somesort good luck for court and here's hoping there's just enough snow to be fun.
@JontyDoggle37 thanks for the tips and motivation last night.
I'm 0.2lbs down.
It's my DB's friend's funeral today and I already have a migraine brewing so my plan is to eat whatever gets me through the day.

Skyejuly · 24/01/2020 12:02

Good luck some sorts. X

cricketmum84 · 24/01/2020 12:19

@Somesortofzilla a snowman day sounds perfect! I'm sure everything will be fine in court. Any half witted person can see that he is a total waste of space!

DH is bringing me a vegan roll from Greggs so I am giving in to the carb cravings. Looks like it will need to be a point free tea instead!

Come on @Skyejuly, you're not a dustbin!
If you're going to have toast, have it hot and freshly buttered. Not someone else's cold leftovers, eaten standing by the kitchen sink! (We've all done it 😉)
You're worth more than that!

Skyejuly · 24/01/2020 14:12

Haha so true. I am usually so good at throwing it away if they finish!

Oooh enjoy the Greggs!

lilgreen · 24/01/2020 16:19

Ah @Vebrithien that’s great to hear!
Had an ok day today. Actually stopped myself from going to eat a Jaffa cake at work. Go me!
B: boiled egg, toast
L: salad with tuna and avocado

lilgreen · 24/01/2020 17:22

D: is bubbling away. Fish and lentil stew with crusty bread. Several glasses of red.

KnucklesMcGinty · 24/01/2020 17:50

Ooh that's one of my favourite lunches @lilgreen. I WFH so often make that with olives & capers. Yum!

lilgreen · 24/01/2020 17:54

I’ll be adding olives to mine and DD’s but DH isn’t an olive lover.love capers too but don’t have any. There is chorizo in there too. Yum!

cricketmum84 · 24/01/2020 17:55

I ate a doughnut too. It was a vegan doughnut so does that make it ok???

No tea for me at all after a baaaaad eating day. In my defence work was absolutely insane again with just constant issues and crisis. So glad it's over for today!

Love to hear your update @Vebrithien ❤️

Absolutely no calories in a vegan doughnut hmm] Grin

MsTSwift · 24/01/2020 18:51

Been good this week slipped under 10 stone out for dh birthday meal now think can relax tonight only. Nearly reached 2 stone loss bmi 22

lilgreen · 24/01/2020 19:09

Brilliant @mstswift enjoy!

y0rkier0se · 24/01/2020 19:43

Weighed in at 16.2 today, so down 6lbs so far this month. Another week left of the month and I’d love another 2lb off. Went on a course today and they provided lunch - had 2 quarter sandwiches and 2 half wraps, stayed away from the crisps and buns but had 2 small cookies. Made a chicken and spinach curry for tea. Think I’m over on kcals today but not awful - straight back on it tomorrow Smile

recklessgran · 24/01/2020 21:00

Evening all. It's been a busy day even though it's my day off. I've been out with g/f for lunch and had cheese salad at a nice garden centre. Then we went to the pub where I had a J.D and diet coke. This evening I've had sausage, bacon, egg and mushrooms. Was delicious. Haven't done too well with my water today on account of being out for most of it but at least my steps are up.
@cricketmum84 I would love a doughnut right now - hope you enjoyed it. In answer to your question yes, I'm generally good with the water and I do think it helps, yes.
@somesortofzilla don't worry I'm sure the court will know that stbexh is a willy waver and will chop him down to size. Well done you - you are so brave but it will be worth it in the end.
Yay @Vebrithien you're 35% of the way there, lovely update.
@JessJonesJumps I'm sorry it's been a horrible day for you but KOKO.

ploughingthrough · 25/01/2020 00:29

I live in Asia and we have a public holiday for Chinese New Year. I had half a can of beer and 6 small CNY cookies in the evening which fucked up my 16:8 and is my first cheat since I began! Remarkably the scales were still down a touch this morning so onwards. I've been for a 25 min swim this morning. Pleased with a 5kg loss this month I am at 11 stone and would like to be around 10 so that's my new goal however long it takes . V impressed with the losses and commitment on here

DownUdderer · 25/01/2020 03:07

I’m down 3lb for the month, I’m happy with that. If I could lose a tiny bit more before Feb I’d be happy! I’ve been out for a 10k step walk today.

Egghead68 · 25/01/2020 06:50

You’re doing well @DownUdderer. I’m maintaining (65.2kg) which is frustrating but my head hasn’t really been in the game. At least I haven’t gained.

Happy weekend everyone.

KnucklesMcGinty · 25/01/2020 07:02

I'm 14 kg down from my heaviest weight, down 2 bra sizes, loads of inches off my hips, but nothing literally nothing off my waist measurement.
Sad

Skyejuly · 25/01/2020 07:14

Nothing of my waist either :(

HRHPrincessMegan · 25/01/2020 07:27

Morning -

I haven’t posted in a couple of weeks as I was worried about becoming a little obsessed and reactivating some unhealthy habits. I spent decades as a disordered eater, assiduously avoiding carbs and in a fasting/binge cycle. I wanted this month to be about shedding some superfluous weight but in a healthy and sustainable way but quickly realised that hitting the 7lbs target this way would be very difficult for me. I am tall, fit and at the mid point of my BMI range.

My loss for the month so far is 3lbs and I would be delighted if I could shed another 1 lbs by the end. I have been attending boxercise classes and boot camps 5x a weeks and dog walking for an hour daily. I’ve been eating 3 meals a day, plenty of veg, pulses, wholemeal grains and fruit with the occasional bit of fish or meat. I have successfully avoided sweets, chocolate, biscuits, crisps - all things I love to snack on. I’m also drinking much less caffeine.

While my actual weigh loss is low, I feel so much better. My skin is clearer, I’m sleeping well and I have bags of energy. I’ve also toned up considerably and have lost inches around my waist and hips.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

cricketmum84 · 25/01/2020 08:40

Morning alll and happy Saturday.

Weight is STS which I will class as a win after yesterday's slip up.

Great result so far @HRHPrincessMegan and can NSVs too :)

@ploughingthrough 5kg loss for the month so far is phenomenal!

@DownUdderer you are doing amazing

We are out for pub tea tonight so been going through the menu to plan ahead. All the vegan options seem very high in points and fat :( I may relax veganuary for tonight and have a grilled halloumi salad as that seems to be the lowest point thing on the menu.

I've got a leftover portion of jackfruit curry for lunch - homemade and point free. Also have about 4 overripe bananas to use up so currently searching for low point banana recipe ideas :)

Have a lovely Saturday everyone!

JontyDoggle37 · 25/01/2020 08:45

@JessJonesJumps I hope you got through yesterday ok, it’s not worth worrying about weight loss on days like that.
Haven’t weighed this morning, have got another cold on top of the previous one. So fed up with this now and it’s really affecting my motivation. Also had a health assessment done last week and got the report back this morning. I’m actually 42, but my metabolic age is 57!!!! Drastic action required.

Ihatesundays · 25/01/2020 09:58

Had gin and crisps last night. Still exactly the same!

lilgreen · 25/01/2020 10:53

Same this morning but did have just under half a bottle of red wine last night.
