Hi all... OK the sun is shining but the summer wardrobe just doesn't fit. I know that this is a temporary blip in the weather and it will rain next week but I would love to be a stone lighter by the time summer starts for real. I feel miserable - anyone want to join me. Starting tomorrow.

morris yep I'm low carbing so never touch sugar as if I eat it I just crave more so for me it's better to have none at all.
glitter it's really hard when you're sleep deprived - I feel for you.
beela well done on the sugar free day - after a couple of days of being sugar free the cravings subside completely.
Doing well here still although my TOTM is due so once I'm past that I will hop on the scales again.

I'm feeling a bit fed up as I'm actually eating quite a bit less than I was a couple of months ago, and have upped the exercise.........but seem to have plateaued. Ah well, onwards and upwards.

I found my old Jillian Michaels Shred DVD and started it this evening. I used to do it years ago when my kids were small and I was about 10lbs lighter. I was still 10st2lbs this morning so no loss over the weekend. I'm hoping the extra exercise might get me to 10st by the end of month.

@waistaway, I love shred! I am doing c25k at the moment but once that's in the bag I might have to dig my shred dvd out again.

It's not going brilliantly over here, I'm on damage limitation until after Easter I think!

I have to start properly today. My son is 14 months old so no longer a valid excuse for being 1.5 stone over my ideal weight. I just don't know how to do it. I have a beige food addiction.

I've actually managed to shift a couple of lbs! So pleased. Also started running again for first time since my dd was born. Managed 3.5km today........hoping to get up to 5km within the next couple of weeks. Went out for lunch today and had a salad, which had lots of avocado in, but that's ok........it's more carbs I'm trying to cut down on and I figure it's good to have some healthy fats.

How spooky! I have just stumbled on this thread and actually started my diet on 22nd February! The day being 18 weeks until my holiday Grin

So I am late to the thread but I’ve been with you all since the start!

Anyway tomorrow is weigh day but as of last week I have lost a stone. I have been using MyFitnessPal and doing at least 10,500 steps and five miles a day using my Fitbit so moving more and eating better is definitely working.

The eating I am finding fairly easy, the walking I have to do as much as possible very early with aching joints otherwise I wouldn’t bother and that is pretty tough some days, especially as I work from home so I don’t get any extra steps in through a normal commute or walking up and down a large open plan office. It’s all forced exercise.

Wow well done sparkly - that's fab. Back from hols (and I never posted a photo as wasn't quite at target) and felt very confident wearing a bikini for the first time in a while. Over indulged a fair bit so back on it now and will weigh once I feel I've reversed some of the damage!

Oh crap. I've lost the plot a bit recently.

On the one hand it's quite nice to know I can eat this much junk and basically maintain, but on the other hand I've just realised we are going on holiday in a few weeks! So I need to renew my efforts.

I'm not going to start tomorrow, that would be silly. But I am going to start on Monday, and any leftover chocolate will be foisted onto someone else.

I've been awful these last few days too. Let's have a fresh start on Monday and motivate each other to get back on the wagon. There are always going to be blips along the way but as long as we don't let those blips turn into weeks of bad eating then we'll be fine.

I have a plan and I’m feeling motivated.

What I started doing worked before in the end it was just very slow before the weight came off (partly as I was pre menstural i think) but I know I need to be super strict about the sugar.

I’m desperate for some summer confidence so tomorrow I’m going to wake and start as I mean to go on.

Who is joining me? Might start a new thread as this one is a bit long now and I could do with a weight and reset (I’m more than I started at I think Blush

I'm in for a fresh start tomorrow! Actually been pretty good diet wise with the exception of too much chocolate munched throughout the day today 🙈 which has probably cancelled out my good work. The kids needed some help with their Easter eggs!
