I lost 1/2 stone when I was in India for A month. Swimming everyday combined with a pretty much veg lifestyle. You might be surprised sea.

Half a chocolate bar, missed that. That's will power

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2019 08:32

That’s a brilliant loss sea, well done. I used to track down a pharmacy with scales on holiday, and pop in a few times over the holiday. It’d be in kilos so I’d be next found working out the stones/pounds. Not that it ever did me much good, I eat/drink like a loon when I’m away.
Scales down another bit - gotta be on point the rest of the week

zebrarobot · 13/02/2019 13:49

Well done on the loss @ChristmasSeacow 😊

Todays ok so far. My dh is in for day surgery on his knee so i dropped him off this morning and then went to aldi and picked up some packed lunch bits for ds1. Also got some of the Choc Shot stuff which is like chocolate spread but only 14cals a teaspoon. More of a dark choc flavour, and quite pricey at about £2 but i had such a treat breakfast this morning of toast and choc spread so im happy.

Waiting to hear from the hospital when to collect him. Workout done for today as well but steps not great as just been doing housework, on 4000 at the minute. Will be happy to hit 8k today i think.

Hope you're all wellz

WreckTangled · 13/02/2019 14:01

Sea that's great!

I drove passed kfc, Burger King, McDonald’s, Costa, Pizza Hut and M&S food. Didn’t go in any of them! Wanted to though Grin

Happierwithouthim · 13/02/2019 16:06

Today:

Curried sweet potato soup
Carrot sticks
Satsuma
Chocolate chip cookie

Pasta with homemade bacon and tomato sauce, 20g grated mozzarella
Rocket, cucumber and pepper

Still have 400 calories left Confused

Justanothermile · 13/02/2019 19:41

You don't know how big the chocolate bar was though seacow.😂. Well done on further losses. Up to you what you'd do on holiday - I don't weigh myself so I wouldn't think to on holiday but I guess I don't eat massively differently either.

Hope your DH is okay zebra.

Pasta sounds nice wrecked.

Foods today.
Peanut butter on toast and a banana.
Nutty whole grain salad, hard boiled egg, naked bar, few pieces of chocolate.
Small veggie pizza and a few oven chips.
Falafel and one cracker with hummus, one energy gel.

Just in from a 9.5 mile run at a speedy pace.

Definitely losing weight as folk are asking if I'm marathon training, which means I look thin/ill 😁😂

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/02/2019 20:08

I could eat a scabby horse and it's rider today.
Baked cakes for a sale tomorrow and will do scones in the morning. Not an on plan day for me then.

Not2bObvious · 14/02/2019 08:52

Morning all, happy Valentine’s Day! My kids love today, so despite being an old cynic I have to buy into it a bit. Nice dinner planned for tonight, I did 40 minutes on the treadmill before work to earn a little lead way. Scales down another bit, my average is down .4 so far this week. Now to keep it going til Sunday!

Not2bObvious · 14/02/2019 09:10

Lead way? Leeway even!

Today;

Goats cheese open sandwich

Dinner is veg tagine and pudding is a whole chocolate orange Grin

Not2bObvious · 14/02/2019 19:21

Chocolate orange....drool.....one of your 5 a day of course?

I’m mainlining chocolate, today will be a splurge day. No excuse really but totm is making resistance futile. And with chocolate we must have a cheeky 🍷

WreckTangled · 14/02/2019 19:31

Dh got it for me for valentines as he knows it's my absolute favourite!

Wolfcub · 14/02/2019 20:26

Porridge
Ham Sandwich, bag of crisps
Lots of cold pills

Pilates

Will probably have a couple of slices of toast and something later

zebrarobot · 14/02/2019 21:37

Had a chocolate rose & a gin tonight.
Also a doughnut. 257 calories over, not including exercise so figure i'll be okay. My first day more than 20 cals over since starting and worth it.

Super careful tomorrow though

ChristmasSeacow · 15/02/2019 00:04

Wreck as a diabetic how can you eat that much chocolate in one go? That’s not meant to sound lecture-y, I am genuinely curious. Can you do it as long as you titrate your insulin appropriately?

