Let's move away from the Christmas bugger and ditch Linda for good.

Just had to Google century eggs. Envy

Thanks BOOP, I am on the lookout for more slow cooker recipes. Yep go for it on the new thread front. Smile

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 21/01/2017 15:03

Well done Boop! That is amazing.

Beyond that bikini is really nice! Also love the tattoo.

I am feeling inspired by everyone's amazing losses to not go off the rails too much this weekend! Hopefully then I will see some sort of loss this month.

Yes we'll be needing a "yes we Canuary thread #2" at this rate!

HairsprayBabe · 21/01/2017 16:29

12.1 today, very pleased -6lbs for the month with still a week to go!

ponygirlcurtis · 21/01/2017 18:38

Did a brisk 6km walk today - beautiful sunny afternoon. Now I have plum tomatoes in my slow cooker ready for overnight cooking. They look great! Will let you know how they are BOOP - my slow cooker is not very big so I have layered them. Yummmmmmmm. Smile

BitOutOfPractice · 21/01/2017 23:22

Ooo I wish I had some on the go pony

Just in from a friends for dinner. I ate two fajitas and a piece of strawberry flan^^ with whipped cream and managed to avoid the crisps and dips apart from some frazzles. No booze. Do I didn't do too bad.

I also had some Echo Falks fizzy faux wine stuff that I spotted in Sainsbury's. It said it was infused with green tea which sounds odd but honestly it was the closest thing to prosecco I've tasted. Very impressed

I've got those Tomatoes in the slow cooker here too. They've gone global BOOP Grin

Had a great time last night watching dh race up a car park on his bike. Totally mental but huge fun, dj's 1000s of spectators, lots of noise it was so cool. For the first time I'm really envious of his cycling life. There were these super cool chicks racing too. They were ace. On the way home dh and kids got greasy burgers whereas I refrained (as I hadn't cycled 180kms + racing).

Having a Sunday at home, gardening, cleaning windows etc. Am logging it all as exercise. Just had a late breakfast and planning BOOPs Roast Toms with steamed salmon and salad for dinner. Everyone else having pizza.

I am down another 300gms which is good. No massive whoosh yet . . . Angry

Archduke · 22/01/2017 09:06

I can categorically state that those Tomatoes work brilliantly cooked, cooled and in a salad. Also as a Pizza topping, so versatile. Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 22/01/2017 09:14

Hurrah! I'm so glad you liked BOOP's Global Tomatoes

These tomatoes sound great. When I have a glut (if I've bothered to actually grow some) I love to slow roast tomatoes chopped in half with garlic, thyme and seasoning in the oven. I imagine the effect is similar - they caramelise beautifully and go with everything. Mmmm. Definitely a summery dish to me.

I assume we're all hanging around for another thread? Grin Shall we just Feb's early on the basis it will be likely slower moving than the January one? I'm pondering on pun-worthy titles - got as far as Fabruary as a possible.

Squiffy01 · 22/01/2017 10:28

I'm already worrying about weigh in on Friday! The weekend has not been good, well actually it has been fabulous, but the scales will not agree. It was all planned though and this is the last weekend with stuff on all weekend until March when we go to Venice.
I plan to have a huge week of golden days no matter how useless it is. I am not giving up like every other time!

BitOutOfPractice · 22/01/2017 10:35

I think we should have January #2 thread. So we can keep our January weight losses in one place. Though I do realise I don't own the place Wink

That sounds a good night BOOP, you did really well to resist the booze. You are on fire!

What about Fabu-loss February?

Archduke · 22/01/2017 11:26

Flabuary? Grin

KikisDeliveryService · 22/01/2017 11:36

Haha good point boop - lots of you deserve your January glory! I guess I've got a few days to attempt to redeem myself.

Golden week starts here: just getting ready for a run.

Oh balls, just realised I've done housework without wearing my Fitbit- what a waste! It probably would auto detect the hoovering as swimming or something.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/01/2017 11:39

Ooo I like Febuloss.

I'll start a new thread when I get home. I've been out stoning along the seafront

Flabuary? Or is that just me? BlushGrin

BitOutOfPractice · 22/01/2017 12:57

Not very positive though is it? Grin

Febuskinny?

KikisDeliveryService · 22/01/2017 15:25

Right, doing well on this chilly sunny Sunday here! I've already reached 13500 steps which includes a 5.3k run and a family walk. I am doing a no-holds-barred roast though but I think we're out of wine so that should help reduce the calorie impact! Feeling really good today after a sickly sluggish week and it's nice to want to be active again.

I've officially stated out loud at home that I will not drink in February. Hoping for a decent fabuloss on the back of it. Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 22/01/2017 15:50

I'm doing well today too. Done my 9000 step target already and I've still got a gym trip to go today. I've only had 300 calories so far today and I'm having dinner at BF's and he tells me he has lamb cutlets and a low fat Swiss roll on the menu.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/01/2017 20:56

I've started a new thread here

ArseyTussle · 23/01/2017 07:47

Shall we continue here until 1000?

I'm fed up this morning, got on the scales to see a 1kg loss. Then just to be sure got on them three more times to see a 400g gain. Bollocks and buggeration. Angry

HairsprayBabe · 23/01/2017 08:38

12.2 this morning, -5lbs for the month so far.
Not to bad as I went out for curry on Saturday and had pizza last night! Blush BAD Hairspray! Bad!

So I am detoxing today, in hope that I will lose another few lbs before the end of the month. Bring on the liquorice tea and kale,

OH! also here is my "Egg Muffin" recipe.

1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 cup finely chopped veggies - use whatever you like I use pepper, courgettes, tomatoes, spinach, it doesn't matter really! you could add ham, cooked chicken or bacon etc. if you are a meat eater.
2 tbsp. chopped shallot or spring onion

Heat oven to 180C.
Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper in medium bowl until well-blended.
Add cheese, chopped veggies, onion; mix well.
Spoon evenly into 12 greased muffin tin, about 1/4 cup each.
Bake in 350°F oven until just set, 20 to 22 minutes.
Cool on wire rack 5 minutes.
Remove from cups; eat.

Can be kept in the fridge for a week or keep frozen and defrost as needed. can be reheated in microwave.

calories will vary depending on your veggies, of choice
