Anyone else been scoffing non stop since lockdown?

Fuck, I've literally ate my way through the last four weeks.

I was already a couple of stone overweight and now I've done loads more damage. All I do is eat and then eat some more.

I'm going to sort my shit out starting tomorrow, anyone else want to join me?

11:10 here, avoided scales since a lockdown but this thread inspired me to face up to it! Another one who was losing baby weight but it’s creeping back on in this lockdown. Want to be 10 stone but first goal is to get a 10 at the start of the number.

cashmerecardigans · 16/04/2020 08:18

Can I join? I am sliding into an awful pattern of mindless snacking, eating rubbish without really noticing. I'm in the healthy weight range but have put in half a stone in the last few weeks and need to stop it getting worse.
Not just the weight, but I'm eating really badly, nowhere near enough fruit and veg, miles too much carbs and sugar.
I'm WFH and it's really thrown me out of kilter.
Just weighed in at 10 stone 3, would like to get back to 9 stone 10,

Onthebrink67 · 16/04/2020 08:21

Can I join? 11 3 this morning. I’d like to be 3 stone less but am aiming for 10 7 as first mini goal. Generally eating too much because I’m WFH and it’s there and I’m missing work chat. First week just aiming to stick to 3 meals a day and once that’s established I will look at portion sizes etc but need to lose snacking habit first

FAQs · 16/04/2020 08:22

Shall we have a weekly weigh in day? I’m going to try and go for a jog again today but also now logging food.

menthollyinsane · 16/04/2020 08:23

Ok so I weigh 11.6 3/4

This is the heaviest that I have ever been, even when pregnant.

I knew that it was going to be bad by the way that my clothes were fitting. I'm totally disgusted with myself right now,

On the plus side, I am now dealing with it, so let's all stick together.

First goal will be 11 stone for me.

I’m also going to do the 8/16 and not eat outside the 8 hour window.

Hileni · 16/04/2020 08:24

15.1½ here.

My target is 12.12 as that will put me in the healthy BMI range for my height!

How much are you all looking to lose each week? I'd like 1½ / 2lb each week.

My plan is intermittent fasting - so essentially skipping breakfast and then stop snacking completely. Have a reduced portion size lunch, so a sandwich and then a healthy dinner, Slimming world recipe ish.

menthollyinsane · 16/04/2020 08:25

@FAQs yes defiantly to a weekly weigh day. Is today, Thursday, ok with all of you?

Everytime I go in the kitchen I take a couple of mint humbugs to chew on, then I find my self going back and getting more plus 2 bliss yoghurts oh and a packet of crisps!!

I'm going for a walk today then going to workout to an utube fitness video

summeryet · 16/04/2020 08:37

Yikes... 13.3 (and a quarter)! Blush keto works for me, so will give that a go!

2beautifulbabs · 16/04/2020 08:50

13.6 stone yikes although I did start off at 13.9 at start of lockdown just got another 3 stone to go I'm defiantly in for weekly weigh in

Mojitomogul · 16/04/2020 08:54

Just weighed in.. I'm 12 stone 1lb :( am 5ft5. Think I have put on about half a stone since lockdown begun as remmeber seeing 11.7 on there. Currently a size 12/14 but love my clothes so still want to fit them :') so looking to loose about 1 and a half stones. If I could get down to 10 and half i would be v happy. Clothes are snug at the moment so hopefully would fit nicely with that weight loss. I already do about an hour and half walking with the dog a day, but all my yoga and swimming has gone out the window with lockdown :( also I feel like I eat healthily so sometimes am not sure where I'm going wrong.. breakfast is sourdough with avocado.. lunch could be an omelette and dinner salmon with loads of veg and rice... I suppose I do love things like butter and sauces so it's the hidden calories that get me. And since lockdown i have definitely been craving chocolate where I never used to before.. ate 3 chocolate nest cakes in a row yesterday. It's time to be a bit more mindful and I might see results Grin

The name PTCEDYFB is enough to get me to join! Cream eggs and biscuits a particular passion!
I've gone from being a target slimming world member to gradually adding on the pounds over the last few years due to some very stressful personal circumstances. Now 2 stone over my target, and as a poster upthread says, the elasticated waists are starting to dig in!
Doing the Davina OYG workouts every other day but know that for me food is the key to my weight loss. Will be doing SW style, with a few modifications along the way!
Weight today 10 stone 9 pounds- would be pleased with a stone off as menopause also an issue too! Confused

meow1989 · 16/04/2020 09:08

10stone this morning (with leggings and a bra on). BMI 24.8 so only just in healthy range.

Started the say with coffee and cheerios so not sure today is the day..am working from home so going to try only snacking on fruit between meals...

FAQs · 16/04/2020 09:20

Thursday good for me. We can do this. Smile

feelingnervousnow · 16/04/2020 09:31

I’m up for a Thursday weigh in...fancy starting a diet on a Thursday.
Will try not to be sneaking onto the scales before then.

AutumnNymph · 16/04/2020 09:32

I am here! Slept very late last night.
With the lockdown I have reverted to my natural rhythm of an owl.

I Will post my weight in a bit .

^hobbles off to face the “consequence
If too many cupcakes ^

menthollyinsane · 16/04/2020 09:37

@feelingnervousnow I think Thursday is a good day. No point in prolonging this fatness to start on Monday which I guess is the traditional day to start a diet.

I woke up in a state of panic when I realised that I'm starting this today. Grin

I just braved the scales, and I've gone sailing past 14 stone!!! Officially the heaviest I've been in my life, and that includes 2 pregnancies!!!

Okay, so my first goal is to get below 14 stone. Fuuuuuuuck.....

Also, my ankles are now fat.

I've followed the bootcamp on here before to good effect, so I'll try that again. And no eating before 12 or after 8.

menthollyinsane · 16/04/2020 09:41

@Notlostjustexploring I'm the same, heaviest I have ever been including three pregnancies.

Blush 10st 12 here this morning, a couple of years ago I was 9st 4 and it’s just slowly crept back on but this last month or so I’ve put on at least 7lbs, I’ve eaten 4 creme eggs this week already Blush

Time to put a stop to it now I think

HouseTornado · 16/04/2020 09:49

I'm digging a Thursday weigh in!

I've had 2 weetabix and a banana. Off out at 11am for our walk, will try and up the pace a bit, throw in a few lunges (not).

Lunch is two eggs on toasted pitta bread.

Dinner is chicken sausages, veg and mash, but I'll avoid the mash. My daily treat is 2 alcohol free beers (only 60 cals each, but taste like heaven).

feelingnervousnow · 16/04/2020 09:51

@menthollyinsane I think Thursday will be a good day too. At least we’ll soon be at the weekend and can get through that barrier while it’s all fairly novel.

AutumnNymph · 16/04/2020 09:52

9.2 here. That may seem low to some but I am a short arse and this is heavy for my frame.

I have gained a stone since Dec and my aim is to go back to my normal weight.

I was massively overweight about 7 years ago and woke hard to lose and maintain a healthy weight since then. This thread has been the wake-up call I needed.

So my aim is to lose a pound a week, :) 16/8 has worked well for me but I fell off the wagon in Dec so going to start it again from today. I am going to tweak the timings to suit my new nocturnal lifestyle and skip breakfast. My earlier schedule would be to skip dinner.

We can do this!

AutumnNymph · 16/04/2020 09:54

Anyone else up for tracking weight loss in a shared spreadsheet? I am a data geek and that always motivates me. I am happy to create a Google one and share it if enough people are up for it. :)

enough is at least one person other than me Grin
