Why am I so bloody hungry when I stick to plan.
Huge chicken saag for tea

Not2bObvious · 02/05/2019 20:40

I’m hungry today too life, I think it’s inevitable some days when you’re eating in a deficit that are harder than others. As women it could be hormone related too. I feel shite. This the first day in a week that I’ve felt I could go over, I don’t know if I will or not. I may have already, had to guesstimate a piece of cake cals earlier.

Chicken saag sounds delicious 😋

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/05/2019 21:09

This one wreck

I won't go over not but it is difficult. I think I just need to get this restart week or of the way by sticking to it and I will be fine. Being tired didn't help

Not2bObvious · 02/05/2019 21:40

I’m sticking to cals too life, damn it’s hard though. I hope I feel better tomorrow- just a jump I reckon.

Hellooooo! Found you all again!

I fell off this group when I went to India 6 weeks ago, and struggled a bit with the diet for a while as well as with time to keep up with mn. Diet is going better again, time not so much but it really helps me to read this and post occasionally so I’m going to try to keep up. In a nutshell:

  • I put on about 7 lbs in India
  • it came off over a couple of weeks
  • but then I got a bit upset about losing my dad/granny last year when I got to their diagnosis week and I ate a lot of chocolate for about 10 days - so had another wee gain.

Anyway, with Christmas, holiday and that wobble it’s taken me a long time to lose my next stone (I’d got to -2 stone on the week before Christmas) but last week I made it. Am now 3st 3.5 lbs down on my starting weight AND I have passed my interim target... which was 12st 12. An important figure for me psychologically as I have now crossed the threshold into ‘overweight’ and am no longer obese!

It’s odd as I really think I look okay right now, and I feel it too. I want to lose more (and I will) but tbh if I was this weight forevermore it would be okay with me. Yet I am still borderline obese, technically. Maybe I have the opposite of anorexia if i think I look better than I do?! It helps that I am in proportion (though with fat legs - I just keep them covered Wink).

I haven’t read back because I don’t know where to start so will read from here forwards. I am glad you are all still going!

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/05/2019 06:31

Welcome back sea. Fantastic results there.

Today will be challenging as it's Gregg's Friday and there is a food festival in town so there will be treats. Gonna aim for calories only and as near as macros.
Body pump at lunchtime and steps will be got

WreckTangled · 03/05/2019 06:40

Welcome back sea that's a great loss!

Thanks life that's all stuff I usually have in so might try it.

Not2bObvious · 03/05/2019 07:22

Great to virtually see you again sea, that’s a brilliant loss (sorry for your personal troubles) You enjoy it, you earned it! If you’re happy where you and healthy then that’s brilliant.
Down another .6 today so my average is down by .9, gotta keep it up and I will hopefully see a full pound down on last weeks average. I’m going to do some sort of exercise this morning, might do a home workout since I can pace myself better - hmmm. I have 2 classes I could go to but this way I’d save €€ - I’m kinda trying to be frugal

Weight down. Food shopping this morning.

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 03/05/2019 08:56

Weight down but still up from where it should be if you see what I mean.

Happierwithouthim · 03/05/2019 09:32

Great result sea sometimes we settle on a weight that we're content with for a while before we push on again with another burst?

Wolfcubisthefemalenominal · 03/05/2019 10:39

Sea well done that’s fantastic

Not2bObvious · 03/05/2019 13:02

Turned up to the class and your woman running it had cancelled! I flipping asked was it on, no reply so I thought I’d chance itAngry

Anyway! Did the FBW at home, saved myself a tenner😬 Out with the bigger child, that’ll be the tenner spent & them some. Meals planned but steps a bit short, plenty of time to get them I suppose but feeling knackered

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 03/05/2019 14:59

No fbw as in a meeting. Steps looking ropey too

Not2bObvious · 03/05/2019 15:11

My steps are at my minimum 10,000 - I’ll try scrap the rest here & there. Another hungry day, lying down for a bit before I cook dinner. Need to stay away from the kitchen

Happierwithouthim · 03/05/2019 22:39

I ate lunch out & had this for dinner & still hit my cals & protein macro but not fibre or steps, long day tomorrow will be better Grin

WreckTangled · 04/05/2019 05:47

I did 10700 steps yesterday and you all know how rubbish my steps usually are!

For dinner I have roasted figs to start then Harris spiced chicken with couscous. It was v small portions too. So all well apart from the 1/2 bottle of wine 1/2 bottle of Prosecco g&t and bag of hula hoops Grin

Not2bObvious · 04/05/2019 06:38

Great steps wreck. I managed just over 12,000 - was under on protein and over on cals by 130 (pack crispsBlush)
Awake but not getting up for a bit. Going to read for a while to see if it makes me sleepy, I could happily go for another nap. Sleeping pretty good this week

Happierwithouthim · 04/05/2019 06:46

Wow wreck that's great going with steps

Not2 I've been trying to fall back asleep for 1.5 hours and it hasn't happened so I'm going to get cracking on the day

WreckTangled · 04/05/2019 06:46

We're going to go for a swim before breakfast Halo

Not2bObvious · 04/05/2019 06:48

That sounds lovely wreck, enjoy!
Are you going away todayhappier?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 04/05/2019 07:37

I came in at 14200 but really could not do the last 800.

All other stuff hit.

That looks lovely happier. What is it? Recipe?

Fab going wreck on those steps.

Missed fbw yesterday, will miss Sunday as it's church week and gym closed Monday. Will aim for steps and food and not have a shit weekend.

Not2bObvious · 04/05/2019 10:30

Scales now showing 162.1, a pound off last week. I’ve no plans to mess up today (famous last words!) so I’m pretty sure that’ll stay the same for tomorrow. I dozed back off for 1.5 hours, soo nice. Breakfast in bed soon
