GetThePartyStarted they look fab!
I'm down 2lbs so far for April which I'm happy with.
Although I have just remembered I can eat crisps again now that Lent is over. That might not be a positive from a weight loss pov Grin

Morning all. Happy Easter everyone, hope we can all make the most of the lovely sunshine.
Well, unsurprisingly yesterday's major transgressions are showing on the scales already with a whopping 2lb gain. I sincerely hope that some of that is water weight that will disappear quickly once I stick to the Keto rules again.
I'm also gathering a new smaller wardrobe although I've decided not to wear any of it until the end of lockdown. I am properly managing to get into a size 14 now and my 16/18 clothes are pretty much hanging off. I figure it doesn't much matter as nobody is seeing me at the moment. What are you all doing with your too big clothes ? I'm quite fond of some of mine and wondering whether to store them as "fat" clothes or not. Does that show a lack of confidence that I'm going to not regain all this weight or not? Really interested in everyone's thoughts on this.
Plan for today foodwise is OMAD, gallons of black coffee [I know!] and roast chicken dinner this evening with no roast potatoes or Yorkshire for me.

Onceuponatimethen · 12/04/2020 11:30

@recklessgran I’m going to keep mine to wear around the house - wearing a nice size 16 summer dress today that is now a bit of for me!

Onceuponatimethen · 12/04/2020 11:30

It’s a bit big for me I meant

cricketmum84 · 12/04/2020 11:45

@recklessgran I'm getting rid of everything that's too big. I won't entertain the thought of going back to where I was. My DDs primary school has a giant clothing collection bin where half the profits go to charity and half to the pta so I drop anything there. Tried the whole selling on thing and it was more hassle than it was worth.

Happy Easter to you all, I didn't weigh in this morning as I was organising the egg hunt. Then I had a bacon sandwich (thick white bread and brown sauce) yesterday was dominos, chocolate and wine - no leftover pizza cricketmum84 though dgs2 did leave half a chicken strip. I didn't get an easter egg so that may help because I never raid the dgc chocolate probably because I have a vivid memory of saving a buttons egg so I would have one when dsis didn't, only to come home from school to find that my df had eaten half the egg and all the buttons as he thought I didn't want it as it had been left! Scarred for life I tell you Grin.
I'm another one who needs alone time. I cleaned and decluttered dgs1's bedroom yesterday but the bathroom will be next - I haven't volunteered for extra cleaning since I was supposed to be revising for exams! (also the only time I ever watched cricket Smile)

cricketmum84 · 13/04/2020 07:13

Morning all! Haven't weighed today. I really really need someone to kick me on a morning to make me go for a run though, I just can't seem to muster up the enthusiasm!

Not a very chocolatey day in our house yesterday. DD are one small egg and the bag of about 10 mini eggs that was in it. I broke off a 2 inch square-ish piece of mine as a treat.

Plan for today is:

Minimum 4 pints water before lunchtime
Brunch - grilled asparagus and 2 poached eggs
Dinner - spicy broccoli noodles

Working today :( at least I get the day back to take later. Gonna be a busy one though!

Morning everyone (well afternoon here!)I weighed this morning and am another half a kilo down which is pleasing. 1.4 kilos off this month so far which is already past my target so if I can ditch another half a kilo that wouldn't be a bad thing.
I desperately need some new clothes and can't go shopping so having to accept the baggy look for now...
Consider this your kick up the bum @Cricketmum84 - off you go you'll be glad once you've done it!

cricketmum84 · 13/04/2020 07:52

I was just about to suggest some online shops doing sales @ploughingthrough then remembered you are in Singapore!

Well done on another loss!

GetTheStartyParted · 13/04/2020 08:27

Morning @cricketmum84 Hope you find some motivation, I don't have any to share I'm afraid!

Well done @ploughingthrough Star embrace the baggy look, you've worked hard for it!

3lb loss for me this week! Only lost 1 last week so I am pleased. That's 4lb so far for April.

No idea what meals we're having today but after a successful shop I have plenty of good choices.

Enjoy the Bank Holiday Smile

ploughingthrough · 13/04/2020 08:35

So good @GetTheStartyParted you're on fire this month.

recklessgran · 13/04/2020 09:59

Morning all. Today is my weigfh day and as expected it's a massive gain for me./
Last week 12st 5.75lbs
Today 12 st 7.25lbs
Oh well, back to the drawing board!
Well done @GetTheStartyParted that's amazing.
I'm with you cricket on the lack of exercise - we're not even going for a walk here. Never mind. Starting week 4 here today. Just KOKO everyone.
OMAD all week for me I think. It will be pork chop and roast veg for dinner. Also, I'm going back to drinking 2 litres of water a day and dumping the gallon of black coffee. Not sure all the caffeine is doing me much good.
Very windy here today and the sun has disappeared. Wishing everyone a happy day.

GetTheStartyParted · 13/04/2020 10:06

Thank you!
2st5 lost since I started. 3st7 left - I think, not really sure what my target weight is until i get there.

