Well, the meringue was a success! Looked fab (even if I do say so myself!) and tasted good. Even DH praised it. The whole menu was a success actually and I think had we been on come dine with me, we'd have got 10s 
Unfortunately I had a horrific nights sleep, mainly thanks to a drunk DH snoring away, which meant I asked the hairdresser just to blow dry rather than style my hair so I could go home to sleep. Spent the entire day on the sofa trying to snooze. Horrible. Went out last night and DH totally surprised me by being very careful with the booze. 3 of them shared a bottle of wine and he had 2 ciders, a bottle of beer and 3 grappas which meant he was actually coherent at the end of the evening.

S - A GLASS OF PROSECCO. God it was good.
Today I've been up since 7 but that's ok as I got a decent amount of sleep. Already scoffed some haribo. I might do pancakes for breakfast, otherwise it'll be scrambled egg and bacon. Will consume popcorn with F1 and I actually have no idea what DH is planning on doing for dinner. I fancy a lazy day today though - will put a wash on, clean out the chickens, watch F1, read a book and paint nails. Oh and make lunch for tomorrow.
