what a shame dr - but no gain either? Good luck on the camp - sounds exhausting. Try & say no to anything sugary.

Food for today:
B = all bran desperate hope my digestion gets activated again

L = small cube cheese & New Covent Garden soup skinny thai sweetcorn chowder.

D = will be chicken pesto pasta, sub broccoli for most of pasta for me

S = water, lots of. Might have an apple later.

Am on mum-taxi service late this eve, so that rules out Wine

Glad you are feeling better not, and full of beans as always.

caggie09 · 23/06/2017 19:46

I done so well up until now. TOTM came not long after the gym. ive been eating crap this evening. I added them into MFP though, cant act like it hasnt happend. Ohwell, new day tomorrow!

Not2bObvious · 24/06/2017 18:05

Totm can be shaky ground caggie, I used to struggle dreadfully but to be honest I think I was suffering from a self fulfilling prophecy. I always used it as a reason to snaffle the crisps & chocolate which are pretty much gateway drugs, once you start you can't stop! I just had to stop letting it happen, I could have 1 week ruin 3 weeks hard work. I'm aware I'm making it sound v simple, it was far from it. I used to take the pill back to back for months to avoid totm and I couldn't keep doing that. I still struggle but it's definitely mind over matter.
Good enough behaviour yesterday & today but the night is young😉

caggie09 · 25/06/2017 19:30

I did manage okay yesterday, I let myself have a bar of chocolate in the evening. It was in my calories, so not to bad. I seem to be so bad for wanting a snack at night rather than through the day! TOTM either makes me lose my appetite, or want to eat more. Cant win really!
I do agree it is mind over matter, had a cookie before, and I could of demolished the whole box. I put them back, normally I would of gobbled the whole lot down. Saying that, Ive had myself a little pamper night after a long boring day at work, had to treat myself to some noodles from the takeaway to make it more ''pamper-er''
I am back at the gym tomorrow morning so hoping it wont do to much damage. I can allow myself a treat, but not everyday! Blush
Hope everyone has a had a good weekend and not been a piggy like me! Biscuit

Total writeoff of a weekend at Guide camp but back in the saddle (probably the bike saddle at some point) tomorrow.

Inthesleeplessnightgarden · 25/06/2017 22:04

Back in the saddle with you Dr. Write off of a weekend as went away with girlfriends and went so far off track i reckon I'll have gained 5 pounds. Wine, Camembert, cake, chips. Daren't add it to MFP for fear of the app exploding. Still, back at it tomorrow. Still chasing the illusive final half a stone.

Bathsheba3 · 26/06/2017 08:12

Another write-off weekender here! Back on the case today. Half stone plus a couple more lbs after the weekend is all it is for me too In - but the closer I get, the harder it seems to be.

What I did do this weekend was take myself off shopping. Reckoned that if I hold-out for much longer - i.e. 3/4 weeks - for holiday clothes - once the sales have finished it will be winter woolies out on the racks. So I got a few bits. My biggest splurge was to go into a v posh undies shop and get properly fitted for a bikini.

LETS GO FOR IT

Not2bObvious · 26/06/2017 08:26

Well done caggie, sounds like you managed v well and v little puffing out done. For the rest of us weekend warriors - let's just say TG it's Monday😉 Yesterday was off the charts at well over 3000 but the rest of the weekend was 2000 or less which is as good as it gets. And as I'm still losing around 1lb a week I'm not concerned.
Exhausted this morning, at a show last night and I walked/danced/ran my legs off. No idea what exercise I'll do today, maybe just a walk or treadmill while listening to podcast session. So are we bring our A game this week?

caggie09 · 26/06/2017 18:50

I feel really positive today. Thinking about future me. Thin and healthy! Grin Knocked my calories down to 1760, to 1670. The 1670 is what MFP originally gave me, so sticking to them from now on. Other wise extra calories go on crap!
Ive had a good day food wise, full up now from tea. Got 280 cals left. Doubt ill have anything else this evening!

Not2bObvious · 26/06/2017 19:24

Very good caggie, hope the cut in calories is positive.
I'm wrecked, got a hiit workout done plus treadmill walk/run. Hoping sleep comes easy tonight

Feeling a bit low, so struggling to keep away from food. Plan of action today is to try and keep busy, drink loads water, and have an early night. On the plus side I did go out for a run and do some weights. On the negative it was only 1 lap of the park, 20 mins (but quite a brisk pace clutching at straws), and only 10 mins weights. Supermarket delivery arrived. Thankfully no crisps, but there are biscuits. I may need to lock them in the car and park it down the road.

