Slimfast / Fast 800

ISmellBabies · 06/08/2019 11:03

Just doing a thread to keep me accountable. Anyone's welcome to join though. I'm combining slimfast and fast 800. I'd love to meet my goal for xmas but realistically 2lb a week would mean end Jan/beginning of Feb.
Starting weight 12st8.
Currently 12st, bmi 33.
Goal 8st7 (or anything bmi under 25 tbh).

Argh it's so unfair isn't it! Just keep going, it will go eventually!

Weigh day. 1.5lb down. Thank CHRIST. That's 24lb in total now since I started at the middle of May.

Got a half marathon on Sunday so I need to start eating actual food and some carbs. Eshk hello weight gain!

Awittyusernameishardtofind · 10/10/2019 13:19

@thismeansnothing

Good luck with the half marathon. I’m no where near that fit anymore.

24lbs is great! Well done

thismeansnothing · 10/10/2019 16:26

Thanks! I'm not either really. Had a C-section 8 month ago and training came to a stop a couple of month ago with a foot injury. But I'll get myself round come hell or high water!

ISmellBabies · 10/10/2019 20:41

Wow, good luck thismeansnothing! Well done on the weight loss too.

10st5.6 today. I defrosted the chocolate cake and had some yesterday. It was delicious. And I fitted it in to my 1000 day.
I saw some photographs of me earlier today, wow, there is so, so much difference since my heaviest! And it's only been about 12 weeks. Definitely worth the slog.

Good job. It’s nice when you notice a difference. X

Weigh in: 10st4.6.

I’m 1.2 lbs down. Definitely slowed Hmm

Changednamealready · 15/10/2019 11:55

Are the powdered shakes nicer than the ready made? I did have a ready made cafe late for lunch and was v hungry afterwards....

Awittyusernameishardtofind · 15/10/2019 12:32

I personally prefer the ready made tbh

Seems legit Hmm

babygrootandstarlord · 16/10/2019 19:03

Can I join? I've been doing Fast 800 since the 6th, (started at 12st7, as of today I'm at 12st0). My goal weight is 9st7 but realistically I would love to be at least 10st7 by Christmas.

I don't think whatever I lose will help the saggy c-section flap though. Waah.

I was doing well up until now, BUT today I'm really struggling, a coworker cooked loads of my favourite treats and left them for me in my office. So hard to resist!!!

Changednamealready · 16/10/2019 19:44

Babygroot ive been struggling too and completely fell off the wagon - I’ve blamed lack of sleep, a cold and wet weather...

Now it’s back on it though. Slip ups are human and inevitable. Focus on where you want to be and how to feel your best.

ISmellBabies · 16/10/2019 20:26

I don't have much preference for ready-made or powder taste-wise but the powder one has slightly more calories!
Hi babygroot, I'm sure you'll smash your target, well done!
Welcome back on the wagon Changedname.

Agreed. It’s not a question of punishing yourself for having a treat. Don’t worry and don’t beat yourself up. Pick up where you left off and you’ll be fine x

babygrootandstarlord · 17/10/2019 16:30

Thanks! Back on the wagon today. "Ran" at the gym for 30 minutes (and by that I mean I would run for 3 minutes, stop because I felt like I might die, walk for 3 minutes, run again....lol) and then 30 minutes of weights. I felt very virtuous at the time but now can barely get into or out of a sit position, or climb stairs. Ha! One day at a time.

I'm generally lazy so ready made shakes are the only ones I've tried.

ISmellBabies · 20/10/2019 08:15

Babygroot well done that's amazing!

I made it to 10st! Well 10st 0.8. My tummy is pretty flat now, but I still have massive boobs and big hips/bum (which is the fashion now), but with a small waist. I'm totally hour glass. Tbh, I look a total sex bomb! (for a 30-something mum anyway). Am still 1st over the healthy BMI though. I hope I'm still this sexy in 1 stone's time!

Awittyusernameishardtofind · 21/10/2019 16:49

Star well done! So great that you’re more body confident x

Awittyusernameishardtofind · 22/10/2019 08:09

2.4lbs down and finally under 12 stone. Phew. Still a long way to go but I’m pleased that I’m getting there. 1lb to go before I’m the weight I was when I got pregnant...admittedly I was pretty fat then lol.

ISmellBabies · 23/10/2019 19:31

Haha, that's a great milestone, well done!

ISmellBabies · 25/10/2019 13:53

I fell of the wagon! Bloody Halloween treats - scoffed a load. Now I'll have to re-lose lbs I'd already lost, oops.

Awittyusernameishardtofind · 25/10/2019 14:55

Me to! Just been out to lunch. Healthy shish with rice.. good. Tones of taramasalata and bread... not so good.

Back on it tomorrow. We can do it!!

ISmellBabies · 25/10/2019 16:47

Ok, I'll climb back on the wagon if you're coming too! 😂
