Ha! This has cheered me up. Just before Christmas I got a load of thin clothes out of the loft. I put them in three piles: fit me now, nearly fit me, and no chance!

Well I've just gone to put the second two piles back in the loft and thought "ooo I love that dress in the 'nearly' pile, I'll just give it a whirl" and it fits! Grin Tried the rest of that pile on and it all fits. Very pleased!

Jeez I have so many clothes! Blush

Yay! Amazing NSV! I'm hoping a dress that I bought for a wedding last year that I've never got into will fit me by the wedding I'm going to at the end of March.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 05/02/2017 19:49

Hurray for fitting clothes! I can't wait to fit into some of mine.

On 799 calories for day 1 of BSD! Perfect! We did have udon noodles (prawn ramen for dinner, mmm!) because DH couldn't find zero noodles in Tesco. Does it matter if I don't stay very low carb so long as it's 800 calories and under? I'm not pre-diabetic and don't really mind what my blood sugar levels are.

Softpebbles · 05/02/2017 20:27

Crikey feels like I've let the side down this weekend!
Haven't stopped and both days I've done way more than 10k steps but my food hasn't been the best.

Have made lentil soup for work tomorrow so will be back on it. Won't weigh until weds, hopefully will be able to pull it back.

KikisDeliveryService · 05/02/2017 21:13

Don't worry soft, I keep all my golden eating for week days - I've eaten healthily (mostly) but portion sizing tends to go up at the weekends.

KikisDeliveryService · 05/02/2017 21:22

Probably why I don't lose weight... but I'm now 2 weeks 2 days of no alcohol and haven't been missing it at all. My wobbly bits have become distinctly less wobbly though = NSV.

ponygirlcurtis · 05/02/2017 22:54

That's a fantastic NSV BOOP! Having too many clothes is a better problem than not enough because they don't fit. I think the no chance pile will be a nearly pile v soon. Smile

And well done on your NSV Kiki, and your dry spell.

I have had a pretty good day - mini fast, came in around 850cals. Food planned for the rest of the week too. Hoping this morning's scales number sticks around.

Archduke · 05/02/2017 23:57

Well done everyone. Good NSVs happening too.

I had a bit clothes clear out last week. I got rid of all my stuff that needs mending as I know I'll never mend them, and Charity Shopped loads of ill fitting on-line purchases. Our local Op Shop (Aus for Charity Shop) is now stuffed with UK Boden, Next, M&S, Joseph etc I hope the locals understand the quality Grin. I now need a BELT for my pants (trousers not undies). I'm a bit scared to get rid of clothes in larger sizes though as I know from bitter experience that I tend to veer wildly from a size 10 - 14. It is nice to get back into some of the smaller sizes, so much more choice!

Archduke · 06/02/2017 00:02

Mind you I wish I could stop losing weight from my boobs. They have gone from a lovely jaunty cup size to something verging on scraggy. Why can't the fat just float up from my stomach, where it's holding fast, to my boobs. So unfair.

hadtomakeanawfuldecision · 06/02/2017 03:30

Ooh well done archduke. I am awful at shopping and am queen of the That'll-Do online purchase. Will try to channel the Kondo joy thing and only buy stuff I like rather than stuff that will "do". Tho' at the moment I only fit into a few things as I was just about to make the shift into maternity but obvs now no need.
Agree re breasts, mine are definitely my most responsive body part in terms of dieting and there isn't a ton there to start with. But at the moment but I assume once my hormones go they will shrink right down.

hadtomakeanawfuldecision · 06/02/2017 03:32

And well done boop. I have some jeans that i dream of wearing again. I may hang them somewhere motivating (next to my brutally honest scales maybe). Had a bootcamp again- lots of burpees and beat crawling. Hoping I won't ache quite so much after this one!

lastqueenofscotland · 06/02/2017 07:15

I'm in the 9st bracket for the first time in like forever Grin

I would also sell my family for a meal I can chew but that is beside the point

Squiffy01 · 06/02/2017 07:15

Well done everyone on your NSV! It must be amazing to fit into old clothes again. I've got two dresses I'm wanting to get into one was really tight a month ago and one as miles off. Too scared to try the first one on though cause if it isn't fitting nicely I am likely to throw in the towel.

