Anyone aiming for 10stone?

Hello!
I'm looking for someone to kind of compete (in a friendly way) to get to 10 stone.
Me and a friend once decided that neither of us would eat any chocolate, biscuits, cake etc and kind of competed and I did well at it but he crumbled!

Anyway about me:
I'm 5 foot 4
11st 6
Size 10-12 on top
12-14 on bottom

Planning on running and a bit of strength training for my exercise, I think diet will be the hard part.

If you think you'd like to pair up or form a group to lose weight together that'd be great Smile

Well done Bezza. I am the same height as you and got back down to 10 stone after my DS, but not as quickly as you - I took about 6 months!

Weighed 10s 3 3/4 today. Did exercise for the first time in years! I did the 30 day shred - I'm going to try to do it 3 times a week so I'll update any results I get from that and if it helps tone me up.

I hope every single one of you hits your goal! With hard work and commitment I am sure you all will very soon.

Remember, the best 5 exercises to lose weight are these:

5 sets of not eating rubbish!

Haven't been on here for a while am going away next week and am determined to get to 10st on my return loads of positive vibes on here. I am 10 6 today so 2 off even though not very good diet but exercise when I can. I will get there !

Bezzabelle · 04/07/2014 15:25

Thanks- am pretty motivated although my husband has been away for a few days and has text to say he wants a takeaway tonight- He wants some curry so may just have a small plate of his. My mum has been round this week to help out with the boys and she is a bit of a feeder- I've had to constantly say no to a biscuit with my cup of tea etc!

Bought a pair of shorts this morning which fit but are on the snug side- figured in 3 weeks time and hopefully another 6 pounds off, they will fit perfectly! Hope so- will keep them in mind whenever I want to eat chocolate!

Keep going everyone!

I've not had such a great day today as I find it difficult as I have is much nice food in the house as my DS's are both underweight and so I make big dinners and buy lots of snacks for them. It is so hard to eat an apple when there is shortbread in the house! I'm just having a cup of tea and I won't eat anything else til tomorrow!

I've had so many nights out this week. So not a lot of exercise and quite a few j2o's (I know how to live!!!) Asked for the lite option at Prezzo, but got the full calorie option. Could not be bothered to make a fuss as i was in company, so scoffed the lot. Weighted myself yesterday.. Had put on 3 lbs.

I decided to eat only 600 cals yesterday and I'm back at 9st 12lb this morning. I am going to be extremely good this weekend as weight loss challenge weigh-in is on Monday.

(DH is eating a huge bowl of Alpen and just about to start on 2 slices of buttery toast as I sit here with a glass of water typing this... Soooo jealous!)

Danceasifnooneswatching · 05/07/2014 09:04

2lb lost this week....determination is starting to slip but reading some of these has spurred me on again!!

Well done everyoneGrin

Bezzabelle · 05/07/2014 17:24

10st 13 this morning- something about going down to the next stone that is soooo good! Really want to be 10st7 in 3 weeks time by ds1 3rd birthday. That'll be 2 pounds a week till then so hoping that I won't plateau.

Keep going everyone- you'll only stop losing if you give up!

Whatutalkinboutwillis · 05/07/2014 22:35

Aghh only half a pound off this week despite walking 38 miles!! Period week and feel bloated so don't know if that's not helped. So now 3.5lbs off 10 stone.... I can do it!!!!

Well done everyone this week some great losses

Bezzabelle · 06/07/2014 01:44

Half a pound is better than nothing!

felttippens · 06/07/2014 10:21

Great losses on this thread well done ! Are you following specific plans or just cutting down ?

Bezzabelle · 06/07/2014 13:10

I'm just eating my three meals a day and not doing the mindless snacking. I'm bf a 7 week old so not starving myself but I do ask myself if I'm hungry before I eat! Breakfast is wetabix with chopped banana, will have a Brie and tomato baguette for lunch and yogurt and then a normal dinner but not huge portions. Also walking about 3 miles a day with pram.

breward · 06/07/2014 14:10

I have been having porridge for breakfast with canderal sugar, chicken and cous cous salad for lunch (with homemade coleslaw, seeds and raisins in the salad- yummy and very filling), then a ww meal and salad for dinner or soup and some snacking bits.

Diet and food reduction is the key, but exercise has helped focus the mind... You can't eat if swimming, cycling or jogging!

I have just done 50 lengths (1200m) of my local pool and yesterday I walked into town (40minutes each way) and back, then went out for a 1 hour walk in the evening with OH.

Was 9st 11 this morning.

Bezzabelle · 06/07/2014 14:58

Well done breward- I agree I think exercise helps as you don't want to undo the hard work by eating junk after!

Bezzabelle · 06/07/2014 15:10

What's your target breward?

breward · 06/07/2014 19:30

I'm 5'7" so 9st 7 would be ideal.

I was aiming to lose a stone over the 9 week challenge; I have lost one stone and 2 lbs though Grin. I will wear the lightest clothes I can find to work in the morning and eat some breakfast after the weigh-in!... Every little helps!!

Bezzabelle · 06/07/2014 19:45

That's fab- it's amazing what a bit of healthy competition does to your motivation!

frankie5 · 06/07/2014 20:04

Ok weekend over now, was out with friends, at a BBQ etc, so was quite hard. Only 3 weeks til my holiday so I am just thinking of the bikini and that is keeping me going! Going to exercise 3 times this week, as I agree that it keeps you in the right frame of mind. I am enjoying looking a bit slimmer - it really helps my confidence.

Bezzabelle · 07/07/2014 22:09

How odd you get on at your work challenge breward?

Bezzabelle · 07/07/2014 22:10

did not odd!!

breward · 07/07/2014 22:18

Lost 17lbs. Others lost 1lb and 0.6lb. 5 more weigh-ins during the week for part time/job share staff. Prizes announced on Friday!

Bezzabelle · 07/07/2014 22:32

I reckon you've got it on the bag then!! That's amazing!
0.6 pounds?!? Did they even try?

Bezzabelle · 07/07/2014 22:33

in the bag- can't type tonight- am blaming sleep deprivation!

Bezzabelle · 09/07/2014 07:13

Where is everyone??
Had a sneaky mid week weigh in today- 10st12 now so another pound down. 8 weeks ago I had just come out of hospital after having ds2 and was 12st 9. Know a lot of it was fluid but feels pretty good!
Come on ladies, if you've slipped a bit, still chance to get back on track! (Trying to be motivational!)

frankie5 · 09/07/2014 14:06

Well done Bezzabelle!

Not had a good few days. Today weigh 10s4. Find it really difficult to get motivated even though I will be wearing a bikini in a few weeks!
