Chips with cheese & pink sauce is mine.

I had this & now have 35cals left, actually I'd have more left because I burned the pine nuts so had to throw them out Angry

Loving the DropChef dishes

Not will they be ok in a bread and butter style pudding your hot X buns?

Bella Italia tonight. Had a 600 Cal thing but it's not on mfp so can't log it. Kelly's honeycombs ice cream too. Le yum.

MacD and the rest you can keep. Only certain Chinese and Indian here.
Defo the more "good" food you eat the more you want.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/02/2019 19:21

Great park run time.
I'm debating body pump tomorrow or another couple of days rest ?

Not2bObvious · 16/02/2019 19:29

That might be lovely life, I’ve never actually had B&B pudding. I’ve a selection of them, Bramley apple, cranberry & orange, mini chocolate ones. I am a sucker for an M&S yellow sticker😋
I’m on nearly 13,500 steps, nearly 98,000 steps this week so far. I’d say go do body pump life, but see how you’re feeling in the morning. It’s the stuff we don’t do we regret more.
I’m going to make fancy pizzas tomorrow, trialing some ideas for a family lunch on Friday. Minor cheat on the bases, buying some artisan ones from a local shop. Trying to replicate a restaurant favourite of my bro’s for him as a little surprise. I only have the description, so could get it badly wrong but the trial run will help. My exercise tomorrow will be ingredient collection from probably 4 shops over a 4 mile radius. Fun times😬

Wolfcub · 16/02/2019 19:55

Not2 got cross buns make amazing bread and butter pud. As does brioche.

Ignore recipes for b&b it does not have to be complicated if you ever want to make one shout and I will give you my total doddle recipe

Not2bObvious · 16/02/2019 20:57

Yes pls wolf

Wolfcub · 16/02/2019 21:07

It’s dead easy I’ve been making it for 20+ years so have faith

Slice hot cross buns, butter lightly or don’t I am not wedded to the buttering.

Chuck in extra dried (or sautéed fruit) if you like. If I use dried fruit I might like to soak in a little whisky but I like booze

If you fancy it and if it goes with your flavours you could add a little Lemon or orange zest

Sprinkle sugar on every layer. I don’t like to go mad with this but I don’t like sweet things

Now here’s the trick. Most b&bs require you to make a custard. This is not necessary.

Break eggs into jug, I’d say six for a rectangular dish that was 9inches by 4 inches. Add two proper tablespoons of cream or milk per egg and then another three or four for the pot. You can put a teaspoon of vanilla in if you like but it’s not necessary. Whisk together lightly until all incorporated. Pour over buns. Add a bit more sugar on top.

Stick in oven at 180 ish for 25 mins. Check by inserting a butter knife. If it comes back with really wet custard on shove it back in for another five and keep checking until the knife is mainly clean. It will get some custard on it but you want it to be a set smear rather than a wet smear. Let it rest for five mins before serving.

Happierwithouthim · 16/02/2019 21:14

Just do quick add but it doesn't count your macros life

Wolf* yummy, I made it once using double cream & it was amazing

That sounds lovely wolf.

Does anyone have a dalh recipes to share that love. Trying a different tack next week.

Not2bObvious · 16/02/2019 22:05

Thanks wolf, that sounds really good, I think I might try it with the orange ones soon and add a little orange zest.
Hit my 15,000 but also ate 2000 cals! Sent myself off to bed as my hunger (well greed if I’m honest) if off the charts
I really like dahl too, but I think the recipes I found sounded too tricky but it could be I’m lazy. For years I avoided lots of recipes thinking they were too complicated, nope just being lazy

WreckTangled · 17/02/2019 06:38

Did over 10000 steps yesterday.

Had a fillet steak for dinner with chips (which I didn't eat all of). Drank a lot. Two glasses of wine (one big), a gin cocktail, two pornstsr martinis and southern comfort and lemonade. Today will probably be unhealthy.

Not2bObvious · 17/02/2019 07:28

How’s the head wreck? You’re probably fine since you can remember😉 You’re probably up early to go spinning, I was awake last Sunday cause my head was spinning!
Only 2 glasses of wine last night so nice & fresh today. Planning my shopping route to maximise steps and shopping success. I’ve a very specific list of items, and I’m keen to ensure I get them at the best price. Being frugal is good for my steps

WreckTangled · 17/02/2019 07:39

I'm not, I'm in a hotel! It's boiling hot and I've been awake since 4:30. Head is fine thanks to my trusty glass of dioralyte before bed Grin

Not2bObvious · 17/02/2019 07:45

What is it about hotels heating? I’ve had some horrible nights sleep or more accurately not much sleep in sweltering hotel rooms. Thanks for the free sauna eh? Good move with the dioralyte, that’s something I need to have on hand for slightly drinky nights - doesn’t take a lot to give me a banging headache. And if I drink a lot I’m critical the next day

Not2bObvious · 17/02/2019 08:05

One last post this morning, I’m down .4 this week😬 I know it’s hardly earth shattering but it’s going the right way. There’ll be no excuse of totm next week and I fully intend to get sh*t done and drop a full 1lb. Or better still 1.1lb to get into the 150’s

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/02/2019 08:32

No gym this morning as dh goes away while I'm there.
Not many steps either as I plan to sit allot

Wolfcub · 17/02/2019 09:12

Sitting sounds sensible Life, make sure all those germs have gone

1lb down

WreckTangled · 17/02/2019 10:13

Had a walk before the drive home. Sea air to wake us up Grin

Happierwithouthim · 17/02/2019 11:07

Wreck isn't it the worst feeling when you can't sleep after drink! A guy I knew would always have diaoralyte after drink too. I can't bring myself to drink it though.

Enjoy the walk, it's a damp day here & ds has been off school sick all week so it's a day for the house & decluttering.

I lost 0.8lbs happy with that for the week I had but of course I want more!

Next week my average will be under 160lbs Grin

Life enjoy the rest
Not2 good result for totm

Not2bObvious · 17/02/2019 11:45

That’s really good happier, well done.
Just shy of 12,000 steps done on my shopping and at the last stop I couldn’t get my key ingredient😖

WreckTangled · 17/02/2019 11:46

It's gorgeously sunny here. We're home now. I love dioralyte Grin

Happierwithouthim · 17/02/2019 11:56

Ah sugar have you to change what you're making now?

I skipped breakfast so having an early lunch of a lovely chicken burger with bacon medallions eat lean cheese burger sauce with 150g sf beans

Justanothermile · 17/02/2019 12:30

Sit and rest life, you rarely do.

I'm a fan of hydration tablets. I take a High 5 one daily. There's no calories in them but relevant electrolytes and Vit C. I take them due to how much running I do - I'm paranoid about being dehydrated.

So, 20 miles in the bag, lovely weather! Enjoyed the run, apart from the last two or three miles which are always tiring. Don't feel hungry so far but my stomach churns after long distance and I was out 2.5 hours.

Gym later for leg work and abs. I'm a fan of doing my heaviest weights on hard run days to maximise recovery time. The legs comply, just groan more than a normal day!

Food
Toast and marmite.
Three gels while running.
Will be a rainbow salad (couscous, soybean, pomegranate etc).
Pasta and vegan pesto with loads of grilled colourful veggies and a salad.

Not sure if I'll snack, might not be hungry but there's lots of hard boiled eggs and home made hummus if required.

Well done on losses guys, keep believing!

Not2bObvious · 17/02/2019 12:37

Nope sent himself out to a different shop. Close to 2 hours out between a 20 minute jog and the rest of it brisk walking I am done! Being a lazy lump, chilling on the bed watching crappy TV
