Aw BOOP, bf sounds lovely. Smile

It can be hard going sometimes Kiki, shops are a minefield, it's all just there. You are doing so well avoiding the booze, do you feel better for it?

KikisDeliveryService · 08/02/2017 16:54

Pony Yes I really do feel better without the booze AND I realised today that I have not had any nose pimple breakouts recently. It might be a co-incidence but it's lovely to have clear skin, especially at this end of winter when my skin usually looks dreadful after months of exposure to the elements.

It's a bit of a shame how obvious the benefits are because booze is nice. Ah well, moderation and all that.

QuimReaper · 08/02/2017 17:00

Oh I didn't register Claire was a man, I thought (s)he just had a wife!

Sorry if I've mindlessly asked you if AF is due Claire Grin

AugustRose · 08/02/2017 17:27

This thread just keeps moving too fast, I can't keep up!

Great news on the weight losses and positive thinkings. My lightbulb moment was last year, when DH went to visit his DM - DC were in bed and I kept going back to the kitchen looking for chocolate and ate so much crap I felt bloated and ill.

So happy to say I have lost 2lbs this week Grin so 10st 5lb now. But that will all be ruined tomorrow with a trip to Manchester for a Young Voices choir with the school so lunch and tea out! Mind that is if DD2 feels better, she came home from school feeling poorly and now all I can think about is if we don't go I'm £40 down Sad

AugustRose · 08/02/2017 17:30

Oh and just to annoy me DH bought a 5 pack of Cadbury's Creme Eggs

lastqueenofscotland · 08/02/2017 18:20

I think I can sort of eat normally again today which has meant I've eaten loads Angry

Back to MFP religiously tomorrow

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 08/02/2017 18:36

Hurray, Pony and Chardonnay! Bloody well done!

I am a 5'2"er too. All hail the shortarses!

QuimReaper · 08/02/2017 19:44

Glad you're feeling better queenie, you'll only have eaten what you missed out on when you couldn't chew so it should even out, no?

Fantastic news August, well done! RESIST THE CREME EGGS! Hope your DD feels better tomorrow Flowers

ponygirlcurtis · 08/02/2017 21:46

Enjoy eating proper food again last, bet you can't wait.

Fantastic August! About the loss, not about DH. gives August's DH a look

I am bang on my calories today but have found myself more hungry than I did on Sunday, which was a mini-fast day. Go figure. I think my new stone bracket was the only thing holding me back from raiding the fridge! I have drunk 2.5l of water though and I am sloshing. makes a change from sloshed

lastqueenofscotland · 08/02/2017 21:51

I dived in big time today on everything...

I've eaten about 80billion calories.

But I'll be cracking on tomorrow with golden days which has been a bit neglected while I've been recovering.

Out at an all day work meeting so will be a light day anyway and then have a big but healthy dinner planned for after my run

BeyondUnderthinking · 08/02/2017 22:17

I had banana and evaporated milk for dinner Grin
Bringing today in at 879cals, plus 80 exercise calories too!!
Reached step goal, did my Pilates, drank my 2l of water - on top of two giant cups of herbal tea

Today has been a platinum day :)
(Oh and completely unrelated - my new phone came too)

lastqueenofscotland · 09/02/2017 07:40

Having got into the 9s I'm 140 this morning :( so same as my lowest Jan weights/ 1 Linda down from my lowest feb weight.

I've just spent the last few days drinking wayyyyyy to many calories and last day eating everything on top of it to.

Now I'm recovered I've no excuse.

I never want to be 10 something again!!

KikisDeliveryService · 09/02/2017 08:05

Beyond! Platinum day indeed. I had a platinum exercise day with a bronze food day (16:8 though!). I have been rewarded with the scales staying exactly the same which is good because they'd normally have bounced up at this point in the week. Fast day and hopefully a gym trip, although I am currently exhausted! But I will do it and I will see a proper loss this week.

Lastly you've got this, those 9s are waiting for you.

KikisDeliveryService · 09/02/2017 08:05

Lasty that should say

HairsprayBabe · 09/02/2017 08:19

Rats! Still 11.10 9 days in and I have not shifted a single linda!

Had 2 poached eggs, kale, broccoli and asparagus for tea last night.
Thought I looked skinny when I went to bed, and felt light too. I was banking on a loss this morning but bloody nothing! Angry Getting a bit cross now, I just want the lbs to shift!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 09/02/2017 08:36

10.13 exactly this morning - down another 0.5lb. Total Feb loss so far: 1.75lb. I thought the BSD was supposed to make the lindas just fall off!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 09/02/2017 08:39

Morning all! Why are so many of us on this thread 5 foot 2?! (or almost 5 foot 2, in my case)

I did not have a golden day yesterday. There was ice cream. And gnocchi. However I am going to pretend that it didn't happen and crack on with my fast day today!

MorrisZapp · 09/02/2017 09:03

Can any bugger help me? I'm meeting DP for lunch today at Pret. What can I have that won't blow the calorie budget?

I'm willing to indulge slightly but looking for damage limitation...

QuimReaper · 09/02/2017 09:04

TooExtra you've only been on it for four days haven't you? You've probably just sent your body into a bit of a tailspin, I'm sure it'll settle! Drinking enough water?

BitOutOfPractice · 09/02/2017 09:05

This bugger will try! If you go on the pret site they have all the nutritional info here

BitOutOfPractice · 09/02/2017 09:08

One of the soups today is "o cream Cream of Chicken" that's 140 cals for a serving. Not too bad at all

Hello slenderistas. I only squeaked in under my 1200 calorie target by 10 yesterday! I did have a glass of wine though so not too shabby

Got a manic day today. I've got hospital appointment this morning. Then mom and sister arrive at 2pm. DD's parents evening at 4pm. Quickly make dinner for 6 and out by 7 to DD1's play. Lifts home for everyone. Make up beds for guests. Collapse. All on 4 hours sleep and I have work to do. Which is why I'm on MN Confused

QuimReaper · 09/02/2017 09:09

Morris look carefully at the calorie breakdown of the salads v the dressings - the dressings make up a shocking amount of the total calories, so you could have one of the nicer salads and forgo the dressing?

Salad may not be quite the indulgence you're after though Grin

QuimReaper · 09/02/2017 09:11

Crumbs BOOP that sounds absolutely manic - hope you have a quick dinner up your sleeve!

(Can't you ditch parent's evening? Blush )

BitOutOfPractice · 09/02/2017 09:15

Quim I'd love to ditch it but DD2 is just choosing her GCSE options and there's a couple of teachers I want to touch base with that she's planning to take. Plus I can't foist it on her dad as he is selfishly on holiday. But don't think I hadn't thought about it.

I made some creamy tarragon chicken pots last night. They just need cheese adding to the top and popping in the oven with some wedges and veg plonked on the plate. My sis will get on with the spuds and veg while I'm out I'm sure.

OP posts:
QuimReaper · 09/02/2017 09:44

Woah, creamy tarragon chicken pots sound amazing!

You are good. I always panic and ditch the diet under pressure and just shove an armload of pizzas and garlic bread in the oven Grin Or worse, I say "I'll make something quick, like fajitas", forgetting that whilst fajitas are quick in theory, they seem to take bloody hours in practice...
