Slimfast / Fast 800

Just doing a thread to keep me accountable. Anyone's welcome to join though. I'm combining slimfast and fast 800. I'd love to meet my goal for xmas but realistically 2lb a week would mean end Jan/beginning of Feb.
Starting weight 12st8.
Currently 12st, bmi 33.
Goal 8st7 (or anything bmi under 25 tbh).

Right, so I'm trying out this alternating 500/1000cals. Saturday I got up ridiculously late so it was easy, I had one slimfast and 5 chicken nuggets and a small apple for 500. Sunday was then bloody fab because I had avacado and a pasta meal, neither of which is easy to fit into a 800cal day very often unless you plan ahead properly (unlikely for me tbh)! So today is a 500 day again and I've had a slimfast for breakfast and one about 4pm (i was starving!) and a slice of cheese and an apple for lunch. I'm undecided if it's better than a constant 800 every day but I'll see how it goes. If nothing else it changes things up a bit.

Just completed day 3.

Did a 50min run on day one. And 12,000 steps on the other 2 days. Managing to get the 2l water in mainly in the peppermint teas I've got a taste for. Not been overly hungry which is good and makes it manageable. Just evenings are the challenge but that's more down to habit than anything else. And before boredom hits I've got a tub of chocolate shake powder so I can mix it up a bit.

My scales are definitely starting to shift again. 10st 10 now which is BMI 29.4. It started at 34.5 so that's great progress. I've lost 1st 12lb so far. I really want to drop these next 2 lbs to get to the 2st/half way point. I'm feeling really positive. Clothes are getting too big and other clothes are fitting again. I get to eat reasonably well every other day. It's going well.

Thanks wittyusername! Have a great time tonight! I'm doing really well, today was supposed to be my 1000 cal day but I was busy and missed lunch so I only had 600 cal so might have my 1000 day tomorrow. Probably won't have a roast though, not til Christmas anyway!

I did 5 days on plan. I'm doing 2 shakes, 2 fruit/veg snacks, a slimfast bar snack, healthy tea, water and exercise. Then yesterday (Saturday) totally off plan because it was my birthday. I did do parkrun in the morning though 🤣

Today we're at MILs for a family gathering so going to try my best to be back on plan and limit food to about 600kcals. Then I have a yoga class this evening. Then I Aim to drink as much water as possible today in some vain hope of flushing yesterday's alcohol and food out 🤣 to my credit I don't normally drink so when I do I can't have much but my god it makes me bloated.

Haha! I have the opposite problem, I get fed with a bit of cookie, sandwich etc. I try to just pretend to have some and make mmmm noises!

So I started on Monday 23rd sept.
Got weighed Thursday 26th and lost 2 lb.
Birthday weekend 28th/29th. Didn't follow the plan but didn't go excessively overboard either. Execised too over that weekend running on Saturday and yoga on the sunday.
Back on it Monday 30th.
Weighed yesterday.
Maintained 😠 so frustrating.

10st 7.8 today. I've lost 2st1lb and I'm half way through. About 1st7lb til healthy bmi 25, and probably 2st to go til I'm happy. I could murder a cupcake right now!

Yesterday I really fancied some chocolate, and it was my 1000cal day, so I had some. So today is my 500cal day, I've just had a slimfast, I'll have another one early afternoon and then dinner will be an apple and a slice of cheese. Diets are really fucking boring.

I was looking in the mirror thinking 'why am I STILL bloody fat?' and then I realised I'll still be fat for the next 2 stone, that's why I needed to lose that much weight! On the bright side, I can see a hint of collar bone, it'll be nice to see that again properly. Also I've lost 5" off my waist, 3" off my hips and 3" off my bust, and 1" off each thigh. That's pretty good I think. I just have to keep going.
My mum dropped round a delicious chocolate cake yesterday. It's in the freezer. I'm going to eat it at Christmas, when I'm slim. Unless the kids get to it first! Grin

Halfway is amazing! I know what you mean about still feeling fat though. I’ve been a bit down on myself lately and even though I’ve 18lbs I still have so far to go! I’ve only lost the weight I put on since the start of the year Confused still a fatty
