meat, find that works well for me (ditto green days on SW). Having said that, the pounds are definitely harder to shift these days, so maybe I need to mix things up a bit!
Eeek we need a new thread ASAP!

FreckledLeopard · 07/05/2020 11:11

1lb off, 10 pounds off in total which is good. Just annoying that the first week was such a massive loss and the next two weeks I've barely lost anything. Oh well, it's run 3 of week 5 of C25K later today- 20 minutes running non-stop which will be interesting!

Mediumred · 07/05/2020 11:25

Ooh, two pounds off for me, now 10 stone 4. That’s my first loss, and hardly a big one, but I do feel more in the zone, I’ve been exercising a lot (joe Wickes every other day, running on my other days - just short distances but building up and skipping every day, almost at 15 mins) plus eating more mindfully and even drinking less. I’m back at work tonight and tomorrow and drink/eat when I get home in the early hours due to needing to wind down, be good if I could get out of that bad habit. Well done, everyone, do we need a new thread?

lovinglavidaloca · 07/05/2020 11:54

Brilliant! More losses. You’re all doing so well.

The macro thing scares me because carbs are in everything good Sad

MrsSnitchnose · 07/05/2020 12:34

Well I've been 100% all week and stayed the same. I know I'm heavier because like a few on here, it's AF week. In other news, I managed to get deeper into some of my workout positions today so at least something is improving 😂

redavocado · 07/05/2020 13:23

@lovinglavidaloca they really are! I guess you need some (ideally wholewheat) carbs to get the right amount of fibre but sugar is the real carby enemy and it's just so good! DD and I baked a cake this morning which may have been a mistake...

sushinelove · 07/05/2020 15:01

A pound off, could have been worse so I'm happy enough. Today is officially "all I can eat Thursday" so that pound may just go back on 😂

Fabulodosus · 07/05/2020 15:20

Well done everyone! I'm happy I managed to get to 7lbs total off... bit of a motivator for me esp going in to a 2 day (for me) weekend... can't wait! Enjoy the sunshine and fresh air everyone x

OwlinaTree · 07/05/2020 16:58

Hi all, great losses on here today! Well done guys. I've lost 1lb, which I'm really pleased about. I'm half way to my 1st target now as I wanted to lose 3lb!
