Thanks Loli I was 13st 7 on the 4th January and now I'm 10st7, did get down to 10st 6 two days before my hols but obviously gained.

I was a size 14-16 and now all of my tops are 10s I have 1 size 10 pair of jeans and my other size 12 jeans are loose on the waist so think I could do with them all being 10s. I think I'm more hourglass shape now rather than just fat Grin I still have biggish boobs although they have shrunk, a small waist but I have hips and thighs. My face and arms are a lot thinner too. I definitely feel more confident about my body now but it'd probably look even better if I exercised. I've not done any Blush

Lolimax · 25/09/2016 13:20

That's amazing Must. I'm a bit of a strange shape at the moment but so much bigger than you! Starting weight 16.2, now 13.6, I was aiming for 12.6 but I'm not sure whether to aim for 12. I was bursting out a size 18, im now a 14/16. Like you my arms, face and waist are the most noticeable although DH tells me I have no arse. I'm 5ft 8 and 1/2.

SesameSparkle · 25/09/2016 15:12

Hello everyone! It's been a busy week and this thread has moved so fast I haven't been able to keep up! I'm still keeping on, weighed in a smidgen under 10st today with a bit of hot stepping and I'm hoping to drop properly into the 9s within the next few days. I'm still trying to shop for my new figure which is a bit hit and miss right now - I'm now 10 on the hips 12 on the top, which makes it nigh on impossible to find dresses to fit - which is pretty much all I was wearing for work previously. Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday. I've read back a couple of days and I'm still enjoying all the updates.

SesameSparkle · 25/09/2016 15:42

loli my shape has changed a lot with my loss. When I was at my biggest - in the 15/16st range - I was big all over and a size 20. As I slimmed down, at the start I was just a slimmer version of the same, fitting into an 18 then 16 etc. When I got into the 12st something bracket I was noticeably slimmer in my hips/bum/thighs. And at my previous low, around 11st7, I was an apple shaped 14 (I'm a few inches shorter than you) - no bum/hips but also very little definition in my waist - and so wore a lot of empire lines. Now I'm 1.5st lighter, I've finally lost something from that waist and I'm now more hour glass in shape. Those few pounds have also shaped up my shoulders/collar bone/arms, giving much nicer 'rectangular' shape around my shoulders, my face is also slimmer, and unfortunately my boobs are much smaller.

Lolimax · 25/09/2016 16:00

Wow that's some weight loss Sesame! Really interesting about how your body shape has changed. You should be so proud of yourself. Do people who haven't seen you look twice?

Bathsheba3 · 25/09/2016 17:29

Great to hear about everyone's "before" and "after" shapes. I wore a pair of size 14 trousers today to walk the dog that didn't fit a month ago! Still snug, but all going in the right direction. Wish I wasn't so impatient though - I want to be joining Must, Sesame & not in the size 10 jeans club. To be honest a size 12 bottoms will be my goal - I'm a good old fashioned pear.

Loli - just curious about your DH - is he overweight? Just wondering why he isn't v supportive to you? I think you are doing brilliantly! Glad you are enjoying your exercise - and I bet you have a lovely shapely bottom now Grin

Bathsheba3 · 25/09/2016 17:31

oh and Must - 1/2 tub ice cream is certainly not a binge by my standards. Hope you enjoyed your eve / night watching TV, & have a better night's rest tonight.

Sugarandsalt · 25/09/2016 18:29

Wow it's been busy on here today! Great to hear about everybody's changing shape! Loli congrats on being so close to 3stone down, it's such a great feeling seeing the percentage weight loss on MFP go up isn't it!

I had an ok day. Weighed in a lb down (finally!) and am now back to 12st1 again. I really want to be back into the 11s before next weekend when I fly back home for a family party (i.e. Lots of food and wine). I have kept almost the same proportions with smaller measurements since losing weight; I think that's why I don't feel I look that different. I expect to become less hourglass shaped and more pearshaped as I lose more though.

Today I had scrambled eggs with turkey rashers and spinach for breakfast (350cals) and lunch out at the zoo (family day out)- I had a wrap with falafel and hummus- estimating 600cals but who knows! Dinner is in the oven, sweet potato topped shepherds pie (around 500cals). Also had a peach- all comes to approx 1500cals. 12000 steps, and will do 30day shred before dinner. DH is kindly putting the 2 year old to bed most evenings so I can exercise.

coragreta · 25/09/2016 18:33

I'm very jealous of everyone's shapes. I'm an apple shape. Huge boobs (34GG) and a huge tummy. Plus I'm still comfortable in size 14 and my 12s are way too tight. I think I have a small frame and I'm only 5ft 2. Goal weight is in the 8st 10. Bang in the middle of healthy weight for height.

