Anyone aiming for 10stone?

Hello!
I'm looking for someone to kind of compete (in a friendly way) to get to 10 stone.
Me and a friend once decided that neither of us would eat any chocolate, biscuits, cake etc and kind of competed and I did well at it but he crumbled!

Anyway about me:
I'm 5 foot 4
11st 6
Size 10-12 on top
12-14 on bottom

Planning on running and a bit of strength training for my exercise, I think diet will be the hard part.

If you think you'd like to pair up or form a group to lose weight together that'd be great Smile

Sneaky mid week weigh in and am 10st 7 so a pound down- haven't done very much exercise this week so am wondering ruffling feathers if you are right! Have been ok with food though. Made a no pastry quiche this week and used evaporated milk instead of cream and had that for two nights with salad so maybe low carbing works for me?

Away this weekend so prob eat and drink a bit but know I will get back on it again next week!

How's everyone else?

Ha, just expressed 5oz milk and out of interest weighed again and was 10st 6- brilliant!!!!

Hi,
Just back from 2 weeks in the USA. Big breakfasts but loads of walking too each day. Got on the scales with trepidation.... 9 st 12lb phew!

It will be good to get back to proper meals with lots of salad and veggies.

How is everyone else getting on?

Wednesday weigh-in: 9st 9.5lb

Still jet lagged and have not fancied eating, walking or doing much really.

Glad I am back to pre holiday weight. New goal is to be 9st 7 before I start my new job in Sept.

Hi breward- glad someone still around, had gone very quiet.

I've had a long weekend away and came back and was 10st 7. Not bad considering I ate quite a bit. Hoping to be 10.6 again by sat. Going on hol next sat and my original goal for then was to be 10st 4 so may get there if I'm really good! That''ll be 3 stone off since the day before I had ds2 13 weeks ago.

9st 11.5... Going the wrong way but had visitors all weekend and picnics out. Will do more exercise this week and try to be good when making food choices.

Keep with it Bezza. Are we the last ones standing or are people away on holiday?

Can I join. I am 5'7 and 12st1. Need to lose weight but struggling to motivate myself so a but if a push would be good!

Welcome Kate and good luck. We tend to weigh in on a Wednesday or Saturday, but choose a day to suit you.

Personally I have found water and exercise to be the key. Plenty of both! I try to go out for a walk each evening for 50 mins-1hr, often with OH or a teenage child for company. It is a good excuse to have a 1-1 catch up and natter. Try MFP as a food diary/exercise log.

Keep posting. I try to log in once a day to check posts. X

Haven't weighed myself this week... have not been good so I am avoiding the scales. I imagine everyone else is doing the same.

Come on ladies, don't let me be the only one who hit 10st!

Hi breward....think it's just you and me! I weighed 10st 4 this morning but had a sickness bug whilst on holiday which ds1 also had so hol was cut short so don't think that loss really counts! However I am now 3 stone lighter than I was 15 weeks ago prior to ds2 being born! 5 pounds to go to get to 9st13. My size 10 skinny jeans fit again so am pleased but need to do some planks and sit ups as still have a flabby tummy.

Started new job, been really busy. Father is in hospital recovering from a fall and an op. Stress is good for weight loss!! 9st 11 here.

Sorry breward, hadn't checked in for a while as had gone so quiet. Am 10.4 still but not too disappointed as had lots of meals out etc. My goal is to be 9.13 by 15th Oct when ds2 will be 5 months old. Plan to up the walking from tomor again as have been slacking. Am still EBF so can't cut calories too much.

Sorry to hear about your dad....how are things now?

Dad doing well. Thank you for asking. Job going really well. I have certainly landed on my feet.

Still walking most evenings, just done 40 lengths at the pool too. I get a lunch at work every day- Friday was roast pork followed by treacle sponge and custard, but very small portions so luckily I have not piled on the weight. It is going to be more like a 1940's diet... good wholesome food with nothing processed in sight. I could get used to it!!

9st 10 this morning.

9.13 today but no one is left here! Have lost 3st 5lb since day before ds2 was born 5 months ago and now pre pregnancy weight! Won't post again seeing as no one left but needed to record somewhere!

Hi Bezzabelle, just randomly reading this thread and I always like to look at the end to see if anyone has stuck to it!! I have started a thread called Enough is Enough and I think I'm the only one on there now too!! I'm going to keep going as it really makes me stick to exercise etc if I record it - even if no one reads it!!

Anyway, I wanted to say how brilliant that you have lost so much!! That is amazing!

I just wanted to lose 10lbs. I'm 5'6" and I've always been about 8 1/2 stone, but since getting married last year I've put on over a stone! I just want to be 9st again. I've upped my exercise and just been eating clean for the last 6 weeks and lost 6lbs so far. I'm happy with that!
