HairsprayBabe · 13/02/2017 14:41

A cup of Marmite!
How the hell do you eat it? with a spoon Confused
I love marmite but I don't think I could eat a whole cup of it.

KikisDeliveryService · 13/02/2017 14:49

Lol hairspray it'll be a teaspoon melted into a cup of hot water!

KikisDeliveryService · 13/02/2017 14:49

Sorry you're ill quim BUT new kitchen at last, hurrah!

BeyondUnderthinking · 13/02/2017 14:51

"a cup of marmite" Grin Grin

Presumably that'd be even more than a jar!

HairsprayBabe · 13/02/2017 14:59

HA Cheers BOOP Grin
I really need to get back in the zone!

lastqueenofscotland · 13/02/2017 14:59

Beyond are you doing under 1000 calories every day Shock

Stellar67 · 13/02/2017 15:19

Balking at cup of marmite diet....

I'm feeling virtuous today. I'm even going swimming while DCs go for a splash.
Although I'll probably do two lengths then sneak into the steam room.

I bought the Tom Kerridge book at its £6 on Amazon. I need to stop buying books, but it's got some nice recipes. And it doesn't look like I have to venture to a biodynamic deli in France for the ingredients.

Squiffy01 · 13/02/2017 15:22

Ha glad I read further I was a bit wtf at the cup of marmite too Confused

I have logged all my meals last night which sat at 700 and something calories if only I could not snack the weight would drop off!
Am plodding along so far so goodish, had a bit of red lentil Dahl I made the kids but as its veg I don't feel too bad, it was just a few spoons to make sure it wasn't to spicy for them.
Have done 12k steps and will head off to playground this afternoon with them to get some more in and gym tonight.

Yay for a new kitchen I wish I had a new one, or the landlord would get is a new one ha

BeyondUnderthinking · 13/02/2017 15:24

I'm aiming for under 1000 a day (blood sugar diet is supposed to be under 800 but my willpower isn't reaching that at the mo), with an absolute upper limit of the 1300 MFP recommends for me.

Quim - I have the sports direct mugs, so that would easily be the best of two big jars Grin now I like marmite, but that's pushing it!!

lastqueenofscotland · 13/02/2017 15:31

Beyond how long will that be for....

Millie04 · 13/02/2017 15:33

BeyondUnderThinking I'm impressed by your calorie control and counting. I wondering whether my lack of calorie counting is the reason my scales aren't moving at moment. Today I fasted until 11am, then porridge and banana and some peanut butter to fuel swim. I swam a mile and it felt good but then I had an insatiable craving afterwards (swimming and period provoked I guess) and had soup, sourdough toast x 2, popcorn and 3 choc biscuits! I'm feeling satisfied now and I'm hoping this lasts until 6pm when I shall have to have a protein based dinner I think. I think I may have consumed more cals than burnt today though!

BeyondUnderthinking · 13/02/2017 16:07

It's supposed to be in eight week cycles with 5:2 in between (and lower carb for maintenance)

SmellyFartado · 13/02/2017 19:14

Sorry, RL got a bit in the way so haven't posted for a while.

One whole stone off in 5wks so delighted with that. Onto the next one now.

Tricks for me are lemon water for breakfast, 2 x boiled eggs for brunch, 300 cal late lunch, 300 cal dinner and then a drink or chocolates in the evening if I need or want them. oh, and chewing gum to keep hunger pangs away.

Onwards & downwards !!

Squiffy01 · 13/02/2017 19:48

Has a small piece of pound cake Sad but still under 1100 so not too bad for first day back on track.
Why can't I just say no. It isn't rude to say no to someone offering you cake I just need to do it.

Naughtysausage · 13/02/2017 19:58

Arrrrgh.
I've put on 2.5lbs over the weekend! And I don't feel like I deserve it!

Really struggling with my motivation now. If a 'normal' weekend undoes that much good work then what's the point!
However.
Hauling my sulking self off the sofa and going to do a 30 day shred video.
Tomorrow is another day!

ArseyTussle · 13/02/2017 20:24

Argh! A day of disastrous calamity! Had no breakfast and a salad for lunch but was working on a job where we were supplied with a steady stream of bacon sarnies and chocolate biscuits. Oh dear. Will have to run like fuck tomorrow.

KikisDeliveryService · 13/02/2017 21:37

What's happened to everyone!

Back on the wagon tomorrow slenderistas! Lose those Lindas!

WE CAN DO THIS Grin

KikisDeliveryService · 13/02/2017 21:39

A stone smelly! Good work - please stick around and post, this place needs some motivation.

Step away from the pies cakes and cocktails people! It's not worth it.

BitOutOfPractice · 13/02/2017 21:41

I'm struggling too. Ate all the food this weekend. Now finding it hard to get back on the wagon.

I have had a golden day though. And been to the gym. But I feel like my heart's not in it.

But come on girls (and Tv) we can't give up to easy. Nobody wants to let the side down do they?
