Well done Helena. I'm in the same boat as you. Still struggling too.

As well as all of that I'm 3.5 weeks into no sugar too.

Might as well go the whole hog.

Travelling again so it's very difficult right now.

When we go home were home for a whole 6 weeks ( apart from a weekend in Edinburgh) so should be able to be even more focused.

Oh my giddy aunt. I'd just forgotten I get married in that period too!

Yikes!

Nose to grindstone Dowser!

helenahandbag · 26/05/2015 10:02

So, DP and I booked New York yesterday - I'm getting married in April Shock

329 days to go - eek!

Dowser · 26/05/2015 20:00

Well done ;-)

You are getting married in New York. How wonderful!

Still travelling. Still eating all over the place!!!

Dowser · 04/06/2015 10:51

Am still pegging away at it. How is everyone else doing .

5madthings · 04/06/2015 12:26

Thanks dowser for the link, I lost you guys!

I got married last week and it was amazing, the perfect relaxed day like we wanted and then three nights away with no kids!

Some pics for you. The weather was fa. I loved my dress, everything was just how I wanted but better.

Our trip away was amazing, though typically madthing5 got chickenpox whilst we were away, but at least she waited til after the wedding.

Good luck on your weightloss and plans, I shall hang around as I still have 7lb to lose! But my dress fitted perfectly, it arrived four days before the wedding, wr got the rings the weekend before, basically all a bit last minute and rushed but it was fab.

Ahh congratulations, what lovely photos!

How rude of madthing5! Grin My cousin got married two weeks ago and her dad rudely got the mumps just before it, she was so worried that he would ruin the photos be ill on the day and infect everyone.

Dowser · 04/06/2015 18:53

Awww. You all look so lovely. Can't believe your dress didn't arrive till four days before your wedding day.

That was a really close shave. Congratulations and hope you have a long, happy and healthy life together.
Will you still try to lose that 7 lbs or is that it now.
If I was on a diet I'd be heartily sick of it but this is a lifestyle for me to keep healthy.

I don't think I'm losing. One day itmight just feel energetic enough to try to do some toning exercise.

Slender tone? Would that help!

Dowser · 20/06/2015 11:51

How are all the brides doing?

Anyone else married yet? FSC married this week and is now off on her honey moon.

if you've got married, do come back and tell us how it went. How your dress looked with or without a dramatic weifgr loss.

I think what's going on eh might have had her nuptials by now or maybe next week. Not sure.

Mine are 3.5 weeks away. This is my legal and low key ceremony. I tried my dress on and it looks fab. It's just a very pretty day dress.

I won't try the proper one on till end of July.

I'm not eating enough so I going to log onto Mfp to keep track.

Other than that all is good.

helenahandbag · 22/06/2015 09:21

Hi everyone, sorry for abandoning this thread. I was feeling quite stressed and overwhelmed and helpless, stuck in a binge-starve guilt cycle again and I just didn't have anything productive to add. I was too defensive and sensitive to post here and take the kick up the arse that I needed.

I'm feeling much more in control of my eating disorder at the moment, I'm out of my rough patch. Today marks day 8 of low carb, high fat and aside from Thursday evening I've been 100% on track. I'm down 8lbs of binge regain and almost back into the 13's.

3.5 weeks is nothing Dowser, that will fly by! Make sure to get photos for us!

gotredonyou · 22/06/2015 09:29

Hi all, just saw this thread pop up again!
Great photos 5mad - Your dress is lovely!
Not long now Dowser- Glad you are feeling good in your day dress.
Well done for getting back in control Helena !

I'm a month into The body Coach plan and 8lbs down. Doing weights/hiit sessions 4x a week so hoping this really tones me up.
Got my bridesmaid dresses at the weekend and ordered a beautiful pearl tiara- everything is coming together now :)

Dowser · 22/06/2015 10:00

Lovely to hear from you both. Sorry to hear you've been struggling Helena. Ive found giving up sugar apart from an apple a day the way to go for my ibs. 8 weeks now. I'm feeling a bit leaner but it's a long slow process.

