Happy New Year Slenderistas.

Let's move away from the Christmas bugger and ditch Linda for good.

BOOP Amazing work! Well done woman!

ArseyTussle · 19/01/2017 10:26

Holy god! I haven't worn size 12 since I was, er 12. Well done that woman!

BitOutOfPractice · 19/01/2017 10:42

I am like this GrinGrinGrin

I keep saying "I'm coming down the stairs in size 12 jeans" and "I'm drinking coffee in size 12 jeans".

That's going to get boring pretty quickly isn't it?

Chardonnay73 · 19/01/2017 10:49

Boop, that's amazing ! Well done! Must feel 😁 Maybe Kate Moss was right ( nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!)
Even at my thinnest in my adult life I was still a 14. It's my Kim Kardashian hips you see..., 😒

BitOutOfPractice · 19/01/2017 11:16

I'm assuming these are generous because I most certainly am not a 12!

OP posts:
HairsprayBabe · 19/01/2017 11:49

Nar BOOP I am sure they come up small! Wink

Adding to the jetsetting news me and DP and his best mate and his GF are going to Amsterdam at the end of March! Not the one who I am hosting a hen do for, his other best mate.

I love this girl, mostly I hate everyone but we really clicked and so I am super excited!

Mummysh0rtlegs · 19/01/2017 11:51

It is me Linda and Christmas bugger lady! I've dumped my reindeer legs!

Nice cottage pie for dinner and then I'm off to Aqua fit. Check me out!

HairsprayBabe · 19/01/2017 15:45

Oooh! Sounds like a golden day Msl (calling you mummy is getting weird so I am acronymising you!)

Just booked in to do some sort of horrible fitness class on my lunchbreak next Thursday I must really be into this weightloss thing!

Mummysh0rtlegs · 19/01/2017 15:59

Being called mummy is weird. Even by the people I produced!

I've got

Aqua fit
The trip
Sh'bam
Water fit

Booked over the next week. Lots of new classes to me. I like the sound of sh'bam as that's what I want to do to some Linda's pow! Zap!

QuimReaper · 19/01/2017 16:05

WOOP well done everyone! I love it when we get a little run of wins like this, it's so inspiring! Brava, brava and brava to Arsey, Queenie and BOOP in her Sz12s! Grin

I can't join in, as on this occasion I am apparently 100g heavier than I was two weeks ago (a Linda up on last Fri) Angry

Writing it off and holding out for a goldener week next week, but what an arsing pain. It was the rubbish Monday that did it, I'm still annoyed about that. I thought I'd at least maintain with two fast days on the trot after it though.

Hairspray I am always in actual awe of people who exercise on their lunch break! I could sort of conceive of doing some pilates or something, but anything sweaty and I just can't imagine getting there, getting changed, exercising, washing, putting myself back together and getting back in the space of an hour, let alone eating at some point during all that! Do you get more than an hour? And are you one of those people whose hair can be sweated in and still look fine afterwards?

QuimReaper · 19/01/2017 16:07

Wow leggy (unless you prefer sh0rty? Grin ) you are on a roll! It's an excellent strategy to book in for tons of exercise, because as oft-noted on this thread, exercise fills you with purpose and genuinely reduces your desire to pig out on your Christmas leftovers.

ponygirlcurtis · 19/01/2017 16:44

Fantastic BOOP! I would also totally be doing the 'this is me doing my thang in size 12' if it was me. Well done everyone on their losses. Halo

I have just given blood so hoping that a pint less liquid in my body will help because Lord knows I don't deserve a loss otherwise. Blush

BitOutOfPractice · 19/01/2017 17:00

How much does a litre of blood weigh pony? Gotta be worth something!

OP posts:
QuimReaper · 19/01/2017 17:04

pony I remember saying exactly the same thing on one of the earlier threads Grin

(In the end I couldn't give blood because I had starved myself for a weigh-in and was supposed to have eaten 2hrs before donating Blush )

HairsprayBabe · 19/01/2017 17:55

Quim I certainly never thought I would be the type!!! It is a 1/2 hour body blitz class, cardio and a bit of weights work I will try it once to see how I feel, and if it awful I shall come up with a new plan 😐
I have straight blonde hair, I think that dry shampoo will be my friend!

ponygirlcurtis · 19/01/2017 17:56

Really Quim? I wasn't asked anything like that, hadn't eaten all day prior to the donation.

BOOP it's just over a pound. totally Googled it already

HairsprayBabe · 19/01/2017 17:57

Quim Also I forgot to say we have flexible working between 7and 7 so I can have as long as I want as long as I ok it with my line manager he is totally chill though so we all just do what we like, no one takes the piss AFAIK

BitOutOfPractice · 19/01/2017 19:26

Woohoo! Lost a whole Linda so I'm now down 8.2lbs for the month. Well pleased.

OP posts:
Squiffy01 · 19/01/2017 19:36

Well bloody done everyone! Wish I was doing so well. It feels like I have been snacking constantly today, I've been sooo hungry.

Going to try for some swimming tomorrow. Wish I could book in lots of classes but the time I finish work and the hen get back near my gym it is 7:30 at the earliest so generally only yoga left after that which costs extra and I'm cheap!

lastqueenofscotland · 19/01/2017 20:06

Does anyone do cheat days? A friend swears by having one a month, and I'm thinking if I'm planning on not putting it all back on as usual I will be eating a lot less and wonder if it might keep me sane!

BitOutOfPractice · 19/01/2017 20:28

I don't have cheat days as such. Sometimes I go over my calories but try to have a super-golden day next day.

Do you mean just having a massive blow out?

OP posts:
lastqueenofscotland · 19/01/2017 20:46

My friend, admittedly who lives off like chicken an acocado and egg whites, has one day a week where she has maybe a big fry up and a pizza.

I've been reading about them and the advise varies...
Well done on your loss boop!!

Archduke · 19/01/2017 21:59

I can't do blow out days, I'm the person that has to be all steely and careful or I'll just lose it and go nuts. I guess that it makes sense if you're feeling deprived but now I'm totally angelic and eating really healthily Halo I find I really don't want pizza/chips/crisps/choc any more... but if I do eat them again then it will trigger off those cravings again. For instance I have some Lindor chocs siting in my fridge and have no desire to stuff myself, whereas a few weeks ago I'd have eaten them for breakfast.

Archduke · 19/01/2017 22:06

Awesome work on the losses ladies. BOOP 8lbs in 3 weeks is awesome work and size 12!!! Well done.

I went to a bbq last night and managed to stick to chops and salad and WATER not WINE but WATER. I am a bloody Saint. Still up 100gms this morning ffs

Archduke · 19/01/2017 22:10

One too many awesomes in that last post. It's early here.