-2.2 off for me this morning! 200g to go before I'm at the top of a healthy weight range, fingers crossed I don't screw up this week and make it for next weigh in.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 06/02/2017 07:21

Scales still up this morning, but I pigged for most of Thursday, Friday and Saturday, had a golden food day yesterday but have barely moved off the sofa. I'm working from home today so I can Shred at lunchtime, though!

BitOutOfPractice · 06/02/2017 07:32

Lasty you weigh 9 stone something. That is absolutely fab. Very well done indeed. You must feel great (apart from your mouth!)

Squiffy ooo you are so close! Healthy BMI was my initial goal so I can imagine how you feel about it. If you've lost 2.2lbs this week, a measly half pound will be a piece of cake. Unfortunate choice of phrase there sorry.

Morning all. I had a decent weigh in on the gym scales last night. I'm 3.1lbs down in Feb. Still 2.4 heavier than my Jan lightest but getting there. I have spin this morning Shock

notagiraffe · 06/02/2017 07:35

I lost 5lbs by doing dry January and have probably put them all back on this weekend, so please can I join you? I'd LOVE to lose 7lbs in Feb. But another 5 would be fine too.

Softpebbles · 06/02/2017 07:45

Last well done but ouch - not a diet I'm fancying to be honest. X

Well done boop - up for spinning in the morning go you, great start to the week.

Had to I now have a rule if I um and ah over something it means it's not right and it goes back. Purchases have definitely decreased!

Feel like I need a notepad for everyone I've missed. Rubbish doing on my phone - sorry.

Have great Mondays Smile

HairsprayBabe · 06/02/2017 07:54

Had a lovely weekend fun wise but disastrous diet wise!
11.11 this morning, so back on 0 for the month now! that will teach me for eating and drinking like a 17 year old for 3 days Blush

Surely that can't be actual fat? Must be good all this week, have that awful hen party this weekend and I know 1000 photos will be taken so I want to look nice.

lastqueenofscotland · 06/02/2017 07:58

Boop that's a great loss!

Pinkvici22 · 06/02/2017 08:00

I've nearly fallen off the wagon (the healthy eating exercising wagon!!), and this thread, but I'm back.

Had a terrible weekend...which of course resulted in emotional eating. I did however spend last night batch cooking healthy soups and salads so I'm back on it today! Not getting weighed until Friday....I know if I've put any of the 7lbs Jan loss back on, I'll be so upset and will struggle to stay on track.

Stellar67 · 06/02/2017 08:16

Well done BOOP and lastqueen.

I like spin. Don't go often enough but I've set myself out an exercise and eating plan for this week. Fingers crossed to get through the week.

KikisDeliveryService · 06/02/2017 08:21

Lastqueen Whoop! I'd love to get back in the 9st bracket, I'm not sure I would anymore though as I'm more muscly than I used to be.

Nice NSV boop!

Welcome notagiraffe! I seem to be doing dry Feb, I think it helps.

I've had a good monday morning weigh in! A good 1-2 Lindas off my usual post-weekend weight which sets me in good stead for achieving an actual loss this week. I tend to bounce up and down the same 3lbs so if I can bounce down to a new 3lb zone that would be lovely!

I did do 5-6 hours of training over the weekend but that's going to be a regular thing now for the foreseeable future, I think it'll make all the difference.

ArseyTussle · 06/02/2017 08:23

Morning all, and welcome giraffe, good to have you with us.

Good on you for getting back on the wagon pink, balls ups happen.

Here's to starting a week of slenderness, good luck everyone!

BeyondUnderthinking · 06/02/2017 08:30

I'm down half a pound. It's going in the right direction, but that's rather frustrating. Still haven't re-reached my recent low. Wish I could just go to sleep and wake up thinner. Not even thin, a BMI of 26/27 would be enough for me to be happy

StewardsEnquiry · 06/02/2017 09:14

This thread moves so fast! Some great losses happening for lots of people. It is really inspiring.

I am almost in the normal BMI category again - currently 25.1 so I'm having a big push this week to get under 25.
