Happy New Year Slenderistas.

Let's move away from the Christmas bugger and ditch Linda for good.

Fantastic BOOP! Well done, that's an amazing loss. I am having a mini woosh after stalling for a bit (partly due to arrival of period) and I am 0.75lb off the 7 mark, I am amazed! I think partly due to me upping my daily steps - my Fitbit app has given me new goals of a reduced daily target, this has had the effect of me actually working harder to achieve the target so I have been marching in my kitchen most evenings for 10mins! Off for a big walk this afternoon.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 21/01/2017 10:26

Go BOOP! Go BOOP! Wow, 11.2! That's amazing!

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 21/01/2017 10:39

I have to share this to encourage myself Grin
New bikini for holiday and it's a bit...snug
So I have to be good!!

KikisDeliveryService · 21/01/2017 10:50

Fucking hell boop! ShockGrin So that's the power of no-booze calories eh? (And all your other efforts of course.) Your suffering has all paid off.

So to recap: you've been doing 1200 calls per day? You log all calorie intake and stick to it most days and don't eat back exercise cals? So pre-Jan (not including Xmas obvs) you included booze calories into this limit? Please bore me with your process! I've been incredibly impressed with your restraint this month as I can be amazingly disciplined but it takes very little to derail me.

BitOutOfPractice · 21/01/2017 10:59

That's exactly it kiki

I log EVERYTHING on mfp and I'm a bit anal on that. I even log every tea and coffee, ketchup, everything that passes my lips (and I log before I eat it). I stick to 1200 calories. Very rarely go over if at all. Before January that included booze.

I walk 10,000 steps a day. That includes a 5km run two or three times a week plus the odd class.

I think what's happened is that because I've been doing it for 6 months it's now just second nature. What I do. That's been the difference for me. I'm also lucky that I don't have a sweet tooth at all so I only eat something sweet maybe once or twice a week.

I sound like an insufferable prig now but honestly I do eat lovely food and have the odd blow out. But most weeks I just power on through. I am very stubborn so if I start a streak of something (like 10K steps on the Fitbit) I get very stubborn about keeping it up

Beyond you are such a similar shape to me! I hate getting my kit off in front of anyone so you are very brave. You can do this!

Arsey haha, that pic of fat is so gross and brilliant! I once weighed all my shopping that I was struggling to carry, back when I was good at losing weight , and being quite amazed at how it was the same as the weight I'd lost. It does put it in perspective, especially at how difficult it is to physically carry.

Cute bikini beyond! It's making me chilly to see a half naked lady on my screen though I must admit. I feel cold all of the time lately. Apparently being cold is good for weightloss - all that shivering and breathing out!

Being ill set me back this week - missed yoga so now my back is being grumbly. No running at all for 2 weeks and only hit 10,000+ steps once this week. No fasts and my intake has not been reduced accordingly on the other days. But I've got a couple of hours tkd training planned today and hopefully a run tomorrow will put me back into good habits for Monday fasting. And then maybe I can make some headway beyond just losing the xmas podge.

KikisDeliveryService · 21/01/2017 11:07

boop, impressive just to keep powering on. That's the secret really isn't it?! But I think it really goes to show how much booze calories affect us and I'm 100% considering a proper dry February. No birthdays, short month, we've nearly got through our christmas supplies... it's doable. And for starters, definitely no booze on weekdays and possibly only one weekend day, if that.

KikisDeliveryService · 21/01/2017 11:11

I have periods when I log everything onto a spreadsheet so I can see where I've gone wrong or done well, and often just to stop me eating so I don't have to log it. I haven't done it for a while but maybe I need to. It's probable that my portions sizes are off again. MFP and the like get a bit arsey about fast days and the fasting does suit me in many ways but maybe I need to mix it up and try out a bit of daily reduced calorie.

Dammit! I just bought hot cross buns!

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 21/01/2017 11:11

That's how I was before xmas BOOP, I've completely lost my mojo though. It does not help that DH is "dieting" and seems to think I need the same amount of calories as him!!

Today will be a bit crap for me, but the shopping is coming later so I'll have healthy stuff to eat tomorrow. I'll still try to get my steps and drink my water today though...

QuimReaper · 21/01/2017 11:52

YOU GUYS! What an amazing little clutch of updates! 8lb from Pink and ELEVEN from BOOP, cast iron restraint from Squiffy, a PB and indecent exposure from Archie (I did chuckle at you running in a belt Grin )... Bloody incredible work!

BOOP I hate to say I toldjaso about the stuck scales GrinGrin You can wheel this one out next time any of us get a stall - I reckon you're on track for a stone this month, imagine!

Gorgeous bikini Beyond and your Phoenix is looking fab.

lastqueenofscotland · 21/01/2017 11:54

Boop you look ace!!

I didn't have a golden day yesterday but... I do a lot of competitive distance running, which is easier when a bit lighter, I won my race today Shock best 5k time for a year and there is a photo of me coming into he finish where I look quite trim!

When I finally get rid of this other half stone and back to my old racing weight when u was quite good I can wait to see what happens,

It would have been like running round with a half stone rucksack and j wondered why I was struggling!

QuimReaper · 21/01/2017 11:55

Binary "Linda" was when sh0rty typed "lb" and it autocorrected to "Linda", and it sort of stuck Smile

BOOP those tomatoes look like such a good idea, especially in winter - can you tell me a bit more? Just sliced, sprinkled I'm dried thyme and whacked in there, or any other ingredients?

QuimReaper · 21/01/2017 11:59

queenie that's incredible, well done! Shock What a great feeling. I haven't done anything competitive like that since I was a child, I've almost forgotten the feeling of "winning". Probably because I hardly ever did Grin I would like to take something like that up again though.

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 21/01/2017 12:03

Ta quim :)

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 21/01/2017 12:04

Weyhey well done queen!! 🏅

Chardonnay73 · 21/01/2017 12:06

Everyone is doing so well!! I'm 0.5 lb down today so 1.5 this week - 8.5 in total. I'm in my danger zone now where I usually give up so after another stern talking to from Boop yesterday I am determined to power through it.Grin

ArseyTussle · 21/01/2017 12:16

Amazing work on the shorts Archie. Have you considered braces? Grin

BOOP, you're officially heading for Minxdom thanks to your iron will. You're doing brilliantly, bravo.

Well done other slim jims and runners!

BitOutOfPractice · 21/01/2017 12:19

Quim can you read this? It really is that easy!

Thanks all for not telling me to fuck off Grin

That sounds amazing BOOP - what recipe book is it from? I just made Joe Wicks' eggs baked in an avocado - bit of trial and error getting them in the avocado but they are really nice.

ponygirlcurtis · 21/01/2017 12:52

Actual green eggs and ham! Grin extra classy points for eating off DS2's Minions placemat...

Pony I used to live in Hong Kong and thought for a minute they were century eggs... But thankfully realised they are in avocado and don't vom

BitOutOfPractice · 21/01/2017 14:03

It's from a book I bought called low calorie slow cooker or some such. Hold on I'll have a look.

I tried that baked avocado egg recipe but discovered I don't like cooked avocado