Finished today at 1256 although I must have underestimated my Sunday roast. I couldn't weigh it as I was eating out. I do official weigh ins Monday and Friday so hoping I'll be down tomorrow!

Lolimax · 25/09/2016 18:33

Bath- we've had a long talk and I told him how I felt. Yes he is overweight but that's only recently as he's on high dose steroids due to illness, for the first time in the 6 years we've been together I now weigh less than him. I'm sure his attitude is linked to this. And well done on the size 14's!

Fitterbysixty · 25/09/2016 19:36

It's interesting how everyone has changed size. I'm 5' 4.5" (that half inch makes so much difference to me) and at 16 stone I was a 24 top and a 26 bottom. I've now lost 2.5 stone (15kg) and I'm wearing a size 22 trouser. Tops are a mystery size because I'm wearing things from my wardrobe and occasionally weeding out the ones that are too much like sacks. At some point I will need to buy some new tops and I'll have to have a tape measure session before I go shopping so I can have a clue what size to take into the changing room.

I am still procrastinating about joining the gym, my crop pants are huge now so until I get a smaller pair it's on hold. Moaning about it has just made me go and look on the M&S website and they've had new stock in that wasn't there when I looked last so I have a pair on the way. Sadly they are 20-22 so this might not go well.

Time now to see the Wii Fit trainer lady so she can berate me for my lack of commitment. She can suck it up, it was sunny yesterday so I was out walking. When it's cold, wet and miserable she'll see more of me.

SesameSparkle · 25/09/2016 19:50

loli thanks, yes some people who haven't seen me in years have even walked past me, without recognising me at all!

bath yay for the size 14 jeans! Star

cora well you've just given me boob envy! I really wish I could choose where I lost the weight from.

fitter I think I said before I can totally recommend a dressmaker to help things fit in the interim when you have a lot of weight to lose. Where I am it costs about £12 for a basic side seam alteration. You could even take on those joggers!

Not2bObvious · 25/09/2016 20:01

fitter you're 13.7 stone now yes? I definitely think the 20-22 bottoms will fit, if anything I'd think they'd be too big! I'm really surprised you're in a size 22, I honestly would have thought at most an 18, at most (sorry for repeating myself, outraged on your behalf as you can see)
I think you're doing brilliant!
I've been an awful piggie today, picky knickers. Back on track tomorrow

Fitterbysixty · 25/09/2016 21:07

I was 13.11 as of this morning. I carry most of my weight on my hips, when I was 12.8 I was wearing a size 18. I really do have a huge bum, although it's not as big as it was. My hips still are a 22 according to the M&S sizing but leggings are stretchy so I might get away with it.

Sesame I can sew, I was looking at the baggy bottoms in question earlier with a view to taking them in and then I thought that I've spent too many years making do with whatever I could find that would fit me (or nearly fit me) so I'm going to have new. The dusty side of my wardrobe is filled with clothes that I used to look good in so I'm hoping to slowly recover some of them but there's no exercise clobber in there apart from a sports bra that I'm already probably too small for.

It's a new week ahead of us, let's all keep on counting those calories and look forward(!) to the next weigh in.

Bathsheba3 · 25/09/2016 21:09

Feeling v nibbly.

Bathsheba3 · 25/09/2016 21:10

I must resist. I must resist. I must resist.

Wallywobbles · 25/09/2016 21:14

Fitter likewise surprised by your size. I'm 5'3 currently 83.4kgs and a 16 down from 98.8kg which was a biggish 18. The 16s are getting a bit loose but not enough where I think 14 is worth looking for yet. I'm wondering if I've kept any from when I was last that size a decade or so ago.

Today I went for a walk and my foot didn't hurt. First time in over a year. Felt awesome. Still can't believe that one session with ms wonderfeet woman and it's over. I'm even contemplating running but that'll pass!

Loli I've told DP there is no way I'm stopping until I way less than him but he also seems to be loosing because I'm not force feeding him. So moving goalposts. And another stone away I think.

Must I'm longing for thinner arms. They've always been huge. I'm a swimmer and with riding and stuff I have always had arms that are impossible to stuff in a jacket.

Not2bObvious · 25/09/2016 21:16

Please resist bath, I've made a shocking pig of myself & I want others to not go down that path. Off to bed with you woman NOW

Bathsheba3 · 25/09/2016 21:40

Thanks Not. I am resisting, for the time being. Bloody boring though. Off to bed in 20 mins - watching Victoria. Love a Sunday night period-drama.

Wally - amazing news on your foot. Do take it easy though.

