Hey everyone,

Saw the last thread was nearly full so thought I would start a new one :)

Just waiting for my beef rogan curry to finish cooking. Smells AMAZING :) Thank god I am off attack now!

Good morning all - and yes it continues to be good - weigh in after day 2 cruise, have lost 11.75 lbs. I continue to be amazed. Have gone off my food a bit, no urgency to eat and having no cravings whatsoever. I was eating my oatbran in the galette, but have decided now I prefer it in a yoghurt. Ive been having vanilla Activia, but because its a bit sweet, Ive been adding a spoon of natural fat free fromage frais to is and its yum. Made sugar free jelly also for a sweet fix. Here's to a fat free day for everyone......

Am back in. Have lost the plot over the last few weeks but, fingers crossed, the huge stresses are over so I can concentrate on this again.

Brill weight loss, westie. Very inspiring.

Have had 2 yoghurts with bran and a cup of tea. Am doing a longish drive today so fingers crossed I won't feel like eating much.

Good luck everyone.

seedlessgrape · 11/07/2011 11:39

Welcome back to Sybil and well done to Westie - that's a fantastic loss!

I'm back today and am pleased to note that I've maintained most of the 11lbs loss that I achieved back in June - I've only gained 2lbs in the last four weeks. Back on Attack today for three/four days and will be exercising daily as I'm in training for a 13 mile charity Midnight Walk next Saturday!

Good luck to all.

Hi all

I've started this diet today and so far so good (in that after my omelette this morning, I made it through to lunch with no cravings at all - something that hasn't happened in a long time)

However, I have a question - how do you manage at work when on PP days. I've got today and tomorrow off and a fridge stocked full of the recommended shopping list so not too worried at the moment - but bit worried about what's easy to take to work for the remainder of the attack phase. Don't want really to take some tupperware full of chicken slices but will do if needs be!

sybilfaulty · 11/07/2011 13:31

Rosie, try tinned tuna / mackeral, or slices of chicken, turkey, salmon etc with salad for your PV days. Cottage cheese also good if you have a fridge. FF yoghurt also portable and very tasty.

Just had prawns with cottage cheese for lunch. Hurray. Still a bit hungry though so will have some water and see if it passes off.

HelloOutThere · 11/07/2011 13:50

Are activia vanilla fat free yogs and muller lights both ok in attack phase?

sybilfaulty · 11/07/2011 14:48

I think so, yes. It's fruit yoghurt which is a no no. The Muller ones are quite big though. I try to only have a couple a day.

HelloOutThere · 11/07/2011 15:36

Thanks Smile

foreverondiet · 11/07/2011 16:51

My work lunch is very boring - greek yoghurt (200g) and a can of tuna. Watch out for muller light and activia - as they contain added sugars in form of glucose syrup or similar as well as aspartame. Best to have natural yoghurt only, or limit fruit or flavoured yoghurts to one or two per day. Look for number of carbs per 100g and compare to natural yoghurt. If someone finds a flavoured yoghurt without added sugar let me know.

seedlessgrape · 12/07/2011 13:16

Hi Rosie, my PP lunches at work require a visit to M&S on the way to the office - they have quite a few offers on their pre-cooked meat and fish. Today for example I have two packets of their pre-sliced Arbroath hot smoked Lochmuir salmon.

I didn't say it was cheap!! :)

What I tend to do is pick up packets of sliced ham, chicken, Surimi (crab sticks), etc, and have them either on their own or with some cottage cheese; I must admit, however, that I am finding it very difficult to get completely fat free cottage cheese. All my local places have very low fat or virtually fat free - the nutritional information certainly makes for interesting reading!

foreverondiet · 12/07/2011 14:01

Any low fat cottage cheese is fine - remember that meat and fish contain fat. I wouldn't stress about low fat cottage cheese, which is probably only 1% fat.

sybilfaulty · 13/07/2011 07:36

How is everyone doing? I am going to have some chicken breast and a yoghurt but have lunch and dinner out so it's going to be a challenge.

hurricanewyn · 14/07/2011 13:51

Hi all

I'd like to join in. Started Dukan on Tuesday and have spent the past few days reading this thread and the past 2 on and off. Weighed yesterday and had lost half a pound, so was a little bit disappointed having read of some amazing loses, but just checked now and I've lost 3 pounds in total!!Grin

Had a mullerlite this morning for breakfast and just had some home made burgers for lunch. Had the beef skewers from the book yesterday for dinner. They were fab!

Have to say, I'm not missing junk too much, but fruit and veg, even though it's only been a couple of days. there are some pink lady apples in the fruit bowl just calling to me!!!

MarieClaire, I think you'll find that most of us on here have only good things to say about the Dukan. The only time it may not have worked for us is when we didn't do it properly. But, hey, good luck with the feature.

catinboots · 17/07/2011 08:14

Had some with my yoghurt and oatbran!
