BIWI's Two Week Low Carb Boot Camp - starts Monday 16 April

PaquesJeLeVauxBien · 06/04/2012 22:41

I've been back low carbing seriously since February and have lost a stone (almost). I have another 1.5 stones to lose.

It's been going well for me, but I have slowed down in the last month and I'm keen to get things back on track and up the speed of my weight loss. To that end, I have devised a strict two week bootcamp.

It will start on Monday 16 April to give anyone who wants to join in time to sort themselves out, get planning and generally get themselves ready to join in.

Who's up for it?

There is something about him isn't there? (despite the fact he looks as though he may have a heart attack on the job!)

Catsmamma · 14/04/2012 21:13

ooh yes, to Adam, I would. Very much.

and I have the TOT and The Trousers of Ultimate Pride .....I'd be so excited to get those on I might very well explode.

ShirtyKnot · 14/04/2012 21:18

He's just bloody lovely and friendly and funny...and he loves his mother. Grin

sinisterduck · 14/04/2012 21:28

Marking place and have already been LC since last tuesday. Will weigh Monday hoping for a bit off, looking forward to others suffering with me!.

GetOrfMoiLand78 · 14/04/2012 21:31

I love Adam. He has lovely big brown eyes and long eyelashes.

Someone on another thread said he looks like a fat Judd Nelson. Grin

DoraBelveden · 14/04/2012 21:32

Do you think MNHQ might see about a webchat? Grin

Suffering? SinisterDuck? not listening

GetOrfMoiLand78 · 14/04/2012 21:42

OOh yes Dora that would be great - are you going to start a thread to ask MNHQ?

way2serious · 14/04/2012 21:47

I was due to start with you all on Monday but have just weighed myself and I have put on another two pounds. So have decided to make a start tomorrow as way of breaking myself in. I am so sugar and carb dependent I am really worried about doing this boot camp but know if I don't do something soon I am going to end up a complete mess!! I am hoping you will all keep me going through the dark times!

ShirtyKnot · 14/04/2012 21:48

ARF!

I twitter stalked him for a while and bombarded him with tweets

When we go on Holiday I am driving to one of the man v food joints.

DoraBelveden · 14/04/2012 21:51

Oh yes, I shall!

DH is talking about a Man v Food holiday Grin

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 14/04/2012 22:20

oh so glad I found you all! my thread dropped off my active list and I am struggling at the moment.

I did my best while up in Scotland, but it wasnt easy. Temptation was with me the whole time, emotions were high and stress was higher! After the funeral there was a carb fest and I was starving - hadnt had time for breakfast, anyway I had some sandwiches and tried hard not to eat the bread - but not make it obvious. Blush

I had a plate of cakes, scones, and other treats but didnt touch them - drank my weight in black coffee though. It was hard and of course because I had sugary things (few chocs) the cravings are now here. I scoffed some smarties today and we are going out for lunch tomorrow, again trying not to have carbs etc.

I am looking forward to Monday and starting afresh with renewed vigour. Please encourage me to get a grip.

My house is now devoid of gluten free bread and cereal, wine and crisps, so all quick fix carbs are gone! I still have pasta, rice and of course potatoes but as they all need cooking, I will have the chance to talk myself out of it.

My sushi was all of the rice filled variety Blush

GetOrfMoiLand78 · 14/04/2012 22:42

I would love a man V food holiday, accompanied by Adam. Grin

I feel a bit pissed off with myself, because due to laziness I ordered a sag paneer and chicken tikka from the takeaway, and I know that bloats me terribly, and it is weigh in day tomorrow.

And I was 10.6 on the scales this morning - the lowest I have been and cumulatively a 25lb loss. I bet it goes up in the morning. Buggery bollocks.

teaandthorazine · 14/04/2012 23:10

Am Grin at all the Adam-love - thought it was just me! There is definitely something about him...

Anyway, can report that the Whoosh Fairy has finally visited and left me 4lbs lighter!! Woohoo! Feel great today, especially as I was called out last night to a homebirth at 8pm and didn't get back until 5.30 this morning! I did succumb to two choc digestives and three cups of normal tea with milk whilst I was there but I don't feel too bad about it.

Also got a takeaway this evening and think the cream sauce probably had sugar in it, but no rice or naan or samosas for me. Plus - haven't had any booze for a week now - this is definitely something of a record cos I love my red wine. Haven't drunk much water today but will rectify that tomorrow. My little ds gets back from Italy tomorrow so I'll be cooking roast chicken in the evening - can't wait to see him!

Getting ready for bootcamp. Quite looking forward to it - have got a weekend away in the middle though so... Hmmm Grin

Hello to everyone who's joined, this is turning into quite a party!

Tortington · 14/04/2012 23:12

I am planning to lose half a stone initially.I am 9st 10 should be 8st 10 ideally for my height and bone structure.
