Thanks Practice! It's scary when you see the full 'cost' of an innocent looking egg sandwich.

BitOutOfPractice · 09/02/2017 10:09

Guess what! It's a Hairy Dieters recipe!

Morris it's a soup kinda day I think. Well it is here down south

Right. I am getting those books when my kitchen is finally done.

(I'm wondering how many times since I joined this thread in September I've said "...when my kitchen's finally done". It's starting to feel like Waiting for Godot.)

Red letter day for me today

I hadnt planned to weigh in until tomorrow after being 13st 0 1/2 yesterday but had a farly small dinner and felt a little lighter this morning.

Got on the scales and finally most of a pesky Linda has moved and the scales said 12st 13 3/4Smile

We are away in a hotel this weekend so breakfasts will be back on the agenda and I'm sure bigger dinners, I will need to be good during day and will have to accept if I'm up above 13st next week.

I'm sure I wouldnt have seen a 12 today if it hadnt been for this thread over the last few weeks. Thank you all so much!

Archduke · 09/02/2017 11:16

Hello you ravishing lot. I must say you're all looking different have you lost weight?

Grin

Worked today, took in a salad and Miso soup which was noice.

Had chicken salad for dinner, it was horrible. Win some, lose some. Hungry now though.

DH home from his trip, he's being a bit of a wanker but I'm putting it down to tiredness and being an arse.

BOOP your day sounds so full they'll be no time to eat. Hairspray it is VERY dispiriting to eat absolutely bugger all and then for the scales to not budge. I'm still stuck at the same point I've been for the past week and to be honest it's giving me the RAGE but I have faith that the scales will reward my parsimonious behaviour.

Went to a school concert tonight. It was the single worst hour of my life. I Outdoors, 40+ degrees, horrible horrible happy whistling Christian songs about Jesus (don't get me wrong I like a good solid English hymn but not this whistling happy clappy horror). Honestly it's a miracle no one --me- went postal.

BitOutOfPractice · 09/02/2017 11:52

Thank you all, definitely feeling a bit better and clothes seem to be fitting better too.
next mini milestone is 12st 10, not sure I'll get there by end of month with the various social stuff going on but that would be ultimate goal

BitOutOfPractice · 09/02/2017 13:03

Best phrase I've said all week: "excuse me! Do you have this in a 12? Grin

TVHubbyClaire · 09/02/2017 14:27

Sounds like fab NSV BOOP

You must have been giving yourself a pat on the back all the way to the till!

KikisDeliveryService · 09/02/2017 15:09

Walk to gym, rowing, elliptical, physio & remedial yoga, weights, swim = swollen ankle, limp home Sad

I lightly twisted my ankle 2 weeks ago. It's been occasionally slightly niggly since then. I was not expecting it to puff up. It did not like swimming at all.

BitOutOfPractice · 09/02/2017 15:28

Oh no kiki. Can you ice it?

My mom has just arrived and it only took her 50 seconds to say "I think you've lost enough now. You don't want to get gaunt" Confused

OP posts:
KikisDeliveryService · 09/02/2017 15:31

Oh no! Try and brush it off boop, change subject every time it comes up.

I have iced and elevated, will ice again later too. Swelling much improved thank fully.

BitOutOfPractice · 09/02/2017 15:46

Oh that's a good sign then. Hopefully you've caught it in time Flowers

I just laughed at mom Grin

ponygirlcurtis · 09/02/2017 16:43

Ow Kiki, hope your ankle feels better.

Tremendous TV - perseverance paid off. Now you know it can be done! My new stone bracket was not around this morning but now I have seen it I know it will be back if I keep going.

Hairspray keep going. Food takes a while to process, what you are yesterday might take a few days to impact on the scale one way or t'other. Lots and lots of water, flush it all through.

Love your NSV BOOP - if it was me I probably would have asked even if 12s were out, just so I could say it! I fully expect similar comments from my family soon, I am meant to be the fat one and it unsettles them if I deviate from my designated role!

Squiffy01 · 09/02/2017 19:03

Everyone well don't there is so much happening.

I have had the worst food day so far this year. I just can't stop eating I don't know what's going on, I was going so bloody well Sad

Softpebbles · 09/02/2017 19:22

Good work ladies and Gent!

Under calories so far but I know I am going to have a yoghurt yet. I am tired and grumpy. This doesn't make avoiding chocolate easy. Off to walk the dog Bear

lastqueenofscotland · 09/02/2017 19:27

A good day food wise rubbish exercise wise- driving around on appointments for work and only really walked from car to various offices. Will do some walking around the kitchen while waiting for the oven.

Hoping to nail it 100% tomorrow.

KikisDeliveryService · 09/02/2017 19:40

My fast day went tits up once I was sore, tired and miserable. Might attempt a re-do tomorrow.

I've had to ice my foot 3 times this evening. Pain has gone and it's fine to walk on but still a bit puffy.

I am grumpy. I have eaten my weight in naughty yogurt.

ponygirlcurtis · 09/02/2017 19:47

Sounds a tough day for lots of us. Hang on in there. Brew all round.

QuimReaper · 09/02/2017 19:56

Oh dear Squiffy and Kiki, sorry to hear today's not gone quite to plan! Kiki on the plus side it sounds like you must've burned about 8,000 calories before the ankle went Grin And what the blazes is Naughty Yoghurt? Surely yoghurt can only get so naughty! If yoghurt's all you've gorged on you should be OK!

Squiffy after a period of Good Behaviour I have been known to completely lose the plot and eat everything. It's one of the reasons I have a release valve on the weekends! Just draw a line under it - it won't have made as much of a difference as you think, honest.

Claire WELL DOOOOONE! It's so encouraging to slip into a new number, now you know you can do it! Enjoy the weekend away, relish those breakfasts Grin

BOOP Charming! Is she a bit funny like that? I wonder if she's just a bit jealous of your SIIIIIZE TWEEEEEEELVES... SIZETWELVESIZETWELVESIZETWELVE!

QuimReaper · 09/02/2017 19:58

Archie that concert does sound awful. I wouldn't cope well at all in your climate, I get very sunburnt and snappy when I'm too hot, and sitting through happy clappy Jesus crap in it...

(I am actually half Australian too, and seem to have got my milk-pale skin and heat intolerance from that side of the gene pool Confused )

I laughed at (to paraphrase)

he's being a bit of a wanker but I'm putting it down to being an arse.

Superb inference Grin Grin
