Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone can give me a bit of advice as I'm new to this whole Dukan lark.
I took the 'true weight' test on the website and was told it's 10st 0 (I'm 5'10). This is only 0.5lb less than I weigh now, but I would like to get down to 9st 6 - this is what I weighed a year ago and maintained it fairly easily before I started pigging and slowly but steadily putting on weight. So I don't have a great deal to lose but enough to make me want to follow something that gives results and retrains my eating so I don't put it back on again.
What I was wondering was whether I could get away with eating small amounts of lettuce/cucumber to keep me sane? Will this totally disrupt my weight loss? I figure since there are negligible carbs in the amount of these I'd have at a time (certainly less than in yogurt) they shouldn't have a big impact on the diet should they? I will go without if you think it's necessary!
Today is my first day going Dukan, this is what I've had so far:
Breakfast: egg white omelette
Snack: 125g fat free natural yogurt
Lunch: 200g chicken breast, 100g low fat cottage cheese, 1 handful lettuce leaves, about 1/4 of a cucumber (6ish slices)
I've bought some oat bran so I'm planning to have a galette for dinner, maybe with some tuna or ff natural yogurt.
How does this sound food wise? I want to get things right early on so I don't waste time thinking I'm doing it but not losing any weight. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
