cricketmum84 · 30/11/2019 13:00

Morning all! And welcome to the December edition of lose 7lbs!

A huge to welcome to the newbies, long term followers and contributors and the lurkers!

I would dearly love to lose 7lbs in December but accepting that I'm probably going to relax things a little, have some chocolate or some cheese, mulled wine and stollen.

I will still be following ww and 16:8 most days. I'm also going to try stay mostly vegan with the exception of local eggs which I think should help me stay on track!

Stats are:
Dec starting weight: 18.13
Dec target weigh: 18.7
Loss for November: 3lbs
Loss for 2019: 6stone 5lbs

Happy December to all and let's get our festive groove on!

@Vebrithien we’re thinking of you.

@Egghead68 it is hard if you are working and hungry and have to grab something! Get some veggies tomorrow :)

Welcome new joiners. Getting a head start on everyone else, who might start weight loss on January the first!

I’ve had a long hike across the beach today. It was a good work out.

Egghead68 · 02/12/2019 06:18

Morning all! Day 2 and I weighed in at 18.12! The scales moved! Whoop! Let's hope this continues!

Wfh day today but I've got plenty of fruit and veg in. Also have a medication review at the doctors this morning which I'm looking forward to as I haven't been weighed at the doctors for about a year! Can't wait to see the nurses face when she realises hoe much I've lost!

Plan for today is:
Am - green tea and advent calendar 😂
Lunch - leftover quorn chilli and quinoa with a dollop of oatly creme fraiche
Dinner - Bombay potato frittata with lots of wild rocket and onion salad
Snacks - graze protein nuts and a couple of apples

Happy Monday to all! Wishing us all a productive and successful day!

Have a great start of the week, all!
Veb sending positive thoughts.

I’m a lot lighter today after a week of stalling. 🥳. I weighed after a big baby feed, but I hope it’s not a blip!
I bought some Lindt Hazelnuts and Bendicks yesterday but haven’t eaten any yet. 🤔

Egghead68 · 02/12/2019 08:41

Go @cricketmum84!!!!

cricketmum84 · 02/12/2019 09:09

Loved the doctors appt :)

She said "Jesus Christ" maybe 10 times and kept asking how on Earth I had lost so much :)

Also my BMI is now low enough to put me out of the at risk group for flu! And my blood pressure is back at a normal level instead of being sky high.

Feeling pretty good today!

Morning all, here's to a productive week!
Plan for today is no breakfast, miso soup with pak Choi for lunch and Mexican chicken for tea.

WoollyFoolly · 02/12/2019 09:11

That's a brilliant result @cricketmum84, you must be so proud of yourself!

MsTSwift · 02/12/2019 10:00

Ooh well done cricket mum! I was inspired by routine medical that put bmi at 27 firmly overweight. 2 months later 1.5 stone lighter its 23. Part of me wants to go back to show them! But that would be mental

Startoftheyear2019 · 02/12/2019 10:04

Naughty day yesterday- heavier today - oooops.

lilgreen · 02/12/2019 18:02

Hi everyone I’m coming on to hopefully give you hope. I’ve just lost my 7th pound. Started at start of November. I haven’t got a lot to lose so thought it would take longer but I’ve done it.
5/11-10st 4
1/12-9st 11

My aim is 9st 7 by Christmas. I’m using the YAZIO app to calorie count. I’m allowed 1300 cals but most days hitting 1100. Only a couple of wines at weekends and no snacking has helped as I eat quite healthily anyway, just prone to picking and larger portions.
Good luck!

claretsforever · 02/12/2019 18:06

Hi please can I join?

Starting weight (10th Sept) 193lbs
Current weight: 172lbs

Hoping for 4-6 in December but I am traveling back to the UK to visit family for a week and then on to Australia to visit the in laws so not sure how realistic.

I am eating as plainly as I can and then keeping on top of exercise- trying to go 5x week although I'll have to relax when I'm home as don't have the same access to gyms.

Good luck everyone!

lilgreen · 02/12/2019 18:12

Forgot my food.
B: boiled egg, toast, tea with skimmed milk
L: chicken salad
D: baked salmon with veg and a few new potatoes.
Kitchen closed. Teeth brushed (it helps me!)

Baguetteaboutit · 02/12/2019 18:30

Day 2 of 30ds. Not even a mince pie worth of calories, ffs.

B: Porridge, banana, berries, flaxseeds
S. Apple
L: hummus on toast x 2
D: veg chilli on brown rice.

Megsmcgoo · 02/12/2019 19:05

Today’s food
Quaker porridge pot
Anti pasta salad - chicken, mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, olives and stuffed cherry peppers (favourite)
Chicken tikka ready meal from weight watchers with broccoli
Advent calendar chocolate x 2

Tryingtwo · 02/12/2019 20:25

Hi, checking in. Keeping fingers crossed for you Vebrithien. Well done cricketmum84

Finished November at 14st 10lbs. Started December at 14st 10.4lbs and yet another gain this morning to 14st 10.8lbs - that's what I get for snacking and not counting everything. I'm back on track today so hopefully the numbers will be better tomorrow.

Vebrithien · 02/12/2019 22:50

That's bloody brilliant cricket, well done.
What a boost to the start of the month!