@recklessgran you'll soon be back on track with that plan. It's sunny but windy here, the dogs are getting stir crazy so I'll have to walk them today. Tried to avoid it over the bank holiday weekend as there were so many other people around.

JessJonesJumps · 13/04/2020 11:16

Brilliant losses - well done!
I'm 0.5lbs down today. I had one packet of crisps yesterday and kept thinking 'is this really worth the cals and carbs?' However I would still kill for a chocolate easter egg! Grin
I read all the kicking up the bum posts this morning and it motivated me to do some yoga so thanks for that! DS was not very happy that I made him do it too.But I do feel happier when I start the day with exercise. I should do it more often.

Tryingtwo · 13/04/2020 11:42

Good morning all, great losses GettheStartyParted, ploughingthrough and JessJonesJumps.
I'm managing a walk but that's it. Weight up 2lbs from Saturday's surprise low of 12st 0.4lbs. I have been eating anything and everything since Friday so this isn't just water retention because I have been quite good about drinking water. Oh well back to it. Soup and crackers for lunch and no snacking - easy to say...

Onceuponatimethen · 13/04/2020 11:50

Morning all! My weight is up today which I’m not shocked by given my slips over the last few days. Think my lowest was 77.7 kg and now I’m back up to 78.8.

So basically back on the losing wagon properly now.

So far:

Exercise - done 4,000 steps with a bit of Joe Wickes and going to try to get up to 10k steps today

Brek = pb sandwich (didn’t want really but dp had made it already!)

Lunch = veg soup

Dinner = crumbed fish plus tinned sweet corn

We are low on fresh food now but thank god have an internet shop coming Thursday and still have our store cupboard.

Onceuponatimethen · 13/04/2020 11:50

Well done to all those with losses - great news Star

Tanaqui · 13/04/2020 13:57

Hello! Slightly up today (although it's not an official weigh in day!), which always annoys me, just been out for lunch and had a goats cheese salad which was healthy and delicious but calorific as had (obviously) goats cheese, plus lots of nuts. But am hoping to still stick to the 16.8.

cricketmum84 · 14/04/2020 08:21

Uh oh... weight starting to creep up again! I think I need a few days of very low carb to kick start me losing again.

I didn't dare go out for a run or walk this morning as the armed police appeared to be doing some sort of very scary raid up the street and i didn't want them to shout at me. Hopefully I can get out for half an hour at lunchtime.

Plan for today is:
B - lots of water (I'm 3 pints down already) maybe a scrambled egg if I get hungry.

L - mixed leaves, spring onions, pepper and half tin tuna in spring water. Will do a homemade dressing with ginger, lime, coriander, white wine vinegar and olive oil.

D - 2 LM sausages, celeriac mash and broccoli

Stay away from the snacks!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Ecci · 14/04/2020 09:45

Up 2 lbs today, not really surprised as I've had lots of hot cross buns and 2 Crunchies (first chocolate since Christmas, lovely) over the weekend. Determined to get back on track today. I've decided to buy a pair of size 14 jeans, which I know won't fit yet but I'll be regularly trying them on to see how much closer I'm getting. Hope everyone has a good losing day.

KaterMurr · 14/04/2020 10:48

Hi everyone - I'm aiming to lose about 10kg after slowly putting that much on over the past year or so.

I was aiming for 1200 yesterday but ended up on 1800, so I'm going to try and cut down to 1000 today to semi-make up for it.

JessJonesJumps · 14/04/2020 11:29

Weight slightly down again this morning. Since two of our deliveries didn't come last week, I'm only drinking water (or gin Wink ) and that definitely seems to help.
We did yoga again this morning - Cosmic Kids this time. I think I like yoga better than Joe Wick tbh. I need to work on my balance because of my dodgy back and DS struggles with his balance and flexibility. Maybe by end of lockdown, we'll be bendy!
Our local garden centre is doing deliveries and I'm considering getting some fruit plants eg raspberries, blueberries. Does anyone grow their own fruit? Is it difficult?

HundredYearOldMan · 14/04/2020 12:25

Down another 2lbs this week, taking me to 15st 3lbs. Pleased with that! Good luck @KaterMurr, that is the kind of way I want to look at things when I reach maintenance. If I have more one day then I’ll eat less another day to balance it out.

cricketmum84 · 14/04/2020 12:38

Might try the yoga @JessJonesJumps. My sciatica could do with some help, it's so bad from being constantly sat down that I'm numb in one thigh now.... slightly worrying!

I'm always tempted by the fruit trees when I see them but tbh I have limited success with growing anything and I'm also terrified of wasps and worry they would attract them. (Pathetic I know)

OP posts:
recklessgran · 14/04/2020 12:41

Morning all. Planning on having ham and egg mayo salad of sorts [no leaves left here] for dinner tonight. OMAD seems to be working as weight going down again now I'm back sticking to the Keto rules.
We're still not going out at all but will venture into the garden as it seems warmer today than yesterday here. Plenty of weeding to do but the best thing out there is the bluebells, I brought them from my DSis's in Devon at the end of the summer last year - so beautiful. Nature is so clever! KOKO everyone.
