1/2 down today but felt good for eating properly. I might not be frugal and buy a salad for a few days......nah.

Not2bObvious · 15/10/2019 07:43

That’s nice to wake up to life
No weigh in today, trousers feeling tight. I stuck to around 1450 yesterday so that’s a start of sorts to the week, I’m working on drinking more water as I’m definitely bloated. Aiming to get more fibre in too, see if it helps with satiety. Tired this morning so no treadmill. Maybe when I get home

Sounds lovely life and entirely possible to do on your own if you had the time!
I saw the results of my massive overeating yesterday on the scales this morning up 2.4lbs.

I was hungry & haven't eaten at all yet today so it's balancing out!

Busy evening yesterday - Dunnes/Pilates/Board Meeting so no walk, will go with dog this evening

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/10/2019 07:16

14300 steps yesterday. No weight workout yet this week. Hopefully tonight.
1 lb off. The refocus is doing me good

Not2bObvious · 16/10/2019 07:42

Faced the scales and 2lb up on my last weigh in a week ago, I can deal with that and I feel better for facing it. Ended up way off cals last night which was down to bad planning/low mood/too much restriction. I’m going to do better today.
Wow life, is that 1.5lb off in 2 days? That’s very encouraging

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 16/10/2019 08:07

2lb on is ok after a weekend away and a day off track. That will soon come off.
Yes but it's bloat and nasties coming out. Also haven't done weights this week.

Happierwithouthim · 16/10/2019 08:40

Yesterday 7500 steps cals just under by 38.

Scales back down to 159.2
Today's food - bacon sandwich/greek yog & strawberries/Tuna mayo Ciabatta roll 700cals left with 33g protein & 24g fibre to hit, amazing what difference making right choices can make.

Was over by about 1200 cals on Monday and just bad choices not necessarily bad food

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/10/2019 17:05

Lots of guessing and bugger all steps today. Hey ho

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 16/10/2019 18:58

Hi all.

Not, sounds like a good plan.
Life, well done on those steps.
Happier, those are good steps too and you were under cals.

My steps will be non-existent for a while, but that's ok. For those that don't know I had keyhole surgery yesterday, so just need to recover.

Food yesterday after surgery in hospital, coffee and blackcurrant jam on toast, which I then threw up, but felt much better after!
Dinner tomato and basil soup with a bagel.

Food today
Weetabix with a bit of brown sugar and coconut milk, coffee
Vegan sausages and mash with gravy.
Drinking lots of water too.

Hope everyone is doing ok and hello to blue

Not2bObvious · 16/10/2019 19:17

I hope you’re ok curvy - and your recovery is speedyFlowers
Doing pretty decent today, on about 1500, might leave it there but I’m allowing myself up to 1650 so room for a little treat. First day back on the dreadmill so 5,000 done before work. Onward & downward with any luck😉

Thanks not and that sounds like a serious workout this morning. Keep up the positive vibes and you will smash it!

My aim is to rest and eat, but sensibly.

Wolfcub · 17/10/2019 07:09

Down. All weekend weight gain gone and another 1/4 of loss

WreckTangled · 17/10/2019 07:18

Fell off the thread and I'm 3lb up on my lowest. Right from now on no snacking and back to two meals a day.

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/10/2019 07:35

1 lb up but I know why.
Rest and recover is the thing right now curvy.
DH walked in yesterday so I ran out to catch a body pump class. 9700 steps yesterday and a fbw.

Not2bObvious · 17/10/2019 07:52

Up early for 30 minutes on the treadmill, got around 4,500 doing that (increasing my jogging minutes over time) Scales up around .4 on yesterday so gain is standing at 2.5 from last week but hey ho no point in focusing too much on it, it’ll drop once I do the right things.
That’s brilliant wolf, you’re on a roll of weekend gains are gone by Wednesday & a loss as well! You’ll be waving goodbye to the other half of that stone in no time.
You’ll drop that 3 no bother wreck once you set your mind to it.
Yesterday marked 10 weeks to that day, 10 WEEKS!!! Found myself wandering around the shops last night thinking about party wear. I’ve no mental goals, just get back under 160 and stay there until the 25th.

Hey everyone!

I was doing really well, lost 3lb in the first week, then ate out last night, had a chicken wrap with chips and garlic bread. Regret it now but a new day today so moving on.

Early start for me today and couldn't face breakfast, just had a muesli bar for 99 cals and about 150 cal worth of Graze BBQ Crunch.

Not sure about dinner tonight, money is very tight right now so I'll have to find something in the freezer later on.

Anyone have any quick and low cal dinner ideas/recipes?

Happierwithouthim · 17/10/2019 08:56

Wreck you'll solve that in no time

Sts for me this morning 8500 steps yesterday, calories ok I think, I'd a gorgeous takeaway of crispy shredded chicken & spicy chips. Thoroughly enjoyed it so no regrets Grin

10 weeks Shock
I've a wedding in 4 weeks, need to try on what I have & 8 dresses I got from Littlewoods & settle on something

Wolf good going Star

Not2bObvious · 17/10/2019 09:01

Don’t regret your meal camden, you’re entitled to eat and it’s not like it was a week long binge. Brilliant work on getting 3lb down in the first week. I’m a disaster for dinners, I find if I go too low cal I’m starving the rest of the evening so it’s counter productive for me but I still do it. I generally aim for high protein and I don’t load up on the carbs, so if everyone else is having mash or chips or rice or pasta, I’ll bake a small potato with a marinated chicken breast & veg. Or a fish cake & salad, steak and a small corn on the cob. Things like that. Not sure whether they’re cheap though, depends on where you’re shopping. I have a stash of reduced price food from Aldi when I’m lucky enough to get there at the right time or yellow stickers from M&S but it can’t be relied on.

Happierwithouthim · 17/10/2019 11:26

I'm like not if I skimp on dinner I overeat later whereas a lower cal lunch doesn't have same effect so scrambled egg or beans on wholemeal toast is one of those meals. Tuna(full tin) mixed with sweetcorn and scallions & extra light mayo is very filling you could have that with baked potato for dinner

If things are very tight porridge is very filling when mix in 0-% fat Greek yogurt at the end or even a cheap yogurt to add sweetness

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 17/10/2019 16:31

Definitely life, I'm going to take it slow, I don't want to do anything that will jeopardise my recovery.

I'm similar to not and happier, I need to eat well in the evening, if not I attack the cupboards!

WreckTangled · 17/10/2019 18:03

Thanks. Today hasn't been too bad I don't think. Ate too much cheese again Grin

Wolfcub · 17/10/2019 19:30

Fish and chips for tea. Unhealthy act of hungry rushed parent desperation

lifelongfrugaleer · 18/10/2019 06:19

Hovering around 127 again. Totm though and haven't done full steps this week. Or stuck to calories.

We all have days like that wolf. Especially when busy. You ok?

Wolfcub · 18/10/2019 07:35

1/4lb up not a surprise. Bit sad and knackeredLife but hanging in there thank you.

Happierwithouthim · 18/10/2019 11:00

Only natural that you feel that way wolf your poor friends

Up today, I felt wiped yesterday, I ate lunch out panini with pesto/chicken/cheese and doritos on the side, can of diet coke. Dinner was bolognese & taglitelle all done in mfp recipe etc. Next meal was 2 cans of pepsi max, 2 mini burgers in mini brioche buns, all mfp'd. Then I picked at the dc's stuffed crust pepperoni pizza & had an animal bar & a choc mini roll.

I got my steps but drank very little water, will balance it out with lots of water today.