You are doing well GOTRED. Hide long to your wedding. Less than 3 months to mine.

I ate too many nachos last night at my daughters summer solstice party but I didn't touch the toasted marshmallows or oh fathers day chocs.

All I need to do is to decide how to have my hair for the civil ceremony and the easy option is washed and down. Luckily my cousins friend is coming to Tenerife and is a hairdresser so we are going to try it pinned up.

If it hadn't been for this thread I would have been bigger and bloated and panicking!

So thank you all.

Have a good day and make some excellent choices. Just about to have my omelette ;-)

gotredonyou · 22/06/2015 10:16

It was exactly 5 months to go yesterday! I've got three months to get my bikini body and then I'll need my dress altered to fit me and then maintain till the big day.
I'm having my hair in a curly updo - my hairdresser is doing a trial next month :)

helenahandbag · 22/06/2015 10:27

I've decided to have my hair down, which surprised me as I've always loved curly, loose updos. I booked my stylist for hair and make up on the day and she doesn't charge extra to include hair extensions (my own, obviously she doesn't provide them) so I'll have double weft clip ins for extra volume and I want big, loose curls. Maybe half up, half down with a pearl/crystal hair comb at the back.

My dress is a size 12 so I have to drop two full sizes. I'm 1cm off my waist in four days though so onwards and downwards!

Dowser · 23/06/2015 09:31

Sounds like you're going in the right direction Helena because it's not till next year is it?

My dress is a sixteen....a one with an enlarged waist at that.

My wedding dress is XL and appears to fit. Just needs the shoulder straps shortening.

I normally have my hair down ( or tied in a ponytail as its usually windy) so as there's likely to be a bit of a breeze down on the beach I'm going to have a loose knit knot with pearl and diamanté pins tying it up. I hope. That's the plan.

We are up to 24 guests.

How many have you got GOTRED.

Just tucking into the morning omelette!

gotredonyou · 23/06/2015 09:54

We've got 65 day guests and 100 evening guests- makes me nervous thinking about that!! Need to do the table plan when we get all our rsvps back.

I want my hair like this > s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/03/ec/7a/03ec7ac64bcb3f0f16324ac04609394f.jpg with my crystal & pearl tiara. I always wear my hair down so will be nice to have a special updo.

helenahandbag · 23/06/2015 11:05

Dowser 20th April next year - 302 days to go Smile

gotred that's pretty much exactly how I'd always pictured my hair. Mine is always either down and straight or in a "junkie bun" as DP calls it Grin my hair is quite thin so it will be nice to fill it out with extensions and have nice full, bouncy curls for a change.

Dowser · 24/06/2015 10:03

Oooh much less than a year Helena.

Ours was 18 months when we booked it and now it's less than 3 months.

I love that hair do. So pretty and not stiff and stageyfied.

I haven't decided yet.

Dowser · 14/09/2015 21:11

Well it's the night before the flight and the good news is I'm 10 st 5 lbs and I was 10-9 at end of July
If you're struggling ladies stick with it as you will really appreciate your effort.

I've had a really poorly couple of days so this Was the boost I needed.

So, I will enjoy my holiday...after the wedding. I need to breathe and eat in my dress. Then Christmas I want Tobe 64 kg

That's 9-13.

So that's my next goal.

Stick in, it's so worth it.

helenahandbag · 15/09/2015 09:38

That's come around quickly Dowser, how exciting! Well done on the weight loss too, you'll need to post some pictures of your lovely day when you get back Smile

I've got 218 days to go... 216 until we fly out. I'm one week into the Cambridge Diet and I have my first weigh in tonight so we'll see how I get on Shock

Dowser · 29/09/2015 23:46

Well all done and dusted.

Just got back and shattered.

Will say more tomorrow ;-)
