Slim the 800 thing is Michael Moseley's fast 800 plan. So basically you eat 800 cals a day. I borrowed the idea and merged it with the slimfast plan so I was having 800 cals a day, mostly slimfasts, rather than doing the slimfast plan properly which is 2 slimfasts a day plus a 600 cal meal (for about 1000 cals total, or 1200 cals if you add a couple of 100cal snacks a day). I just did that because I'm a lazy bastard who doesn't want to cook a meal, I'm not confident counting calories, and I fucking hate diets and want it over as fast as humanly possible, lol! 
Smarty, I think they mean one bit of fruit, but you can do it your way. Just say you make a 200cal fruit salad instead of having a 100 cal bit of fruit, you could have a 500 cal meal instead of a 600 cal one to offset those extra calories?
This morning I was 9st8.2. That's a 3st loss so far. The size 14s I got back into a month ago are now getting loose. So I went to primark to treat myself to a pair of size 12 jeans. It ruined my day tbh. When I see myself naked now at home I think "phwoooar, what a total sex goddess" haha, but in the primark changing room I looked awful, the shitty lighting magnifies every lump and bump. How dare they? I still bought the jeans though!
So just to cheer myself up and remind me what I'm doing this for, these are my stats:
From end July to now I have lost 3st in weight, 6 inches off my chest, 8 inches off my waist, 5 inches off my hips and 3 inches off each thigh. I've gone from a size 18ish to a 12. I've gone from BMI 34.5 (obese) to BMI 26 and in 7lb's time I'll be in the healthy category.
I might start doing a bit of exercise again. I did start but it's hard when you're heavy. I'll give it another go I think, see if I can give my weight loss an extra boost.
