Hey everyone,

Saw the last thread was nearly full so thought I would start a new one :)

Just waiting for my beef rogan curry to finish cooking. Smells AMAZING :) Thank god I am off attack now!

Hi all. That sounds yummy BBwannaB.

Well so far, this diet is going great. Have gone from 10st 10lbs to 10st 2.5lbs in just 6 days! Not getting too bored with the diet either, have moments when I feel like scoffing the biscuit tin, but it passes. TBH, the thought of eating bread and pots again kind of scares me!

The only 'cheats' i have had were a dollop of ketchup on the homemade burger, and I had a snack size snickers today.

The only downside ATM, I haven't done a poo for 5 days!

Hello, thought I would pop in to the 'original' Dukan thread.

Am on my final day (day 4) of Attack and it has been very easy really. Lost 4lbs so far.

Have been waiting since monday for my oatbran to be delivered and still waiting... Hmm

Went for a half hour brisk walk in the rain earlier today. Really enjoyed it!

Was wondering though, can I used 1 Cal vegetable spray if stir frying? I know the book says you can wipe the bottom of the pan with oil so thought it might be ok.

TeenageWildlife · 12/08/2011 17:51

Yes you can use the spray.

Hi everyone, I have been lurking on this thread since I heard about the dukan diet, but have now finally taken the plunge.

I have done 6 days attack and now have just started cruise. I've done one day PandV and today only p again.

So far going really well, but I have 20kgs to lose!

Lost 3.2kg on attack, but nothing yesterday...

Just need to keep going I guess.

oncemorewithfeeling · 26/08/2011 11:37

Hi, I'd like to join you all .

Ive tried this before but found it really difficult. I am bad at coming off diets so to avoid the yo-yo I want to do 15days of attack and cruise. Then I am going to consolidate whatever I lose in that time. I am hoping this will give me motivation to really stick to the lean nonfat options and not cheat in any way. Plus that I actually consolidate rather than just fall off the diet and into a vat of chocolate.

here goes...

oncemorewithfeeling · 28/08/2011 11:29

anyone still here?

oncemorewithfeeling · 29/08/2011 13:21

What do you do about breakfast? I dont want to eat so many eggs (I have high bloodfats). And I would prefer to keep oatbran for the evening as it helps stop me snacking. Anyone have any other ideas for breakfast??

Topcat11 · 31/08/2011 06:30

I'm getting a bit fed up of eggs for breakfast too! I've been alternating them with the galette but that's got an egg in so no good if you're trying to avoid eggs. Hmm - not sure what to suggest other than yoghurt!

oncemorewithfeeling · 31/08/2011 21:24

I have discovered silken tofu smoothies as a way of solving my breakfast dilemma and thought I'd share. Its a softer type of tofu and I am whizzing it in blender with milk and sweetener and vanilla to make a smoothie. Needs to be sweet to get rid of beany taste. But nice, and its much higher protein than dairy and no sugar.

On oriental stuff has anyone tried shirataki noodles? i was wondering whether to order some online. Maybe not just now but for consolidation...

chocolatchaud · 13/09/2011 15:17

Hi - am only on day 2 but just wondered if anyone was still around on this thread?

It's okay so far - not too tired/hungry.

I'm not sure I can bring myself to go without vegetables every other day indefinitely though - does anyone else have a clash in their minds between this and their '5-a-day'? I just get really worried about things like bowel cancer (bit melodramatic!)

foreverondiet · 14/09/2011 23:15

chocolate, yes I decided very early on that protein only days not for me. I did it for attack and then decided no point in pv days, because:

a) I actually ate less carbs on PV days due to all the dairy I ate on PP days
b) weight loss was just as good
c) constipation

I did cut out fruit for several weeks and limited intake of starchy veggies but ate 5 portions of veggies each day. Its not forever though only until you reach target weight.

chocolatchaud · 15/09/2011 14:44

Thanks forever, I have decided to keep eating vegetables every day, with a possible protein-only day once a week (if I can face it!) I also won't have fruit until I reach my goal.

I just cannot reconcile no vegetables in my mind, now I have finished a 3 day attack phase.

How are you getting on with it in terms of reaching your goal?

Managed to go for a coffee today without having cake - amazing!

foreverondiet · 15/09/2011 23:15

I am a stone below my goal weight! I just kept on losing even when I added a couple of pieces of fruit, the cheese and some carbs (generally not bread though, despite what he says). I didn't even do a pp once a week.

Today I had 4 apples Shock but did go for a run.

Starting Dukan again today for 2 weeks. Done it in August and lost 10lb in 2 weeks. Not much but 63kg to start with. Want to lose about another 8-10lb Grin

sam9868 · 21/02/2012 23:04

can you eat lean - e.g Weightwatchers - bacon on Phase 1 of Dukan ?

winkle2 · 27/02/2012 12:51

Hi I'm new to dukan :) Am I allowed to eat the flavoured chicken fillets you can get?
