My golden days are paying off - down to 9'11 this morning!
Challenge will be this weekend and not derailing!

Hope you all have wonderful Friday's. I have to go to a boring meeting.

Bang on 10.10. meh. Thursday normally involves more exercise than it did yesterday as I switched around my work days this week so maybe that's the problem. But I have work again today too and the chances of me hauling my ass to the gym or for a run are slim. Though not impossible. I will keep it in mind.

KOKO What I love about intermittent fasting (16:8, 5:2 etc) is that you don't have to be brilliant everyday. Try a little change up and don't berate yourself for needing a break from it all.

HairsprayBabe · 17/02/2017 08:03

Morning all,
Scales were very indecisive this morning, skipping between 11.10 and 11.11 so I shall take it as 11.10 1/2! Still feeling very sniffly.

KOKO don't worry, I have had a shocking month so far and I am hoping to turn it around in the next week I won't get my 7 lbs this month but a net loss on 11.10 I will be happy with, next month isn't nearly as social for me so I should do better!

AF is due soon, I can feel her I am all blown up like a blimp!

KikisDeliveryService · 17/02/2017 08:05

Sorry, crosspost Koko. I've dropped the wine for the moment and I'm not missing it. But I realise that's not an easy ask.

What's helping me keep going, even though the weight loss is so vey depressingly slow and difficult, is having a serious fitness target. My weekend 'treat' is now training rather than tv/wine/snacks. Again, I appreciate that that's not an easy mindset to switch into but perhaps worth some consideration?

KikisDeliveryService · 17/02/2017 08:09

I must admit though, this whole thing is a lot easier without all the toddler food prep that has to happen. Pre-teen/teens do not leave a crumb untouched. Sometimes it feels like a swarm of locusts have been through the kitchen. I do a lot of grocery shopping these days.

BeyondUnderthinking · 17/02/2017 08:11

It's gonna be dehydration weight following the wine, but I'll take it...

I'M AT MY LOWEST!!!! WOOOOO!!!!! Grin

She has a marvellous embonpoint Arsey

BitOutOfPractice · 17/02/2017 09:10

Well done beyond. Excellent work. Especially with wine Star

I'm 5lbs down from 1 Feb. But not at my lowest ever. I'm still a pound away from that. Finding it quite dispiriting to have to keep re-losing the same weight over and over again.

Star for you Beyond very well done indeed. That is magnificent!

KOKO toddlers totally fuck up dieting. Little swines leave their fish fingers and lovely chips on purpose. I always seemed to have 2 dinners when my girls were tiny, the remains of theirs and then mine later on. The only solution I found was to IMMEDIATELY chuck their dinner remains in the bin or feed them to the dog before I could scoff the lot. Or eat with them and make dh eat alone later. Can you work with your week ie be strict Sun-Thur and then relax and eat/drink what you like for Fri & Sat?

Softpebbles · 17/02/2017 09:23

Well done beyond - great news. X

BOOP better to keep losing it then to continuously gain it and I bet next week it will fall off.

Not doing to well here in all areas. 😬 Meant to be out tonight for an Indian. I think I am going to bail out.

BitOutOfPractice · 17/02/2017 09:28

KOKO have you watched how to lose weight well on c4. Lots of diets on there. Maybe there's a "new" one that might appeal.

I'm 9 st 9.8 today and yesterday. Started week at 9 st 12. Very pleased as mentally I feel better being close to 9 and a half stone rather than close to 10 stone. I acknowledge it is probably mostly water loss and I shall have to remain determined to maintain this and reduce fat further! Two swims and one run so quite an active week for me. Had a few small treats and half term reward red wine last night (after run??). Just relieved the scale is moving again as I consistently hovered around 9 stone 10 all last year and thought my body had found its 'happy weight' which isn't my happy weight. I'd love to be 9 stone and maintain that weight!

BitOutOfPractice · 17/02/2017 11:12

I've just had a sneaky peek on my own scales and was very pleased. They usually weigh a few Lindas heavier than my gym scales.

We've just resolved to do our first ever park run tomorrow. I'm nervous. I'm always nervous before a race. I know it's not a race but you know what I mean

Just started downloading "how to diet well"...

Millie04 · 17/02/2017 11:21

BOop I'm also considering doing a park run. The 9am start has thus far put me off but as mornings are getting lighter I must make an effort as it's something I can do with children who are 9 and 12. It's not competitive as far as I know so don't feel nervous and caters for all levels, or the ones in Cornwall do anyway. I've never done a race before. Not really my motivation for running.

Archduke · 17/02/2017 11:23

OOoh BOOP I hope you love Parkrun. I totally and utterly have top love for it, I dunno if the Brit Parkruns are the same but my one here is so lovely and friendly and inclusive and fun I am a total Parkrun bore. Don't be nervous, just enjoy it.

Well done Millie you're doing brilliantly.

Just been out to watch dd do some netball trials. I had 3 glasses of wine, which is the most I've had since my last hurrah NYE and I feel bloody fantastic. God I love wine

Millie04 · 17/02/2017 11:37

I find that the less I eat the less I want to eat. Must remember this this. Must be why the 16:8 fast works for me.
