WHAATTTTT???!!!!!!!

TVHubbyClaire · 08/02/2017 12:59

BOOP I am so grateful to everyone for making me feel welcome. You can't imagine how nice it feels to be part of this.

HairsprayBabe · 08/02/2017 13:03

I feel it is unlikely that any trousers will ever fall down on me as I have a shelf of an arse to keep them up!

Currently still wearing those black shorts around the house and in bed as they are comfy, even though they are literally hanging off me my butt shelf is holding on tight to them!

BeyondUnderthinking · 08/02/2017 13:27

Me too hairspray. Though I'm in PJs right now Grin

Just had the last of the paneer curry for lunch with half an avocado and some cherry toms. Then a can of Diet Coke and a whitworth shot (seriously, I love these things! 3 for 2 in Asda!!)

BitOutOfPractice · 08/02/2017 13:39

I have the warm and fuzzies Claire. This stuff does work. Sometimes it's hard to remember that when the scales won't budge. This place helps remind me!

Beyond I have never ever tried paneer. Is it very calorific?

Oh yes, I'd have given up way before now without this thread. You're all lovely. Even those who are male. Grin

BeyondUnderthinking · 08/02/2017 14:05

347cal per 100g, and the pack (227g) made a good four portions (with tinned tomatoes, shallots, peppers and coconut cream)

Plus it's £1.50 a pack Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 08/02/2017 14:08

That's quite high then beyond

OP posts:
HairsprayBabe · 08/02/2017 14:54

Nar not too bad Boop bout 200 cals per portion from my maths, toms, shallots and peppers are low cal, coconut cream is obvs higher cal but I pour mine into ice cube trays and freeze. Then I will only use a cube or two for a whole curry.

But that plus the avocado would be quite calorific in total.

I prefer a small lunch 200 cals or so and then a 600 calorie dinner so I don't feel like I am missing out, and I am not hungry at bedtime!

Squiffy01 · 08/02/2017 14:54

Gahhhhhh why can't I stop eating!?! Sad

Pony Well bloody done for the new stone bracket.

And loving the loosing of trousers when running 😂

Stellar67 · 08/02/2017 15:08

Your lunch sounds good beyond. I had broccoli soup. It wasn't very exciting. But broccoli is a rare find just now so maybe I should be more pleased!

I like this thread a lot. Thank you all! Smile

BeyondUnderthinking · 08/02/2017 15:24

It wasn't too bad - lunch total was 394 cal, including the fruit shot :)

Has broccoli been added to the list of rare veg now?

Just had a very close shave in the corner shop, was gravitating mindlessly towards the chocolate but somehow managed to summon the strength to get out of there.

It's tricky, this, sometimes, isn't it?

MorrisZapp · 08/02/2017 15:36

I used to mindlessly inhale those sharing packs of Cadburys Nibbles that bastard Tescos always have in for a pound.

I looked at the packet yesterday... 600 calories a bag!! They're on the no list until my arse can be seen in a bikini.

BitOutOfPractice · 08/02/2017 15:39

How many cals a day to you have beyond?

Can I just recommend these? Two biscuits is 90 cals but they are so substantial you actually feel like you've eaten something, not just had a sweet fix. Really nice

My lovely as sliced up a granary loaf, weighed each portion, worked out the calories, and packaged it all up and labelled it for the freezer Grin I don't each much bread but it's handy to be able to pull a couple of slices out of the freezer sometimes.

Oo thank you BOOP, they look good!

I'm ideally aiming for 800-1000 a day - following the blood sugar diet - but any day where I'm under my MFP goal (1300) is a success atm! Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 08/02/2017 15:49

Every day? That low? How long for? I'm aghast!

I go for 1200 a day and come in under that 6 days out of 7 I'd say. I don't count exercise calories.

OP posts:
BeyondUnderthinking · 08/02/2017 15:54

8 weeks is the proper plan, but it's quite easy once you get going so it might be longer

BeyondUnderthinking · 08/02/2017 15:55

My ten minutes of Pilates is about 47 calories iirc, counting or not counting doesn't make much difference Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 08/02/2017 15:57

Maybe not Grin

Oh wow, so much congratulating in order!

Pony & Chard WHOOP WHOOP! Amazing work ladies!

And thanks for the LOLz Chardonnay, Arsey & Stellar*. I do love an embarrassing tale, makes me feel right at home. Much less entertaining, but for the second time in a month I managed to get to the checkout at the supermarket before realising I'd left the house without my purse, cue extra cycling to and fro... good exercise at least. Confused

re. Heights - damnit, I'm feeling distinctly average again.

KikisDeliveryService · 08/02/2017 16:03

arsey & morris You've both just reminded me that my most recent lightbulb moment that got me started on these threads was buying a snickers bar to eat there and then. It had been years since I'd last thought that was acceptable behaviour for me. Jeeze, how repressed & dull does that sound?! I literally walk around shops blanking whole aisles with the words 'those things are not for you' in my brain (crisps/snacks/fizzy drinks and currently booze).
