Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

Better day for me yesterday so feeling positive again. Onwards and downwards Grin

Onthebrink67 · 05/05/2020 10:55

Better yesterday-meals weren’t great but no snacks which was my aim. Definitely feeling more positive

cashmerecardigans · 05/05/2020 11:25

Better day for me yesterday too, everyone’s positive comments really helped. Love the fact there’s no judgement on this thread, but only sympathy and support.

lovinglavidaloca · 05/05/2020 11:44

Home schooling today may have me turning to the gin later ... later being after noon Grin

Breakfast here was a Cadbury brunch bar, lunch will be leftover chilli in a wrap possibly with cheese and dinner will be some sort of sesame chicken I think!

Nice weather again here today so kids and I will go a walk later after ‘school’.

diege · 05/05/2020 11:59

So good to read that people are feeling more positive!
Finding it really hard to juggle home schooling with work today! It's so stressful trying to have online team meetings with the worry of interruptions ! Once is 'cute' but then gets embarrassing!
I've had weetabix for breakfast, banana for snack, and think it'll be be beans on toast for lunch. Can't stomach left over curry for lunch and tea!

lovinglavidaloca · 05/05/2020 12:34

Just used 411 calories on lunch and it was worth every one of them Grin

JonHammIsMyJamm · 05/05/2020 12:42

Afternoon all. I’ve had a busy morning catching up in domestic jobs I’ve been studiously ignoring for the week, so that’s kept my mind of snacking. Breakfast was peanut butter on toast and I’ve just had lunch, which was a cheese and mushroom omelette. I should probably have left the cheese off, tbh, but it was very nice. I’ll have the same lunch tomorrow, skip the cheese and save myself a couple of hundred cals. Dinner is spag bol. No snacks. Exercise is a dog walk and playing with him in the garden, plus the pottering around doing domestic stuff.

I am GAGGING for a kitkat though, so I’m going to have a miserable hi-lights hotchocolate to quell the craving. If I give into the kitkat,I’ll end up eating two ‘because they’re only 106 cals each’ Hmm

MrsSnitchnose · 05/05/2020 13:12

Afternoon all Smile So glad people are feeling more positive today. Did my workout with my new heart rate monitor for the first time this morning. Really made a difference and burnt 273 calories in 25 minutes Grin

OwlinaTree · 05/05/2020 14:03

Hi guys, I've had a good start today. Breakfast scrambled eggs, lunch soup and fruit. Weighed in for SW this am and down half a lb, so that's positive.

Went for a run yesterday which was good but got very sore knees today. Might need new trainers.

lovinglavidaloca · 05/05/2020 15:13

Regretting my dinner choice tonight. When I skim read the recipe I didn’t twig it’s to be coated and deep fried so it’s saying it’s over 800 calories per portion including rice! I might need to do some complex calculations on the leftover flour, egg and oil to try and make it lower.

diege · 05/05/2020 16:39

loving whatever your dinner choice is, it sounds amazing! 🤣
I've forced myself to do a workout after 3 days of just doing walks. Never again will I leave it so long! Really felt a lot harder, which is a bit worrying!
Yesterday's veggie curry for tea, and hopefully a walk first with the older DCs.
Nearly Thursday guys!😩

Minnie123456 · 05/05/2020 18:14

So i've re-installed MFP, I need to track my calories as i've no idea how many i'm actually eating.
How does everyone cope with the cravings for sweet stuff? I get a funny feeling in my tummy until I give in to snacking but then feel bad afterwards. I've tried drinking water, eating fruit or trying to do something else but the cravings don't go away.

diege · 05/05/2020 18:51

minnie I still have the sweet stuff (a few biscuits/small slice of cake/choc bar) but have it last thing with a cup of tea (in bed!) It doesn't cancel out the sweet daytime cravings, but knowing I can have my sugar hit later seems to work!

lovinglavidaloca · 05/05/2020 19:09

No reason not to have these things as long as you don’t go overboard!

lovinglavidaloca · 05/05/2020 19:43

My dinner went totally tits up as the chicken wasn’t defrosted so have had a wholemeal bagel with ham and have some calories left for treats too Grin

OwlinaTree · 05/05/2020 19:56

That's a shame loving. We've got stir fry sweet and sour chicken tonight, yum yum.

Minnie123456 · 05/05/2020 22:10

@diege and @lovinglavidaloca I can't seem to stop at one lol one turns into about 8 biscuits lol. I've been quite good today no snacks today apart from a banana and a special k bar and I still have a few calories left.

OwlinaTree · 05/05/2020 22:55

That's good Minnie. I've done well drinking water today I feel. Nice long walk with the family, got my steps in.

AutumnNymph · 06/05/2020 09:02

Hey everyone slides back in quiietly hows everyone doing?

menthollyinsane · 06/05/2020 09:38

@AutumnNymph hi, are you feeling better now? I've had a mixed week food wise. Tomorrow will tell!

OP posts:
AutumnNymph · 06/05/2020 09:55

@menthollyinsane I have been up and down. I am getting used to HRT and I can definitely say it's making me hungrier and sluggish. Miid week weigh in showed that i am stuck at last weeks weight - let's see what tomorrow brings

overwork · 06/05/2020 11:48

I'm so confused with days - I weighed myself today. Couldn't understand why the thread was so quiet this morning. Can't imagine it will make much difference but I will try again tomorrow before I log it!

menthollyinsane · 06/05/2020 11:56

@overwork I struggle with knowing which day it is too. I have to look at my phone!

lovinglavidaloca · 06/05/2020 12:43

I’m so annoyed with myself. I have two types of medication to take and can’t get into a routine with it at all. One I’m worse with than the other and it is one that upsets your stomach when you start taking it so I’m basically doing that every time I remember to take it because my body isn’t used to it anymore and it now means for the whole of today I’ll probably not feel well enough to exercise.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 06/05/2020 13:48

Can you set a reminder alarm on your phone for the same time every day? Or put the medication by your toothbrush or kettle, @lovinglavidaloca? Sorry you’re having a tough day Flowers