Not2bObvious · 27/06/2017 15:10

Oh dear, you sound low bath. Don't be starving yourself, you need to eat especially if you're feeling low - could be linked to hunger or blood sugar. You've lapped everyone sitting on the couch so don't be minimising your efforts. Hope you feel better soon, always know when you're not feeling it - the silence speaks volumes😉
Speaking of silence jonty you out there?

Hi guys, so since Monday ive been doing pretty well. Maybe because ive been busy with work! TOTM ended and weighed myself to see if it made a difference. It has! But not holding my breath as I could be back up by Friday. Still got my positive attitude towards this. I joined a slimming world/weight loss group on Fb for some more motivation, really helps seeing other peoples before and after pictures!
Again not much done in exercise as ive been at work, so I guess my walking will have to count as that. :)

Bathsheba3 · 29/06/2017 11:30

Well done caggie. It's amazing what a positive attitude does heh? Thankfully I think my cloud has lifted, and feeling loads better in myself. Can't believe that I even had to go out for crisps on Tues after all - things really were that bad!!! But binge done and dusted now.

How are you doing Not? Your note was lovely, thank you. Are you in the 10s yet?!!

Not2bObvious · 29/06/2017 14:03

I'm in some size 10 clothes, that's the closest I'll get to 10 stone this side of summer bath😉 You sound in better form. Only 1 week to go until my holiday, I'm away for the weekend but I'm confident I'll be fine (

ha ha not

drspouse · 29/06/2017 16:28

Marginally OK week in that I haven't been massively over like at the weekend! I very much doubt I'll lose this week, just trying not to gain. Onwards and upwards...

caggie09 · 29/06/2017 21:41

Another good day :) Spent about 3 hours walking around town today, around 17,000 steps so that's been my exercise today! Yesterday I noticed my work pants seem to be feeling loose, I don't know if its wishful thinking though! Haha. Last Friday of the month tomorrow, I started the month on 12st 4, so ill see what I end the month on!

Not2bObvious · 30/06/2017 06:21

Well done on the steps caggie, best of luck for your weighing in, be good to see how you fared over a month. I looked back myself to check and I've lost 4lb since the 30th May, that's good enough for me! Scales is 11.5.8 compared to last Friday's 11.5.6 - so pretty much a maintenance week, I worked hard so I'll see it next week before my holiday. It's made me even more determined not to lose my sh*t this weekend, I have no time for setbacks! Lots to do today before setting off for the weekend, at least that'll keep my head out of the fridge for a few hours😉

OP posts:
Inthesleeplessnightgarden · 30/06/2017 07:40

Well done Caggie and Not - hoping the scales show good numbers for you after your good weeks.
The scales were kind to me on Weds (weigh in day) despite my off plan weekend, showing 72.8 which is a low a think. However....... yesterday I lost all sense and ate 2 twirls and a bag of Maltesers. Dont know what possessed me. Was like the bad old days of unnecessary binging. Only had them in the house as off camping this weekend and bought them for the kids 😳Anyway, think this weekend will be a write off due to booze and barbecues but will do my utmost to maintain rather than gain.

drspouse · 30/06/2017 12:01

1lb off today - strongly suspect it was actually last week's loss not this week!

caggie09 · 30/06/2017 15:34

You can do it Not! I believe in you!
In Ahh yes, I used to be such a pig when it came to chocolate and crisps, id sit with a big bag of crisps, get through them and then have some chocolate. Now I feel guilty if I have a little binge, I know its not even worth it now.
I lost 2lbs this week, I'm finishing June at 11st 5. Even though ive been logging for 35 days, and taking pictures every day since, I can actually see a small difference! Looking less bloated, and my skin is in good condition at the mo! Would love to end July at 11st!
Also do you think age factors into how fast you lose weight?
Have a good weekend everyone Grin

Bathsheba3 · 30/06/2017 15:46

Well done on the loss caggie & Dr and In, and the maintenance Not - which is just as important! Keep up the good work everyone Star

Not2bObvious · 30/06/2017 19:59

Did you lose 13lb caggie? Omg that's fierce! You go girl😉 I'm having a lovely day, got a 35 minute run in, got the hair done, got to the place I'm staying for the weekend did a big walk so I've nearly 17,500 steps done. Here's to us all having a great weekend!

OP posts:
buggerthebotox · 30/06/2017 22:11

Can I join in? Been back on MFP for 50 days and only gone over my allowance onceHalo.

I think I've lost half a stone in that time (already lost a stone before this).

I've done 30 mins of weights and an hour's walk. I'm NOT going to eat back any calories.

I find it slow going as I'm old. Any other oldies out there?
