No Not, I'm not following RH, I met someone today who is and said it might not be for me as they don't really cater for vegans, (obviously, I don't know how true that is and is just their opinion).
I just put my stats into mfp and that is what it came up with.
Thank you, it's good to know.

Oh there’s definitely very successful vegans on there. Honestly though if I were to describe team Rh and it’s principles simply and people followed it, they’d succeed but people just want there to be a magic they’re missing. The beauty of it is, if you properly believe & follow, is that you eat what you like and as long as you’re maintaining a calorie deficit over time, you’ll lose weight. Now if that’s a vegan option or meat meal it doesn’t matter. Yes some food make it easier to eat a bit less day in day out. Of course some foods are better for nutritio/satiety/etc but end of day - calorie deficit. Upping your exercise helps a lot. I know it’s said you can’t outrun a bad diet but I can run/walk enough that I can eat 1700 a day which I can live with

Not, oh definitely, I did think they were talking out of their arse.
It always amazes me, the front some people have got, they were very happy that they have found something that is working for them, and I think that's great.
But it doesn't make them an expert on others and it definitely doesn't give them the right to go round telling people that they are fat and should be eating x amount and doing x amount of exercises.

Got up to 13k steps yesterday.

Keep going with yoga wreck. You will get better. I was shite at Pilates on Thursday, gonna work on it.

Yes curvy, too many pseudo experts out there. Didn't realise you were vegan. Thought just veggie.

Weekends are a nightmare for me. Need to make a conscious effort to move

Wreck your DD's got the right attitude she's doing it & doesn't care if she's good or not, you'll improve too, she's going to be more supple than you anyhow.

I've zero chance of hitting my step goal for this week as I'd have to do 40000 between today & tomorrow & I won't but for first week back to work & no au pair I'm ok with that.

Hopefully next week H will be back to normal taking dc 3 times a week & I'll get my exercise back on track.

Plant based physique sorcha Flanagan is vegan following team Rh curvy & a few of them are following veganuary(vegan version of dry January) mind over platter is one. Even though you're not doing team Rh you might find them interesting to follow

I know when I get my protein in I'm more satisfied but I'm content if I stay within my calories too. This week was like a week one experience again as I hadn't grocery shopping done & I was chasing my tail a lot too so didn't plan well plus had scones two mornings at work, tracked but definitely threw my protein & fibre out.

Today I'm going to gym for just 45 mins as that's what fits in with my other plans. I thought it was open earlier but it's not so that'll have to do.

After I return from town my friend & I will go running & then it's blitz the house time until dc come home.

Day was planned differently but friend had to change running time.

What you aiming for with steps happier? I’m averaging around 12k a day this week, did mega steps yesterday which made up for my 950 steps on Tuesday. Sorry you’re missing your woman’s Christmas- I’ve never experienced that.
Lying in bed like a sloth. I’ll walk or jog at some point to get my minimum of 10,000 in but for now, lazy time

Weigh in this morning. The few pounds I put on between Christmas and new year have gone back to 15st. Hopefully I will get back to the 14.5 I was before mid Septemberish if I put my mind to it

Well done wolf, goes to show it can just be bloat & will dissipate once normal behaviour is resumed. I think my problem was I’d bloat up, see a mad number on the scales and think f* it may as well enjoy myself. So I’d lay down another layer.
Scales marginally up by .6 but haven’t had any movement, ahem apologies, since Thursday. Very frustrating.

I aim for 15k but at the minute am happy with 12 min
Bloat now gone. Just flab to go. Grin

Hi can I join you ?
#notonadiet
Keen to keep up healthy eating and exercise this year.
I cycle/gym/walk daily as have a walking/cycling commute .
Spent £54 yesterday with lots of veg, salad and fruit included in that.
I found adding a portion of salad to everything last year really filled me up.

I'm aiming for 70000 a week.

Women's Christmas is a girly get together usually with secret Santa.

Well done wolf normal routine makes a massive difference

Quite good tip about portion of salad. I did that before why did I stop? Hmm
I try to include a portion of veg with every dinner I didn't do that previously.
Thurs night was carbonara made with spinach pasta & portion of green beans mixed in.
Tonight is chicken curry will have mixed veg in I think.

Friend cancelled on me so I've blitzed the kitchen & going to go for 5k by myself now.

I like a side salad with curry. No lettuce just (small) diced celery, cucumber, pepper and tomato. Would do a shallot too if I have any. If I'm having dahl I'll put it on top to give it a nice fresh crunch. Yum

They were out of most fresh fruit & veg when I did grocery shopping this week so there'll be no salad tonight, I've got spinach & tomatoes so will add them to the instant pot with curry

I made a sweet potato risotto while the others had take out and it was delicious.
Choc protein shake after the cinema. Then will have 3 ish Cal left.
Not hugely convinced of the accuracy of the risotto but gonna go with it as I'm hungry

We are having a traybake of random bits. Small sausages (the type you wrap in bacon for Xmas) gnocchi, Mediterranean veg and olives. It may be lovely, it may be terrible

It was very well behaved wolf, to a degree. All dry dishes, no rice for me although I did have half a garlic naan...and half a bottle of red. Having a cocktail at home now, may be in bed by 9! And by that I mean asleep as I’m knackered

Evening all.
Hi Quite.
Have been busy getting everything ready for Monday as back to work for me and school for the DCs.
My steps are usually pretty rubbish at the weekend as that is when I usually stay home and do the bigger tidying jobs.
But went for a jog today so did 6358 steps.
Have eaten 3 meals today and a mince pie, wreck, I don't know how you have the self control to only eat half!
life I had to be veggie yesterday as there was no vegan option, so had an egg and cress sandwich, which I definitely regretted later on.
Not, sounds like a lovely evening