SesameSparkle · 25/09/2016 22:57

fitter treating yourself to new sounds good too, and so does saving the recycling only for those things you still really love.

not naughty!

bath resist!

wally great news on the foot

madein1995 · 25/09/2016 23:38

must well done, that’s fabulous and so inspiring!

loli it must be a great feeling fitting into smaller clothes Smile

salt well done on the weigh in

cora good calorie count for today and Sunday roasts are relatively healthy considering the amount of veg you’ll have eaten Wink

fitter I’m surprised you’re a size 20-22 at 13.5 stone – I’m that now at 17 stone but it’s all to do with body shape I think, plus shops are so inconsistent with sizes. Like not says I’d have thought a size 18 at most at 13 and a half stone (roughly), maybe even a 16. Tell me if I’m overstepping the mark, but I tend to think I’m a bigger dress than I am (when I was a size 16 after losing weight last year was still wearing my size 20s), could you possibly be doing similar?

wally I’m glad your foot is better, you’ll be running in no time! Smile

bath are you hungry enough for something really boring (like a ham sandwich on a piece of brown bread, or a banana?) If so, then eat that, if that tell yourself that you’re only allowed to eat that boring item and if you don’t want that then you aren’t really hungry – odd but works for me sometimes

In at 1345 today so ok, really. Lunch was beef dinner with lots of veg, then a small (measured) portion of rice pudding (sugarless because dad is diabetic) with a dollop of strawberry jam (684). Been drinking strawberry flavoured water (4 cals) and tea (8 cals) and water. Tea was a tin of mushroom soup, 2 slices of bread and a scraping of butter (432). Supper was porridge and 3 teaspoons of sugar at 9pm (147). Was too sweet so will try one and a half sugars tomorrow. Ate some chewing gum after (5) and had some grapes (65) a few minutes ago. So plenty of food and not skimping on calories – but it’s all relatively healthy. Weigh in tomorrow so shall see how I’ve got on this week Smile

Hopefully · 26/09/2016 06:02

Just popping in to say hello, am not even going to attempt to catch up! Been away for the weekend. Period arrived, so am a couple of lbs up. Have been fairly lax about food but no idea how much of the gain is period and how much is actual. Hoping that getting back on track today means that by the time the bloat has gone I'll have lost any excess weight too.

Bathsheba3 · 26/09/2016 07:07

Hello Hopefully. Hope you had a nice weekend away.

I resisted - hurray! But even still I'm 1 lb up today. Could well be the shepherd's pie I had (late dinner) or most probably the chinese saturday eve - even though I thought I was being SO good with my choices and portion control. Obviously not. Oh well. Will be knuckling-down big time this week.

Not2bObvious · 26/09/2016 07:49

Definitely just residual food in your system bath, be gone in a day or 2. Back to the grind today, all junk bagged up & out of sight. Scales still at 2.4 up from Friday, last Monday it was 2.6 up, the Monday before 3.6 - so maybe there's a trend emerging? It's going the right way at least. Be interesting to see how many days to shift it, if it could be gone by Wednesday I stand a chance of getting 1lb down this week.
Best of luck for your weigh in made, you've really keep your cals low & you've been doing a super amount of exercise - I hope you get a lovely reward😉

Sugarandsalt · 26/09/2016 09:24

Cora I know having an hourglass shape sounds great, but it's so hard to find clothes that flatter. Essentially if I'm not dressed up I look like I'm in pyjamas- I can't pull off the skinny jean/floaty top look that seems to be most people's easy casual go to. I wish someone designed clothes for different shapes so you could go to the "apple shaped" "pear shaped" or "hourglass" section! Good luck with your weigh in today!

Loli I'm glad you sorted things out with your other half. If he's struggling with his own body image he may be finding it hard to see changes in yours.

Fitter also surprised at the sizes you are wearing now, I think you should wander to a shop and try on some 18s and some 16s. You don't have to buy them but they'll give you an idea and maybe a confidence boost!

Sesame I think I need a seamstress to sort some of my clothes out. Wally well done on your resolve so far and great news on the foot! Made good luck today.

Not I'm sure it's mostly bloat, and hopefully will drop quickly.

I'm the same as yesterday on scales. Which I'm happy with. I think I've accepted that my mad weekend did put some pounds back but I'm losing them slowly again now! Going to be very strict again coming up to another trip home this weekend, and keep up the exercise. Comfortable now with level one of the 30 day shred, 3 more days before movingly to level 2. I watched level 2 yesterday (while eating my dinner!) and scared myself half to death. May need to revert to tins of beans again instead of my 2kg handweights!
