That's great wolf!

lifelongfrugaleer · 11/10/2019 18:07

Consider it a carb refeed wolf. Grin

Wolfcub · 12/10/2019 08:11

1lb up after carb-gate this is not a Surprise

CamdenTownie · 12/10/2019 09:38

2.5lbs down since I weighed in on Wednesday- very happy, had a better day yesterday Smile

Weekends are always tricky so not sure how the next few days will end!

Have a great weekend everyone 👍🏻

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 12/10/2019 09:45

I think my scales are a bit wrong so I'm getting a new battery for it today, last week when I weighed myself, it kept going on and off.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/10/2019 18:01

Today was going so well until the 11,000,000 pizza hut calories being cooked for me.
Hey go. Birthdays are but once a year. There is always tomorrow

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/10/2019 08:11

And 6,000 calories chocolate.

No weight in this morning. DH brought me tea in bed

Wolfcub · 13/10/2019 09:12

Sts despite a bottle of wine numerous guns and a tonne of bread and cake

Happierwithouthim · 13/10/2019 09:28

Sts for me this week zero exercise so lucky to sts

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 13/10/2019 17:45

Hi all.
My weight is the same as last week, 78kgs.
I did just over 25000 steps yesterday, so that was good!

Happierwithouthim · 14/10/2019 06:12

Wow curvy serious stepsShock
I saw a lovely sts again this morning, no alcohol all weekend, did indulge in a massive biscuit slice thing fri evening but other than that food was good. Exercise non existent though Hmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/10/2019 06:28

Fab steps curvy

Well done happier.

Significant rise today. Not surprised given the weekend.
I'm going to give 1600 a bash to get me back into line. Travel today makes tracking lunch hard but I will have a salad box and track as much as I can

Wolfcub · 14/10/2019 07:14

Significant rise for me too bah humbug

Not2bObvious · 14/10/2019 07:37

Back from my break away, lost my 900+ day streak in mfp, clearly lost the plot too! Not stepping on the scales just yet. Feeling very bloated. I’m adjusting my cals down too, no idea how I’ll do but I’m at least going to work on eating more protein and less junk. Lashing rain here today, after 3 days of 25 degrees it’s a shock to the system! Back to the grind

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 14/10/2019 07:39

Ah you were really proud of that streak too.

Refocus today ladies

Not2bObvious · 14/10/2019 07:49

Yeah I was sick when I realised life, but then thought why not start afresh today? Well I have no choice😂 No forgiving clothes left in my wardrobe, not a hope I’m going out to buy more so yep back to basics. Of course what’s a right challenge is I’m away for 8 days in less than 2 weeks. Jeez my lifestyle is not conducive to weight loss

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 14/10/2019 09:17

But in those 8 days you can undo some of the previous damage to mitigate the 2 weeks away.

BlueEyedFloozy · 14/10/2019 09:36

Morning everyone, can I join please?

Really need to get my ample ass in gear! Lost a lot of weight with Slimming World but have put half back on since I stopped going a year ago...

I weighed in at 13st 9.9lbs (I'm 5"3) on Thursday and plan on heading to chemist to weigh in on big scales every week to keep it consistent.

I tried tracking calories and logging everything on MFP but find I get so bored worrying about every single gram. Anyone got any other useful methods that have worked for them? I'm planning on buying a smaller plate which should help.

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/10/2019 09:54

Hi blue.
We do a mix but most of us track on mfp.
Smaller plate will help and 80/20 nutritional sound food to small treats.
Nutritional dense food will help to reduce calories urgo lbs.
Do you still follow the SW principal? What worked for you in the past? Anything else?

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/10/2019 09:54

7242 steps already as quick walk to the station this morning

CamdenTownie · 14/10/2019 17:01

welcome Blue I got a smaller plate from Poundland, it's definitely helping my portion comtrol, I'm the same as you lost loads of weight at Slimming work over 4 years ago, now I'm only one stone lighter than I was when I started. Now trying to lose the 3 stone I've gained since quitting.

Porridge for breakfast today, banana, cracker bread and cottage cheese for lunch, tacos for dinner with salad 1147 cals.

Can't wait for dinner - I'm so hungry!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/10/2019 17:14

Huge protein filled salad for lunch (claimable too) still full. Wish someone would make me one each day. Went to the office to go to the gym but no kit. Must have taken it home to wash

Not2bObvious · 14/10/2019 18:00

That’s a decent number of steps before work life, I managed about 2,000 before I left the house jogging watching a video. Just hit 10,000 now. I’ve only eaten about 1100 so far today, so I’ve a bit to spare. I’m torn between wanting to cut wayyyy back for the next 12 days but scared I’ll go off the charts. Might try stick to 1500 since I don’t think I’ll get another 5,000 steps today.
Welcome blue, I too eat off a smaller plate, have for years and it definitely helps (of course I think I must be refilling it too much!) I wondered myself about trying to ditch mfp but I think I’d be even worse if I wasn’t tracking. Anyway best of luck, I’m sure you’ll do great.

Happierwithouthim · 14/10/2019 18:46

What was in it life?
I've eaten on the run today no planning 700 cals over already. Got road chicken pesto pasta meal deal in Dunnes for lunch, I doubt there was 20g of chicken in it!

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/10/2019 20:13

4cal over but lunch was mostly guessed

2 boiled eggs, 2 slices ham. Rest was table spoon measure. 2 each of Mediterranean cous cous, 2 mixed bean salad, 1 chopped bell peppers 1 coleslaw, 6 olives, 10 slices of beetroot, 4 grated carrot, balsamic dressing. Forgot to track the dressing. I forget the rest
Le yum.