Hard couple of days with DS but I’ve stuck with Slimming World, I’d have felt crap about everything If I hadn’t. Peanut butter Halo Top to the rescue (I’m glad you saw the error of your ways Happier, now we can stay friends Wink).

All this virtue has its downsides. I made a Mexican bean salad for lunch and it leaked over my work rucksack and all my papers 😬. A cheese and pickle sandwich wouldn’t have leaked.

I’m definitely not going to weigh myself on holiday, btw. I’ll weigh before I go and when I get back as I’m curious. I’m going to loosen up while I’m away anyway and have COLD BEER! It’s one of life’s greatest pleasures in a hot climate.

Conquered my overeating on Thursdays yesterday - stayed within calories but didn't hit my macros at all.

Seacow Grin
Not2 sounds like you're having a good week
Zebra hope your dh surgery went well
Jam maybe you need to pack in a few more calories to avoid looking gaunt? My friend who I trained for last half with wanted to train again, I wasn't keen on the one she wanted to do in June but said I'd train anyhow cos I might do one in September. Just settled on this when chiropractor signed her off running & HIIT for 3 months Sad

Got DropChef this week with valentines code so 3 meals cost €9.85 Grin here's first one but seems they gave me everything except the meat for two, guess they've it already packaged. Delighted with this one for 400cals. And I'm going to put bbq salmon with the remaining cous cous for my lunch today

Wreck I wonder if your body thinks it's being starved on such low calories? Do you feel better since starting this regime because that's more important than the scales you know

On Wednesday I went to gym for a short session cos I was meeting a friend for a walk, she forgot about it, so I came home grabbed my hi viz and went for a quick run. My speed has improved so I was delighted with that. I'm going to try get back into doing that short run a couple of mornings a week before work.

Making pancakes for dc for breakfast, think I'll throw some protein powder into the mix & join them. I've got protein pancake mix too but feel like having normal pancakes 🥞

Have a good day everyone

That looks good happier! I don't know re the calorie deficit I'm worried I'm under counting. Also I can't keep away from chocolate 🤔 up again today anyway.

Sea with type one diabetes you carb count. Everyone has their own ratio of insulin:carbs (mine varies throughout the day but standard to start with is 1u:10g). So as long as I bol is for what I'm eating it's fine. I have the added advantage of having a pump so, instead of giving all the insulin in one go, I can spread it over a few hours which is especially helpful with high fat foods as it takes longer for your body to digest.

Wolfcub · 15/02/2019 07:21

Happier well done on getting past it. Meal looks nice.

I think I’m on for a break even week or a slight gain. We will see, all the salt/crap eating weight from last weekend has gone luckily

Not2bObvious · 15/02/2019 08:03

That’s a good deal for the meals happier, glad you’re feeling back to normal.
I absolutely gorged myself last night, I’m going to have to put the remaining chocolate out of reach. Scales flux’ed up but that’s fair enough. Average will still be down a bit if I record it, thinking of seeing how tomorrow’s weigh in goes first. Not quite cheating for my Team RH buds you might remember Richie saying 4-5 weigh ins will do for weekly (and purposefully leaving out a weigh in after a splurge)
If you are finding yourself reaching for chocolate wreck where you wouldn’t have before eating at these cals, you could be eating too little - either by undercounting or just by plan setting them aggressively low. Nothing wrong with 20% of junk in anyone’s diet. You can absolutely eat chocolate and lose weight, although not in the amounts I did last nightBlush

WreckTangled · 15/02/2019 08:14

Not2 I'm afraid I've always eaten loads of chocolate. Am eating less than I was Grin

ChristmasSeacow · 15/02/2019 13:44

I see Wreck, I thought that was the case: as long as the insulin matches you can eat what you like. Though I’m sure they recommend healthy blah blah. Grin

I d just has a healthy lunch but I really badly have the munchies. I wish someone would invent really good calorie-free chocolate. Or biscuits.
