Hello,
I was wondering how much weight u fellow vlcd people have lost in the space of 10 weeks. I am planning to attend a friends wedding in 10 weeks and am attempting to loose weight. I am abit 5 stone overweight so i am desperate to loose some weight using exante till the wedding.
Looking forward to hearing your success stories.

I’ve been having chewing gum wetdog my mouth feels awful, I’m very paranoid it also smells

amusedbush · 19/06/2018 14:50

Keto breath is a killer and last time I did VLCD long term I honestly just stank in general. Like... everywhere Blush

It lasted about two weeks and it didn’t matter how much I bathed. I googled and apparently being pongy is really common in ketosis but it does pass.

ChampagneCommunist · 19/06/2018 18:44

I'm on day 19 and haven't lost any weight for 8 days.

Three shakes a day, a couple of cups of tea & that's it. 800 cals a day.

How can I lose nothing for over a week?

amusedbush · 19/06/2018 20:12

ChampagneCommunist

That must be so frustrating - I can’t imagine sticking to such low calories for no movement on the scales. How much milk are you having? Could you be quite carb sensitive?

Are the scales wobbling up and down each day or just not moving at all?

ChampagneCommunist · 19/06/2018 21:00

Not wobbling at all. Just having the milk needed to make the shakes & enough for 2-3 cups of tea.

I'm at nearly 3 weeks of VLCD and have lost only 6 lb

Ronnyhotdog · 19/06/2018 21:22

What shakes are you having champagne ?
Are you drinking plenty of water?

ADayAlwaysHasToEnd · 19/06/2018 21:44

@ChampagneCommunist are you sure your shakes are meant to be made with milk. With most its water to get to the 800 calories

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 19/06/2018 21:44

I've struggled today. Just kept wanting to pick at things, was cutting the crusts of dd sandwich and I've never wanted a bread crust more. Had to really focus myself on it being weigh day tomorrow.

ChampagneCommunist · 19/06/2018 21:56

Yes, it's XLS, you use milk. I always drink quite a lot of water, but will try & drink more

GetInMyNelly · 19/06/2018 22:10

Hey guys so I'm finishing day one, although I've not felt hungry, I've felt increasingly faint!

I'm having horrendous vertigo, tell me this stops eventually?!!

Ronnyhotdog · 20/06/2018 07:21

champagne that’s really frustrating for you. Sorry I don’t have any ideas of why the scales aren’t moving. Have you taken measurements to see if you’ve lost inches? Does the diet have a fb group that you could ask others who are using xls for their help?

getin the feeling faint will eventually go. Push through it, drink plenty of water and take the first few days easy. You’ll get through it.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 20/06/2018 09:02

Weighed in this morning 6lbs this week, very happy, total is 13lbs over 2 weeks

Ronnyhotdog · 20/06/2018 09:15

That’s excellent, well done minnie

Wetdogloveshubert · 20/06/2018 10:10

Great stuff minnie that's really good news.

Champagne the scales have gone down a little for me, but I have noticed a change in my body shape more than anything - I'm on day 10 and my jeans are looser. Don't get disheartened - it may be just your body readjusting to the new diet before properly reducing fat.

Getin like Ronny said, the faintness does go. Do remember to drink lots though, and take it easy - pushing yourself to be very active is not the best idea while in the initial week(s) unless you're normally very active.

Wetdogloveshubert · 20/06/2018 10:12

@minimalist99 how are you doing?

NotNewHereJustNewAccount · 20/06/2018 11:02

Hey guys, can I join?

On day 2, just having my first shake of the day.

Stood on the scales and I'm 2lbs down (although I did research that for the first week will be water weight).

Looking forward to seeing the weight go down!

83 days to go.

TheGirlWhoLived · 20/06/2018 12:36

Just ordered my first couple of weeks! Hoping to join y'all when my stuff gets delivered tomorrow :):) Not going to start until Saturday as I have a wine and cheese night to go to Friday night, but I think starting at the weekend when my motivation is highest would be great. I'm going to do 5.5 weeks before I go off on a lovely weekend away with my husband!

Might do another couple of weeks when I get back, we'll see! Ordered a range of things but having looked at other websites, is there usually more things you can order (e.g. pizza type meals, carbonara, different meals?)

Not sure if they have stopped these altogether or just out of stock, but would be interesting to know. Also if anyone needs a top up, CLOUD50 gets 50% off everything at the moment, Runs out on 1st July afaik.

Starting weight: 14st 5lbs, going to weigh in on a Saturday I think :)

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 20/06/2018 13:20

Thanks ronny and wetdog

amusedbush · 20/06/2018 15:40

Day five today and I’m already so bored of this and of not snacking. You don’t realise just how often you eat until you can’t!

The scales are down a little again this morning though, so 7.5lbs so far.

MrBeanTeddy · 20/06/2018 20:04

@amusedbush that's amazing!

My second day went wrong, I wasn't feeling well so decided 5 bags of crisps, 4 packs of chocolate buttons and a bowl of cereal would make me feel better. Won't lie, it did!

Instead of jumping completely off the wagon, I've decided to write today off and start again tomorrow.

Ronnyhotdog · 21/06/2018 07:24

Well today the scales have gone up, how is that possible? My body is clinging to this fat for dear life.
Those doing Exante, did you or are you planning on doing the food week in week 4?

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 21/06/2018 10:38

Is that a weekly weigh in ronny or are you weighing daily?

Ronnyhotdog · 21/06/2018 11:12

I’m weighing daily. Scales have now been hidden, I’ll be weighing on Monday only from now on.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 21/06/2018 11:32

I fluctuate from day to day but I only count my loss weekly, its hard not jumping on daily Smile

Ronnyhotdog · 21/06/2018 11:54

I know, they’ve been going gradually down in ounces everyday then suddenly jumped up 1lb 6. It’s not made me want to give in I’ll know I’ll get a whoosh at some point soon. I’m just a bit worried about the food week next week.
