Hello,
I was wondering how much weight u fellow vlcd people have lost in the space of 10 weeks. I am planning to attend a friends wedding in 10 weeks and am attempting to loose weight. I am abit 5 stone overweight so i am desperate to loose some weight using exante till the wedding.
Looking forward to hearing your success stories.

I thought food week was in week 13? It is on Slim and Save and Cambridge. I won’t be doing food in week 4 of Exante, no.

Scales have dropped again today, down 9.5lbs since Saturday Grin love the week one losses!

paranoiamumma · 21/06/2018 14:37

Hi guys , can I join you , I been doing lipotrim .
I was 18.12 on the 05/06 and I am now 17.10 I weigh every Tuesday . I need to aim to lose about 6 stone😔😫.
I have done this once before about about 7 years ago and managed to keep it off till late 2016 then life got in the way .

Wetdogloveshubert · 21/06/2018 15:11

Ronny my scales have shown fluctuations daily (and ahem by movements) - including up to +3lb, so don't be disheartened!

I am going to two social engagements next week - the first I may avoid all food and alcohol, but the second is dinner with friends so I'll be introducing food that evening! I will be on week 3, so a little early maybe but I am also moving away from shakes-only to the other options offered by Exante, including the bars and meals, so it shouldn't shock my system too much other than knocking me out of ketosis.

paranoia well done on getting back on top of it Smile

Thisgirlcancancan · 21/06/2018 16:07

Sounds like everyone is doing well. Well done Ronny for hiding the scales.

I met friends last night for dinner and broke my fast. I’d planned to do that even though it was only day 4. My problem usually is getting back to the shakes etc afterwards, I always have good intensions but never quite manage it but I can happily say I’ve been right back on it today so feeling really pleased and proud of myself. The next break I’m taking is lunch with friends the weekend after next.

Unobtainable · 21/06/2018 17:21

Does anyone else find that they fall off the waggon every couple of weeks? Not majorly, just a packet of crisps or a slice of bread/toast after a stressful day.

TyrionLannistersShadow · 21/06/2018 18:38

I had my week 8 weigh in this morning and was only down 0.4kg which was disappointing but I expected it because I had a good loss last week. So overall it's 12kg in 8 weeks which is great, I'm wearing jeans now that I haven't worn in over a year! I've ordered another 2 weeks worth and I'll see how things go. I haven't done the recommended food week myself because I felt it would tempt me to eat too much, I am used to the products now and I am not tempted by real food at all.

paranoiamumma · 22/06/2018 07:20

Tyrion that's an excellent loss overall , I don't eat anything either although lipotrim doesn't have a recommended food week , once you get on it , I find it's best to stay clear and weirdly if I crave food I make it for the family and that seems enough to stop
Me Wanting it .

Ronnyhotdog · 22/06/2018 07:37

Tyrion that’s exactly what i’m Worried about, if I start eating will I be able to stop. 4 weeks in just seems very early. I’m going to try and have a 200cal meal and you’re allowed up to 10g carbs. That way I’m still only having 800cal a day, I should stay in ketosis.

paranoia how are the Lipotrim shakes? I tried them about 12 years ago and they were vile.

paranoiamumma · 22/06/2018 16:06

Ronnie, i don't find them so bad I usually have ice in them coffee , but I only have the vanilla and choc I don't like strawberry flavour at all.
I think at times I prefers the ease of this than actual stress of eating lol.

paranoiamumma · 22/06/2018 16:06

Oops Ronny sorry

ThatsWotSheSaid · 23/06/2018 00:07

Day 17 finished and I’ve lost about a stone!
Next mile stone is being in the ‘over weight’ category. I’m determined to stick to this until I am healthy and hopefully gorgeous Wink

Thisgirlcancancan · 23/06/2018 09:26

Thatswot well done on your one stone loss that’s amazing in 17 days.
Day 7 for me and apart from one planned meal on day 4 I’m still going strong. Apart from being boring it’s so much easier than thinking about what to eat everyday and always feeling guilty at the end of each day about what I’ve eaten. I’m in so much better a mood because I don’t have that constant guilt at the moment.
Hope everyone manages to stay strong this weekend.

Ronnyhotdog · 23/06/2018 10:06

Thatswot that is brilliant, well done!!!

Thisgirl well done on planning your meal then getting back to it. Week 1 win for you.

It was hard for me not being able to get on the scales this morning. I feel heavy. Only 1 day until I can get on them and find out.

Happy Weekend Smile

amusedbush · 23/06/2018 10:58

Week one complete and it’s 10lbs off! Grin

I’ve got enough products for another week so I’ll do another order on pay day. 18 weeks until my graduation ceremony and 21 weeks until we go on holiday so plenty of time to make a real difference!

MrBeanTeddy · 23/06/2018 12:27

Please reassure me!!

2 days after starting the VLCD diet, I ended up in hospital with Viral Meningitis.

Tell me this is an unlucky coincidence!!

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 23/06/2018 13:36

Thats great amusedbush, well done

Clairetree1 · 23/06/2018 13:40

I'm on 800 calories a day and haven't lost anything in 2 weeks Sad

Clairetree1 · 23/06/2018 13:41

I've been given some exante sachets, but not sure what to do with them. I mixed half of one into a cup of hot water, it didn't taste very nice! There are no instructions on them.

Ronnyhotdog · 23/06/2018 14:16

claire are you sure? All mine have the instructions on the back. The shakes you mix a full sachet with 200ml of water, although I use 400ml because I don’t like them thick. What have you been having the last 2 weeks?

mrbean poor you, I’d say that’s a very unlucky coincidence. I hope you’re feeling better soon.

amused well done, that’s excellent

Gemi33 · 23/06/2018 16:31

Hi everyone

I've found my way over here (thanks amusedbush) and I am in the process of reading through the whole thread. I have about 5 stone to lose and I am intending to start exante next week (currently recovering from a medical procedure so just want to be properly recovered). I am going on holiday in 20 weeks (as of next week) and I am desperate to lose as much as possible before then. I am intending to do the total solution and I think properly just shakes rather than any of the other products. I am just now placing my order to make sure I have everything here ready. They have an offer on for a 2 week bundle so I'm going to do that initially to make sure I like it enough that I can do it! No idea what flavours are good so would welcome recommendations or any tips,

xx

Gemi33 · 23/06/2018 16:38

Can't decide whether to include any of the soups or porridge in my order or just stick with shakes, has anyone tried them?

xx

amusedbush · 23/06/2018 16:48

I did the two week bundle too, will be buying my next four weeks worth at payday 👍🏻

I personally don’t like any of the meals, porridges or pancakes so I stick to shakes and bars.

Ronnyhotdog · 23/06/2018 17:04

I’m not keen on any of the meals, porridge or soups. The best one is sweet and sour noodles but I’d rather just have the shakes & bars. I like all the shakes, I don’t like the smoothies. Bars my fav is the toffee, nut & raisin, jam & yogurt, chocolate caramel & chocolate orange.
I tend to have 2 shakes and then have a bar with black coffee at 7pm. It seems to satisfy any evening cravings I used to get.

Good luck with it

Gemi33 · 23/06/2018 17:06

Thanks! I've just stuck with the shakes this time and ordered a few of each flavour to find out what I like. Hoping I don't absolutely hate any so I can at least get through the first 2 weeks and then I can try something different when I next order.

xx

Gemi33 · 23/06/2018 17:11

At the last minute I added a few of the bars - I wasn't going to but thought that in case I get desperate for something other than a shake they are obviously a better option than just grabbing something unhealthy - thanks for the help!

xx
