Just doing a thread to keep me accountable. Anyone's welcome to join though. I'm combining slimfast and fast 800. I'd love to meet my goal for xmas but realistically 2lb a week would mean end Jan/beginning of Feb.
Starting weight 12st8.
Currently 12st, bmi 33.
Goal 8st7 (or anything bmi under 25 tbh).

Crazy no I diet every day. I started off doing 4 slimfasts a day for 800 cals and nothing else, and then started swapping out some slimfast for some food but still keeping to the 800 cals a day. I did do alternate days 1000cals/500cals but now I'm not even really counting anymore, I've just got so used to hav

Oops, posted too soon!
having that amount of food. So now I have a slimfast (ready made) every morning, then at lunch I have food like half a sandwich, bit of banana, and dinner time I have a tiny portion of whatever the kids have. Or I have another slimfast. If I'm really busy at work I can go from my morning slimfast to like mid afternoon before even thinking about food. When I started I was counting the minutes to my next bit of food/slimfast so my appetite has completely reset itself.

Oh and I have half a tonne of diet coke/pepsi max every day. And I sometimes have a single square of chocolate or bit of fruit.

ISmellBabies · 19/11/2019 22:02

Boohoo that's exactly how I used it and it's really worked. I wasn't confident about what to eat or how much food would be how many calories, and it just takes all that uncertainty out of it.

HugeAckmansWife · 20/11/2019 06:56

, ismell thats how i feel right now, thinking g about the next meal or snack and knowing I've only got one left that day. Im hungry a lot but i really want to do this.. A 3 stone loss would be amazing so hopefully I'll get to that point too where my body gets used to it.

ISmellBabies · 20/11/2019 14:35

@Amicrazy121 are you ok? Don't be down about one single tiny stone! You're so close to perfection already and you can smash through that stone in about 6 weeks, maybe even less. It's like you're starting a 10k race at 9.5k! What else is going on, tell us if you want to talk about it.
Great going small Star
HugeAckman you can totally get there. My hungryometer and moodometer have been all over the place so far this diet but my commitmentometer has (mostly!) been at 10/10 and that's what makes all the difference.

@ISmellBabies Thank you for your supportive words. TBH I always knew I was on the chubby side but it wasn't a big issue. Then found out my friend had lost 2 stone in a month and I think still looks big even though she is now a stone lighter than me. It then occurred to me I may be deluding myself on how I actually look!

ISmellBabies · 22/11/2019 08:11

Ah it's your kick up the bum moment! I had that when someone took a photo of me and I looked sooo overweight, much more than I'd realised. It's horrible isn't it, but motivational at least!

Definitely know what you mean about mot8vation. I'm doing a half marathon next September and am just beginning to tackle the fitness thing as well with Parkrun and ideally one other run in the week to build up to longer distances. Am having to be v careful today as its drinks and dinner out tonight so I'm driving and will be having a salad.. Wasn't decided until earlier today so i had soup for lunch instead of a shake as i hadnt brought one with me. Calories should balance out.. It has to fit in with actual life ot its not sustainable. Has everyone got the weekend under control? Will be tougher than the week i suspect

Amazing well done @ISmellBabies!

ISmellBabies · 25/11/2019 10:52

Thank you, here's my chart (btw it never goes up because I find that shit depressing, so if I don't go down I just normally don't log it. I only log good news!) I'm 2.4lbs away from a healthy weight and I'm desperate to get in that category asap. Not to mention breaking the 9st barrier. I'm going all out this week, it I don't fucking smash the shit out of it by next week I'll be raging! Grin

Well done guys. Good results. X

whatalovelytub · 26/11/2019 09:39

Hi I've been following this off and on, as have had some success with 800 cal per day in the past (the long distant past!!). @ISmellBabies you have done SO well!

It's 30 days until Christmas Eve and I am starting today. Lost a couple of stone last year post birth of DS, but would like to lose the last one.

Starting weight today: 10st 1lb
Goal weight by 24th Dec: 9st

Like you at the beginning I find it easier to use shakes to wean off the taste of toast/butter/cheese ie. all my downfalls. Currently have some pre-packed protein breakfast milk drinks from Tesco which come in at 218 calories each.

small2018 · 27/11/2019 00:09

Well done @ISmellBabies! I fell off the wagon but I'm back on it from tomorrow!

ISmellBabies · 01/12/2019 10:40

Lovelytub good luck!
Small hope you're back on the wagon now!
I'm weighing in a day early because I have fucking smashed it out the park! 8st13.2. I'm not overweight anymore! Smashed through the healthy weight barrier, smashed through the 9st barrier, 6lb to go to target, and I look amazing!! I walk past my reflection in the morning and I see my flat tummy and my bouncy boob and I think wow, phwoar!! Gonna smash out these last 6lb, then enjoy Christmas (but not too much!!) and then probably re-lose those same 6lb after Christmas, and then I'm done. Feeling very proud of myself today, it was fucking worth it.

OP posts:
ISmellBabies · 01/12/2019 10:41

Bouncy boobs that should be, not to boast but I do have 2 of them, haha!

OP posts:
whatalovelytub · 01/12/2019 12:59

Wow! Amazing work. Honestly can't believe how strong you've been in keeping this up so long. I do agree you get used to the small portions though. Now, 'full' means I've eaten just enough so I can keep going. Before it meant eat until I physically couldn't eat any more.
Another 6lb should be comfortable before Christmas Grin
I'm 5lb down so a good start although 1st week always sees loads come off..so..

ISmellBabies · 01/12/2019 15:50

I've been extra strong since I fell off the wagon that time and put on 3lb. I was fucking raging that I had to spend the whole of the next week losing 3lb that I'd already lost once! Wasn't gonna do that again in a hurry! Grin

OP posts:
small2018 · 01/12/2019 16:12

Woo hoo excellent @ISmellBabies! You fucking deserve it! What an inspiration!

HugeAckmansWife · 02/12/2019 07:10

For one sodding day 😒 it wasn't even the food, it was beer and gin. Right, thats it now. Am at12. 7 this morning, i bloody well am going to be 11 something before xmas. Grrrrr.
